Exactly. I watch every single video he uploads to learn as much as possible and to have fun watching movies too. And just watching him decay into a sarcastic, cynicalist overseer who still analyses and properly breaks down strategies in deep cuts was nothing short of glorious.
Yeah. He's gotten a lot more... "excited" in his brutal criticism of stupid character decisions as of recent. In the older videos of his I've watched, he used to be a lot more cold. Not to say that that was not entertaining, I just like how expressive he is now. Makes his analyses just a little bit funnier.
I personally don't care for this current style, and prefer the more informative Nerd Explains. But still love this channel overall. Even the videos I consider "bad" videos are still entertaining.

Honestly the Netflix Resident Evil Series makes me appreciate the movies far more. At least they where entertaining and held truer to the source material.
The one good thing about this show was the scene with all the Wesker clones and the actor's portrayal of video game Wesker. Even for a short scene, It was one of the funniest things.

It might not have even been him. He hired some writers/editors a while ago to take the burden off. I’m not even sure he contributes anything more than reading a script now. It’s why there are uploads almost daily, because of multiple people writing scripts and editing the videos.

Man I barely could sit through this summary, you have my respect for being able to sit through the whole show without ripping your own eyes out. Also how to beat this zombie apocolypse: strategically place some woodchippers and every once in a while throw in a live rabbit to make sure it's blades are enticing to the zombies and then wait for every zombie in vicinity to dispose of itself. That would at least deal with the run of the mill basic zombies, the mutated stuff might take a bit more effort.

That the zombies immediately rush anything that smells of fresh blood is a ridiculously easy to exploit weakness. Any kind of trap where the zombies would die immediately or just couldn't get out once they fell into it could be used with the same strategy and reduce the number of zombies in an area until you eventually caught all of them.
Your commentary makes it all worth while. The crocodile raycons were on point. Totally expected you to congratulate the writers for making the 6 shot revolver run out of ammo after 6 shots.

Hell... I would love to see a apocalypse scenario where the main bad guys aren't people. Yeah, I get it, humans suck. But can't the zombies be the baddies in a zombie movie for once?
Urm, I’m pretty sure that nearly ALL zombie apocalypse movies have zombies as the main antagonists! It’s the exceptions like Resident Evil that don’t! Evil Dead, Dawn Of The Dead, Zombie Land, Shaun Of The Dead etc. They may have some plot points with evil humans, but it’s usually not the focus of the movie’s threat to the protagonists!
Respect for the quality of this video. An hour of breaking down the show must have been days of work and editing if not weeks. I was fully entertained and even my mom couldn't help laughing from where she was playing Solitaire on the other side of the room.
Understanding how inept umbrella is I’d probably just go with them and try and figure out a safer route… diving headfirst into hundreds of zombies, with an extremely high chance of injuring your leg is 100% death
@@FoxSenpie I don't think it necessarily has anything to do with the race or gender of the leading characters. That would suggest most fans of Resident Evil are sexist and racist which is incredibly insulting. I didn't care what the color of there skin or their gender was at all. My issue was the terrible writing. It has one of the slowest moving plots I've ever seen. Like by far. This made it incredibly difficult to get through while actually staying interested in the story at all. If they had just stuck to the 2022 story line and left out 2036 it probably could have been pretty good. For some reason though, they thought it would be smart to jump back in forth which, literally spoiled the 2022 plot line as it went along. This is one of the dumbest things you can do in writing because it's so difficult to maintain a perfect balance between the two story time lines while also not ruining the earliest story line from the jump. There were ways they could have actually fixed this but I honestly just really don't feel like writing an essay here lol. Either way though, in my opinion, race and gender had absolutely nothing to do with the failure of the show.

That's not how smell works... If it is contained there is no smell, even if it is a thin plastic bag or skin and blood vessels. Dogs and such can smell things in an air-tight container because there are traces left on the outside of the container during packaging.

Never watched this but the drug "Joy" sounds a lot like the drug from Lisa the painful.... but instead of turning into a lame zombie you turn into a disgusting and murderous ambulation. Over the counter side affects are pretty brutal. They might cost you an arm and a leg.
its also basically the main plot device of a game called "we happy few" based on a society hooked on miricle pills called joy that made everyone happy n kinda hive mind like. i felt like the whole drug thing is lazy writing and uninspiring.

If they see mostly negative, then no shit they're even giving it 10 minutes of their time, just pile onto whatever the last guy said like a game of telephone where the question is which person down the long line of like minded opinions actually watched it. At this point I'm certain most people haven't given the trailer a chance and are just going off whatever the majority is saying.

In the game Rebuild 3, there's a faction of zombie lovers that sometimes try and sway your colonists to their point of view. If you let it get out of control, they will let zombies in through the walls of your colony

I'd go with Umbrella, if they wanted you dead they wouldn't stop to talk, so there's at least a chance you could survive whatever it is they want. The zombies, not so much.

Start where the fucking story begins dont start half way through then jump around because its "cool". It takes away all the tension from the scenes when theyre kids because we already know everyone fucking dies now since you started it 14 YEARS AFTER THE APOCOLYPSE . Shit gets me so riled up

@@Overlore03 One episode is far more than most are willing. They'll usually base their entire opinion on this show by the first trailer or the first few comments they see. If they see mostly negative, then no shit they're even giving it 10 minutes of their time, just pile onto whatever the last guy said like a game of telephone where the question is which person down the long line of like minded opinions actually watched it.
At this point I'm certain most people haven't given the trailer a chance and are just going off whatever the majority is saying.

I watched three and a half episodes after I just hopped off the series to watch something else. It just made no sense to me and I watched Godzilla Singular Point and that says something.
