I wish they still made washers! Mine died this year after 20+ year of service. I can’t decide what to buy to replace it so I have been going to the laundromat for the last 6 months!
you know what, i'm generally not a fan of sponsorships but claire getting her entire kitchen sponsored by kitchenaid is such a boss move i can't help but respect it. we stan.
Brown butter/brown sugar spiced sponge, sweet potato ice cream, and marshmallow-y meringue sounds like a solid fall dessert combo to me. Now I want to try these for sure!!
I was thinking about some fall combinations watching this as well, and I think something like a cinnamon spiced sponge with walnut/caramel ice cream (with roasted apple bits in it) sounds really good too :D
watching Claire leave an abusive media situation to having her own channel and her own big sponsors is like watching one's children grow up healthy and happy 🥺
In fairness, I don’t think Claire was in an abusive relationship. She was the star, she got what she wanted. In that case it’s all the more respectable that she walked away from it when she saw what was being done to her colleagues and all the more dangerous because she was walking away from so much with no guarantee of what would come out of the other end (especially when the other end was a recipe book deal; that is not a safe place to live)
Claire got paid thousands of dollars per video at BA. Still, I don't think she really liked doing Gourmet Makes and either used the controversy as an excuse to leave BA or made the savvy PR choice to leave so people wouldn't be mad at her for staying.
There was absolutely nothing happening to Claire back at BA. She was fine before BA, she was fine during it, and she's still fine after. Nothing has changed
Thanks KitchenAid for partnering with one of the best culinary professionals in the world!!! And thanks to Clair for all your great work! I look forward to your show and attempting what awesome creation you are sharing with us!
Hi Claire! I used to watch all your videos on BA, and I just recently (a few weeks ago) started watching your videos here. I know, I’ve been living under a rock. I’ve since been binging everything 😅 and can honestly say I have enjoyed every single video. You’re such an amazing teacher!
Yet another fantastic Claire Saffitz video! I have 15-year-old KitchenAid convection wall oven, convection microwave and electric cooktop. My favorite thing, though, is the 3rd Rack in the dishwasher! The deeper 3rd rack is truly functional and a game changer. Congratulations on the KitchenAid sponsorship. Thanks to KitchenAid for sponsoring our girl Claire.
I think Claire's deserts are the best because she's not a fan of overly sweet. Too many people think that overpowering sweet is the way to go. Maybe it is if you don't like flavour, haha. Me? I'm goin' with Claire's recipes.
I’ve noticed the same. I always try things on Pinterest and they’re always way to sweet and unbalanced :,). I love sweets, don’t get me wrong, but I don’t love having a tummy ache after a single cookie🤨🤣 Love how dynamic claire’s recipes are and how amazing her use of flavors always is?
I seriously believe that no one deserves a professional kitchen being sponsored by KitchenAid more than Clair, who released a full cookbook from her tiny kitchen in a New York apartment. Congrats 🎉💕
Congratulations on the Kitchen Aid sponsorship. I adore all my Kitchen Aid appliances! My convection ovens is 17 yrs young and has never once failed me. It’s baked some wonderful family memories.
Baked Alaska is a fun and special treat. I made one for my birth daughter the first time we celebrated her birthday together. She turned 28. Make a Baked Alaska for someone special in your life!
aww, I've been here since her first video and now she is sponsored by KITCHENAID! that's awesome! I love her brown butter chocolate chunk cookie recipe!!! God bless you!
Congrats Claire!!! So happy for your Kitchen Aid kitchen. Since you love coffee so much, next time do a coffee ice cream, coffee infused cake baked Alaska. You will LOVE it
Ugh dream kitchen!!! Major props to kitchen aid love the fridge/freezer. That mixer color is cooolll!! We have the bright red one and she is our baby hahah
Thank god, someone who actually made BAKED Alaska! So many recipes are for a cheat version that should be called Flambeed Alaska or Blowtorched Alaska.
My dad's favorite dessert is strawberry icecream pie. I think taking the toasted Strawberries and nice merengue from this recipe would make it even better!
Omg do I smell a Claire & kitchen aid product collab coming ??? MUST NEEDS offset spatula- those sheets you use on your pans - Claire containers (you have a stack behind you in every video) - and if possible the little smock you wear (because who is even wants a reg one after watching you for years)
I'm so happy that you got an amazing collab with a great company to help make your new kitchen so we can get many amazing recipes from your channel. KitchenAid is an awesome company that makes high-quality kitchen products. A huge round of applause for companies that support channels and not just big corporate companies.
Congrats! They're definitely getting their money's worth with the number of mentions 🙂 Consider putting the oven up higher, it's much more ergonomic to work with. My back isn't what it used to be 🙂
After seeing the mess on the silpat after roasting the strawberries, I have to ask: how do you wash your silpats? Using soap left ours with a soapy taste that ended up transferring to food, and I’ve since read not to use soap, but how else do you remove stuck on food, etc., particularly oils from roasting?
kitchenaid if you’re reading this you should make an oven that you can adjust the racks by a button. like it rises and stuff automatically 😭 my least favorite thing is rearranging the racks for different recipes
Kitchen aid sponsoring/building an ENTIRE kitchen, is a HUGE partnership. Congratulations Claire
“It’s so nice having this rack pull out.” Don’t all oven racks pull out like that? 😂
thanks
for real, so proud of her
I wish they still made washers! Mine died this year after 20+ year of service. I can’t decide what to buy to replace it so I have been going to the laundromat for the last 6 months!
@@funkychilldude no, they’re on a track that holds the rack to prevent the rack from falling, kind of like a drawer
Claire I got your book last year as a gift and fell in love with baking. This year I’m applying for PASTRY SCHOOL!!!
congrats!!! thats so sool :))
@@callynw9896 thank you!!
huzzah!
you know what, i'm generally not a fan of sponsorships but claire getting her entire kitchen sponsored by kitchenaid is such a boss move i can't help but respect it. we stan.
The "Oh no, the Brioche is still in the oven!" moment will never not be hilarious!
Lmao what episode was that from? Did the brioche make it? 🥺
@@jmo2948 It's the baking questions episode: th-cam.com/video/Bh-0KZas0FA/w-d-xo.html
I immediately thought of this scene when she mentioned the timer.
Claire getting her whole kitchen sponsored!! Amazing! Congratulations Claire and team!
Brown butter/brown sugar spiced sponge, sweet potato ice cream, and marshmallow-y meringue sounds like a solid fall dessert combo to me. Now I want to try these for sure!!
Ohhhhh thats so smart

We hope you support the BA alums who were the targets of the exploitation.
Claire got paid thousands of dollars per video at BA. Still, I don't think she really liked doing Gourmet Makes and either used the controversy as an excuse to leave BA or made the savvy PR choice to leave so people wouldn't be mad at her for staying.
Can someone explain to me?
There was absolutely nothing happening to Claire back at BA. She was fine before BA, she was fine during it, and she's still fine after. Nothing has changed
Thanks KitchenAid for partnering with one of the best culinary professionals in the world!!! And thanks to Clair for all your great work! I look forward to your show and attempting what awesome creation you are sharing with us!
Why are you thanking a corporation
@@funkychilldude because perhaps she is a perceptive, grateful and appreciative human being!
As a lifelong Sims player, Claire teaching me how to make this is so important to me. Thank you ❤😭
Binging with Babish did a video making food from the Sims that included a version of baked Alaska.
Hi Claire! I used to watch all your videos on BA, and I just recently (a few weeks ago) started watching your videos here. I know, I’ve been living under a rock.

Welcome to the new squad … don’t forget to check out Sohla she just dropped a mystery recipe episode

Kitchen Aid sponsor?? Hell yeah Claire! You deserve the biggest sponsors.
Yes Claire getting the KitchenAid sponsorship and outfitted kitchen 🙌 so deserved.
Also that timer comment and flashback to the brioche was hilarious!
The winking meringue peak made my day! Thank you for a delightful video!
OMG. She came through to save my week. I waited yesterday as usual and my heart sank when there was no new upload.
More to come!
I love Claire. I don’t care what she makes, I will watch it. Plus, it’s always turns out incredible so that’s great too. ;)
I seriously believe that no one deserves a professional kitchen being sponsored by KitchenAid more than Clair, who released a full cookbook from her tiny kitchen in a New York apartment. Congrats 🎉💕
Baked Alaska was a holiday tradition at my grandparents’ house when I was a kid! Love it! ❤
Congratulations on the Kitchen Aid sponsorship. I adore all my Kitchen Aid appliances! My convection ovens is 17 yrs young and has never once failed me. It’s baked some wonderful family memories.

Claire you are the best!! Love seeing an upload from you! Watching your videos and baking with me has helped my relationship with food so much! 💗💗
I went on a cruise when I was younger and all I remember was LOVING the baked Alaska and I’ve never had it again!!
OMG SHES BACK... LONGEST 4 WEEKS EVER
She posted 2 weeks ago. I think this is the new schedule
She had a video on NY Times for babka and challah
This unlocked a memory from cooking in highschool. Thanks for the weekend treat!
S'mores? Marshmallow for the meringue, cinnamon/honey flavored chiffon, and there's so many ice cream options you could go with.
Claire does it again! These Baked Alaskas are EVERYTHING!!! 12/10
Congrats on the huge sponsor Claire I usually hate ads but I’d listen to Claire talk about the efficiency and work process of anything honestly ❤
oh YUM!! perfect way to finish off the last of my summer strawberries :D
thank you Claire (and KitchenAid) for another delicious little treat ❤️🍓
aww, I've been here since her first video and now she is sponsored by KITCHENAID! that's awesome! I love her brown butter chocolate chunk cookie recipe!!! God bless you!
yes those cookies are the best I always have some ready to go in my freezer....
All of the slides on these appliances (including that oven!) look really solid and a pleasure to use
Persimmons are my fav fall fruit. I’d love to see a dessert with them! 🥰
Häagen-Dazs Strawberry ice cream is one of my all time favourites. This looks so good!
Congrats Claire!!! So happy for your Kitchen Aid kitchen. Since you love coffee so much, next time do a coffee ice cream, coffee infused cake baked Alaska. You will LOVE it
I have never made this in individual portions, and no hard brownie base. Brilliant.
I always wanted to make Baked Alaska, but, I've seen big versions before, nvr smaller ones. I'd go for this recipe!
Hope you enjoy
Claire, clear bowls would help us see what is happening in the mixer. Kitchenaid makes them for all stand mixers. Also with the other mixing.
Agreed.
Ugh dream kitchen!!! Major props to kitchen aid love the fridge/freezer. That mixer color is cooolll!! We have the bright red one and she is our baby hahah
Induction is so good. It can do both fast heating and fine control!
You have an immaculate resume in your baking Claire. Impressive.
Those strawberries caramelizing like that look delicious! I need to try this.
Thank god, someone who actually made BAKED Alaska! So many recipes are for a cheat version that should be called Flambeed Alaska or Blowtorched Alaska.
Going to try this with Pumpkin ice cream for Thanksgving. Thanks for posting this!
Claire u are my favorite content creator on TH-cam, I don’t even bake but u r awesome
That dishwasher is a dream! I want this Kitchen.
Congrats, Claire! The kitchen (and the baked Alaska) is beautiful! ❤

im loving the eggs in the background
wow kitchenaid sponsoring her entire kitchen 😭😭😭 claire im so happy for you
I enjoy watching her videos. Where do you buy those ring cutters?
The little face on the “stiff peak “made my day.❤

I like the EGGS in the background changing color! 😅(0:00)
Congrats on the sponsorship. These videos are excellent!

BEST FRIDAY EVER!! 😊❤😊
Would love a full kitchen tour😍
LOVE Kitchen Aid! Congratulations Claire!!
an unexpected upload is an amazing way to start the weekend!
Congratulations! Kitchenaid partnership, good for you!
Is there clear defined areas for the induction or is it the entire stove top surface? Loved this video, Claire! Congratulations on the partnership!
Best Friday surprise ever!!! Can’t wait to watch after work!!

She slayed
I'VE BEEN WAITINGGGGG FOR A BAKED ALASKA RECIPE
i've baked for years but this is the one dessert i'm afraid to make lol
Congrats on the partnership! :) great match
Woohoo, go Claire -- what a great sponsorship!
So amazing! A little bit above my baking level though 😅
You can use that leftover sponge for cake pops.
Does anybody else get flashbacks to the GBBO whenever they hear "Baked Alaska"?
Hot damn that themesong is fabulous 👌
Claire Saffitz blows my mind , roasting strawberries 😅
TH-cam kept recommending this video to me and I thought I’ve seen all of Claire’s videos! Oh shoot I missed it by a day what have I done😫😂
What a nice video to wake up to!
Hope you enjoyed it!
You got partnered with Kitchen Aid!?! SCORE!!!!!!! That's a dream come true right there!!
Whenever I hear about Baked Alaska I get GBBO Bingate flashbacks
I guess I've still never quite gotten over that debacle.
For a fall take - chocolate sponge and pumpkin ice-cream
what model of kitchenaid mixer is claire using?
YASSSSS kitchen aid spons thats amazing
Just when I had no plans for the weekend
I want to make these tonight! Great video ❤
Now I know what my Sims were cooking and eating
Why did you go with a built in Cooktop and built in Oven and not a Range? The kitchen looks great btw
Marzipan covered cake bites or almond pastry (Bear Claw?) would be a nice Autumn dessert to see...
kitchenaid if you’re reading this you should make an oven that you can adjust the racks by a button. like it rises and stuff automatically 😭 my least favorite thing is rearranging the racks for different recipes
Last episode: the recipes in the new book don’t need a stand mixer
Next episode: this episode is brought to you buy the kitchen aid stand mixer lol
This is from her first book
Gotta cash in whenever the opportunity presents itself.
Claire! Will you do a kitchen tour at some point?
Another great video, Claire. I can't wait to make Baked Alaska for my friends -- they're FROM Alaska! Lol!
