I don't know if you're looking for recommendations I can definitely recommend PBS Space Time, their videos How Time Becomes Space In A Black Hole and Do The Past And Future Exist cover similar material. They usually have pretty good illustrations to help with understanding. ScienceClic English also has Why Time And Space Swap In A Black Hole which has some pretty good illustrations as well.
10:36 One issue with determinism is that Quantum Mechanics imposes a minimum amount of uncertainty on how much information about a system can be known. So how can you ever expect to have a perfectly determined future, when every possible interaction can resolve in different ways (well Many Earths I guess, but...)?
You should react to "True limits of humanity" by kurzgesagt. It's a great video which explores the true size of the universe and if humans can inhibit them.
8:24 Yes, your question makes sense. The only reason Kurzgesagt's situation is possible is because of their "magical internet", or better said "instantaneous communication", which is, in reality, impossible. In reality, all of those aliens will be experiencing different "nows", years in the past, or years in the future to yours, but those "nows" cannot interact with each other at all, which means that in the end, they all share the same past and the same future, when they manage to reach contact with each other.
i dont think you quite got it magical internet aside, we know how relativity works and that is true we know time works diffrently depend on speed and postion, we can see stars burn and planets from milions of years in the past even if in ouer "Now" they are already dead and gone we would be non the wiser, that means that said planet just kinda is doomed to die and be gone even if we dont see it but know its past, if aliens were to look at ouer planet fromn light years away all the would see would see ouer planet in the past but that would mean that there is no free will and things sort of just happend in the grand scale of time.
@@lop90ful1 I agree with all of that. But it doesn't contradict with what I explained. I don't like the way people care about 'free will' in relation to time. Yes, every future event is predefined and unchangeable. So what? Is not like anyone can go to the future then come back to tell what is going to happen. Just make the right decisions and that's it. If you are destined to take very bad decisions, well, that's your fault for not deciding to take better ones since being told were the problem lies at.
@@lop90ful1 The whole “seeing the past” at great distances thing has nothing to do with relativity, that’s just because the speed of light is finite and they’re seeing an old image. The “now”s aren’t synced up at all, it’s simply like looking at an old photo. In particular, any “magic communication” would not be with someone from the past at all because it wouldn’t be limited by the speed of light unless both entities were moving relative to eachother as described in the video
@@supC_ And that's pretty much why faster than light travel will never be possible, unless things like wormholes are not instantaneous but just feel instantaneous for the traveler.
We got astrophysicist vtuber before GTA 6 😅
LOL 🤣 we really did

Matt O'Dowd is amazing
I'm open for recommendations, I'll note that video down. Thank you !
Fun seeing you work over the idea of time. Oh the joys of seeing the new cusp of science and understanding.

I appreciate the v-tuber / reaction angle dealing with something other than memes or other youtube popular c r a p.

They really like to miss the Bus. 🙂
Yeah you should look up a video on the Platypus, probably the strangest mammal on earth.
Yeah, one of them is a secret spy at some point.
Cool Video!
Kurzgesat is the goat. Actually makes learning fun and makes me want to know more about something
saw the title of the video and thought "this should be interesting". after the intro I subscribed (welcome to the world of overthinking)
Thank you for subbing! I hope you're enjoying the content ^.^
@ChanniePlus Thanks, I will 😁

These claims have not been empirically proven. Google "Reification (fallacy)".
