These challenges are great! For being ultra runners at their body weight, those numbers weren't bad. Chadd's numbers were really good for 165lbs. Chili learned about that old man strength today, son!

I was in the Army, 11B, got chaptered service connected after my first deployment to Iraq 07-08, been in a bad spot since then, but your videos got me motivated to start running again. It's hard when you're older and out of shape, but I'm back down to a 12:38 2 mile now. Thanks for your inspiration and motivation brother. God bless.
I'm ex army 11B as well. One deployment to Iraq and one to Afghanistan. When I got out in 2012 I got fat as fuck. Almost 300lbs. I got down to 175lbs and back up to 200lbs now, looking jacked as fuck. Honestly I would have beat both of them by a few hundred pounds but my cardio is shit so they are both in way better shape than I am. It's good to get back at it in my late 30s man, soundd like you are doing the same. That's a damn good 2 mile time. I couldn't do that in my early 20s. Congratulations, keep killing it bro

Smoked for 20 years, been quit 45 days now, Chadd you and Chili have inspired me with these videos, and the 3 of 7 content is top notch for the soul. Thanks guys

Damn I’m around Chadd’s weight and used to squat 315 bench 230 and deadlift 305. These days though it’s probably a little less but I’m confident I could put up 200 bench, 275 squat, and deadlift around 275 or so. Impressive work guys! I know cross country runners have a hard time building and keeping muscle. Some people can just run themselves to skin and bones. I’d be lucky to run farther than a mile or two. Good competition guys!!! Time to hit the weights once or twice a week and you guys will be putting up a lot of weight real quick. In the powerlifting gym I went to I’ve seen guys bench 600 and squat 800. It’s funny to see the bar bend with all the weight

The sight of the rounded lower back Chadd on the dead lift had me feeling unsure about how your back might feel the next day or two....but then I thought, rounded back on dead lift probably doesn't affect you much. They say keep the back straight and stick the ass out in the beginning and hip thrust forward to complete the rep. I'm only a messenger. Good luck sir.
Hey Guy's, enjoying the challenges..haha..great fun! How about combining strength and endurance? What about running with packs weighted with a percentage of your bodyweight. Or farmers carry, I think it's called..Basically walking a stated distance, with weights equivalent to a quarter of your bodyweight, in each hand. Or a shorter distance, with weights equivalent to half your bodyweight? Or combine the two? Come on Chad..u got this buddy!
On a pound for pound comparison, Chili lifted 4.5 lbs/lb of bodyweight and Chadd lifted 4.4 lbs/lb. of bodyweight if he's 170, and 4.5 lbs/lb of bodyweight if he's 165. So basically they tied.
