I like that it's more ads centric, since I can never get into CS or Val hip firing.
thats the whole point seems they going for the fast paced adsing gameplay which is needed we were suppose to get promod but they stopped

@@aFoolsMartyr it’s not, at all. I’m ascendant and literally everyone ADS with rifles at mid to long ranges. It’s very useful and VERY viable.

only had time to play 3 games during the stress test but really enjoyed the feel of the game so far. Excited to see what becomes of it because the game feels CRISP

@@rjun152I also played some in the stress test and I think the better you get with the moving and shooting mechanics and after learning the recoil to a degree it will be. Additionally I like the sound of 6 kill aces, the hit registration in my limited experience with the game was very good
This is literally Valorant with ADS but without the one-tap mechanic/punish from CS. Honestly, if this game reaches the final stages of artwork planning, I believe the direction they choose for maps, characters, and skins will be crucial to its success. Otherwise, the game looks pretty standard with A and B objectives, appealing mainly to a niche group of mechanically skilled gamers. I was hoping for Shroud to introduce a Delta Force: Hazard Operations-style gameplay or a once-human PvP/PvE game.
This is not project astrid, this is another game that he was part of. The other one is with sacriel which is going to be like survival game with hopefully a better pvp, which was his main game that he was talking about before this game(not certain though).
Balanced take. The game looks fun for sure, but I'm not sure if I'm seeing ENOUGH to get people away from Valorant or CS... I'm my opinion they need to make the character swapping mechanic more interesting somehow. But here's hoping I get proven wrong.
@@MrKazukstan Yes, I do agree that the game looks fun. No need to worry about getting one-tapped in the head, or worrying too much about recoil if I have to burst or spray, as shown in the game. It might be different from the final release once balancing begins. Artwork and skill sets seem to be a combination of Apex and Valorant, nothing too unique or game-breaking yet as the game hasn't reached a stage where angles, lineups, etc., are introduced. If they do start an Alpha test, hopefully they could at least finalize the graphics, because currently, it looks pretty cartoonish, unless this is Shroud's direction for the game's art.
This game is ADS focused which makes a big difference. Also the character swap makes the game play out way differently. It's certainly different enough to take players from those games. Im just about tired of Val/CS myself need something fresh. Multiple guns can one tap btw.

The only thing I'd rather see, is being able to change the enemy outline color if you wanted to. I haven't been blessed to play yet so idk if that's an option. I'm looking forward to this game though, looks so good!

You have such bright environment, like in CS2. And like in CS2, you should make players have darker colors that stand out to have better visibility on them. Also, weapon models with darker colors would work better too, currently everything is very boring visually due to complete absense of dark shades.

I really like the idea that you can move and shoot accurately in this game. That was something I could never drill into my head for cs coming from TF

Seems like a cool game. I always hoped someone would release a tac shooter with ADS. The only issue I have with it, and I have the same issue with valorant, is the sterile feeling of the game. Like there's no tension or momentum. For some reason CS has that tension for me and I have no idea why. Maybe when we're able to play it'll feel different.
Its the visuals and audio. CS feels real and it has impact, whereas Valorant is more dull and animated. Csgo is the game with "real" guns and sounds and valorant is the game with bb guns.

@@okene 5v5 is alot harder to keep up with, you have to follow so many more people. Rocket League has 3v3 and was alot easier to follow while also having one of the biggest esports. But thats just my personal thoughts.

It's like perfectly in the middle of Csgo and Valo, pretty decent attempt for a game that Both playerbase can kind of dip into time to time.

My only critique is that I wished the guns have a heavier sound design. Just from watching it doesnt feel like it gives the dopamine rush cuz it sounds 'lighter'

Shroud a cool character ability would be give someone like a split gate ability. Where you can open a hole through a wall to either peak or cross through

The game looks amzzing. Just needs more focus on the showing off aspect. Killcams, betweem rounds enemy chat, Weirdly specific challenges for skins (trickshots and such), A chance to show off yout character and achievments (pre and post game)

This is a super solid game, very cool original game mechanics, I think it will go far.
I'm not sure why but I feel like its missing something, maybe its because there are so few players 3v3 style, It would be interesting to see if 4v4 works better.. Maybe the movement could do with speeding up ever so slightly too. I'm a csgo gamer so I think thats why I think these things haha

At 10:09 there's a bit of screen tearing, not sure if it's the game or something else
Ok all i want to say is shroud you need to change a little bit in snipers shooting zooming animation
2-make killing opponents harder like reduce bullets damage
3- make recoil more hard i cnt say like cs ofc but really try playing around more with the weapons recoils
4- are good but make them better like knife animation and other player movement make them like we have to masturbate when we see someone with good movement

If you want this game to really pop off do a 5v5 like the valorant match ludwig did with you and tarik and all of them, get moist in it and jynxzi on launch it'd be huge, Im sure that'd be costly but if you can recreate that fun atmosphere ludwig did with that match I think it'd be an easy win, get xqc in there and acu just go craaayyy

If the TTK was slower, more like apex I would def want to play this. But it takes away all the fun when it's this fast, where you don't have the time to react.

I really do respect the effort in creating your own game because I'm sure it's far from easy. However, the first time I saw this I didn't know it was yours and my first thoughts were "it's discount Valorant", from the UI to the bounciness of the animations to general graphics it really does look like some kind of scam Valorant you'd see advertised on a dodgy website. It doesn't seem very interesting to me because it strikes me as a lower budget version of e-dater CS, a clone of a clone.

The fact that it prioritizes ADS instead of crosshair will draw a lot of people, but I think the UI/HUD should be made more original so the game doesn’t get the reputation of “valorant clone.”

As feedback: make enemies easier to see vs teammates. Different color outlines. Otherwise the game looks great. Can't wait for bigger maps and 5vs5 (10vs10 actually lol). Other than that the game looks amazing and has lots of potential.
