I was always excited to see that blue and white B-4 unloading in the pits as a child. I knew he would either win or put on one heck of a show trying to! Thank you for the racing memories and God bless.
i was lucky enough as a kid to spend alot of time with jack at his house and go to alot of races with him. I was just a kid but i tell you what that guy would race me on foot and still out run me. super good guy. Cried for days when the family gave us a call. Awesome video. truly a great
miss seeing this guy on the track, great racer, i remember as a kid i was always getting to see him race, looking back it was great memories and i cannot believe it has been almost 10 years since his passing.. RIP Black Jack
i drove ol red. black jacks first car. if u wanna see pics of me racin with tommy and jackie down at mudlick valley in ky let me know. i was 14 drivin the old. driving the ol leaf spring. i messed up n dad sold it n i havent been in a car in over 10 yrs. i loved black jack. i grew up watching him at florence speedway n eldora among others. i still love ol bjb. always will remember him sitting with me my first time out. at brown county speedway. lil 1/4 mile in southern ohio

What a shame... he was a great guy and a great race car driver... what was the truth? He was murdered for cheating on another woman right? What a shame... RIP JB!
Cat/Blaine, his friend, shot him in the head , Cat was out of his mind on coke. And he was already pretty crazy to start with. Accused Jack of messing with his ol'lady. Funny thing is before Jack took me over to meet Cat for first time, told me , You always saying you want to meet some good rightous people, well come on, I'm gonna introduce you to the best one I ever knew. Very sad. Jack was fun, and a good friend to me.

Thanks for this video. Love him or hate him, he will always be one of the best Dirt Late Model drivers ever.

The late model I raced was an old boggs leaf spring car. It was still fast in the late 90s and early 2000s
