Can you guys stop complaining about her foundation. She is two toned and darkskin (like me) and it's hard to find a foundation that compliments your darker tone and lighter tone. So it's not her fault that she can't find a shade to match her many skin tones.
But her concealer is too light tho

The only issue I see with the foundation is that it's too warm. I suffer the same problem when searching for a foundation. I'm about two shades lighter than her. For me, I find myself looking for neutral foundations just because they aren't too warm (orangey) or too cool (ashy). But most cosmetics companies think that brown skin girls have warm undertones. A foundation will match my arms (which are naturally darker and redder than my face) and won't match the center of my face. I think she needs a neutral toned foundation but if someone was sending me free products, hell I would use them too. It oxidized nicely when she was done.
+jojeaux yeah. I have warm undertones. And it's hard finding foundation because most of the make me look ashy and gray
Yes, I noticed when she first put it on, that it was very orange.

+nativechy it's not criticism or hating it's constructive. Her undertones are obviously neutral...so fawn or Toffee would suit her much better. It's still a pretty look otherwise.
Perfect! I also choose a concealer shade that is quite light, because when I chose one only 1-2 shades lighter it oxidized throughout the day and I longer looked "highlighted." It takes about 20-30 mins for your makeup to warm up and settle into your skin. So it looks fine by the time I have to leave the house.... hers is not "too light" at all.
Thats the thing I hate I look good for about 30 minutes then it oxidizes and I'm 2 shades too dark
First of all...why is everyone complaining about her makeup/consealer??? IT IS MAKEUP!!! She can do what she wants to do. She slayed this tutorial and every other tutorial. She has made videos with cocoa foundation. So pay attention instead of moaning and groaning. Makeup makes everyone who wears it complexion look different. Seriously

that eyeshadow and bronzer in the crease is EXACTLY what I do when I'm hustling to leave home on time for work. but I use city colors eyeshadow in barely exposed (lovely shades) and city colors matte bronzer in chocolate truffle.

+taraivia carter everyone's different. Obviously you've only seen a couple of ways on how to do a bun . Believe me there is a lot of ways. I'm just curious on how she makes it big . And what products she uses to make it slick
+taraivia carter just like with most things they make an updated version . Didn't they make an updated hair routine a couple times even though they had one before . This is because they use new products and techniques to do it . All I am asking is for an updated bun routine . It's their choice if they want to do it or not after all it is their channel . If they do it yay if they don't oh well .

I received several samples of this foundation as well and I love it. Several warm toned dark shades for WOC and I LOVE the applicator also!

My mom uses that foundation. I've used a bit of it mixed with my foundation to match my skin tone and it's nice.

loveee it. buuut, you should invest in some foundations that are darker because they aren't your match. try the shea moisture foundation they have darker colors

I don't see anything wrong with your foundation/concealer. I know that sometimes things look lighter or darker because of the camera but you look beautiful either way. It looks good. It doesn’t look odd or outrageous. Once it’s on you can’t even tell she’s wearing foundation that’s a little lighter. Besides it’s impossible to find a foundation that matches you exactly. She looks great that’s all that matters.
