thank you! let me tell you, this hat i ordered from a company called HOLLAND COUNTRY CLOTHING, its a UK based outdoor store. very good stuff. insanely good prices. the hat brand is called HOGGS OF FIFE. its Scottish type stuff . the hat is wool felted. 100%. it was just 50 bucks shipped and all! that is amazing for a nice wool hat.
yes indeed! the hat is a "hogs of fife" brand . its a wool felt hat. top quality. shipped to my home from the outdoor clothing store called "holland country clothing" near Scottland. it was maybe 50 bucks shipped to my door with DHL, you will love it if you get one. i wear mine from fall to spring.

they probably called your old duster a stockman coat because stockmen are pretty much just the Australian version of cowboys
