I really like the animated one’s difference to the the first. For example, when Spinel gets close to Steven and makes him walk backwards instead of saying it from afar and walking, or how she uses the rejuvenator to curl up into a glowing ball. If the animation was higher quality, it would be perfect.
I think the framing of the show where Spinel walked toward Steven could be better. If it were zoomed in close on them then we would feel claustrophobic like Steven
I like how the reanimated verison has Spinel more “all up” in your face, first person and centred, it’s almost like she’s breaking the 4th wall. Which definitely sounds like something Spinel would do.
I think it’s really interesting that the fan noticed that the show didn’t like showing Spinel at a front angle. I didn’t notice except thanks to this fan animation.
How they got their asses handed to them by a gem who’s never fought before or wasn’t even built for combat is just sad embarrassing disappointing and disgraceful
Spinel is a perfect cut like jasper designed to be fast and strong (so she could keep up with pink diamond while playing) and is able to take the shift shape ability to a level that makes her going against Steven Universe’s law of physic and she also has an op weapon. So yeah, very embarrassing.
This is pretty well done! Some parts just look a tiny bit “stiff” and I think they were afraid of their abilities. Don’t be scared to stretch things and go crazy! ☺️

I actually like The storyboarding of the remake bettter, particularly in the opening. The dynamic camera movements better fit the character. Obviously the fight scenes with all the stretchy stuff is less developed, but I see the vision. It’s not easy to compete with a studio, and they put up a fight

Actually Crystal Gems Pearl(or whatever u call it) probably was White Diamond's pearl, because well White Diamond is the only one who kinda haven't a pearl, and also their gems is located in the same place, like all the pearls has their gems located same as their diamonds. That means Crystal Gems Pearl is White Diamond's pearl not Pink Diamond's pearl.
When she goes up and down at Steven 1:11 keep it as the original. And when she bounces Amethyst 1:27 just keep it original too. 1:40 looks like she’s giant and I mostly like the original, keep it the way it is. I’m done. The parts I like: Eyes looking at them 0:13, I got a new style: 0:30, nose gets hit 1:18, Who am I? 2:04, Stevens balls get kicked 2:25 and that’s about it. That’s the issues and the things I like. 👍🏼
