Jens bogren is a genius, he extracted the best of casagrande's demigod drumming, he improved the sound of Andreas and finally showed us the voice of Derrick Green. This album Quadra is a masterpiece, I wish the metal scene recognizes it.

Congratulations on this video. They always show us the "A" side of the album, the beautiful part of everything. The final result. This is the human side of the great Eloy Casagrande. I love that it shows the frustration of a musician, when he is wrong, when a drumstick flies. And as he ends up demonstrating his creativity and professionalism. There is a great team behind and that is important. I reiterate it, thanks for this video and for showing the human side of one of my idols.
Eloy is on its way to becoems the best drummer in the genre.we can see his latin roots, he brings a very new style of drumming in the death metal ranks. he's an animal on the kit,but he's also very,very accurate,precise, won't miss a beat,a strike,and every hit on his drums is well thought.a very,very intelligent drummer with a very on point technique. it kind of elevates sepultura to new heights.

É impressionante como ele é um cara coletivo e que consegue tirar o melhor de todos os integrantes da banda, o Andreas voltou a ser uma "riff machine" e parece que voltou ao seu auge composicional de 30 anos atrás! E pra quem é viúva dos Cavaleras e fica ainda chorando as mágoas e não aceitando os novos discos, eu só digo uma coisa: enquanto o Sepultura continua uma banda muito profissional, sempre cuidando da saúde e detonando ao vivo, no outro lado temos dois velhos gordos barrigudos em que um já não toca mais porra nenhuma e o outro já tá até perdendo a voz. O Aquiles e o Andreas são o maior exemplo de que dá para ficar velho e seguir performando em altíssimo nível a cada ano que se passa, e sempre buscando estar melhor em termos composicionais e como musicistas de palco.

As a lifelong sepultura fan who saw them live when igor and max were still there, they are even better now. And eloy has played a huge part in this transformation.
I find it just absolutely nuts how far Sepultura has come, especially in the mechanical department. Thier last 2 albums' production is just crazy. That's the mighty Nuclear Blast for you. I used to have to ride my bike to Coconuts Records just to special order Beneath the Remains, so it is truly special to see how far extreme music has come.
In my opinion Sepultura is THE best heavy metal band in the world right now and Eloy Casagrande is THE #1 drummer. His playing is extremely technical, physical, powerful, explosive and dynamic. Andreas Kisser is an exceptional guitarist and his work on Quadra is probably his best work so far. Paulo Jr. is an old school bassist who just seem to get better and better. Derrick Green is in his top vocal form here and has proved persistence is key to success. The Brazilian band have made their name in creativity and Quadra is no exception, this time with symphonics, a better production and a bigger sound than ever. These four guys deserve all the respect for keeping and improving the Cavalera legacy. RESPECT!
You've got to admit, for a band that has been so long in the business, it's really cool that even at this stage, they come to the realisation that their drummer is the. Guy to bring them to the next level
and thats what it takes to be one of the greatest drummers alive. Its not about playing perfect everyday on every song and in every concert. Its about screwing up and failing maybe 100x. Then perfectly nailing it 1000x straight.
Absolutely admire Eloy’s playing!! Very inspiring!! I love the fact that a LOT of the footage I’ve seen of him in the studio recording he’s using a Ludwig LM402 snare drum!!

I didn't know it was possible to physically move that fast. Eloy is on another level of drumming. The whole band is tight as hell. This new album will stand out through the years.

It's really cool to see such a great drummer struggle in the studio (be a human being).. I've been there before, where at home when you practice and write the parts and you feel like you're ready to kill it on the recording, but once the metronome starts clicking, you tense up and make mistakes.. I've been there Eloy.. You're still a top notch player though!
