As long as the treadle is well oiled, most of the them spin very freely. The biggest issue with treadling is when the balance wheel on the sewing machine is light -- this makes treadling difficult. For example, the 672 has a light aluminium wheel so will be difficult (but not impossible to treadle). I upgrade my machines for treadling to a heavier wheel which is easy.
SO HELPFUL can you instruct please by video . on Janome 808 - been given machine instructions in written Farzi ! Struggling to find out how to use it, - lots embroidery metal equipment came with machine, but need to source some more metal bobbins as only one included, Hoe you can help, thank you.

Do you know if the modifier on Kenmore machines functions the same wa y as in the Janome? Thanks for this great video.
I believe it depends on the model. My 158.1914 works in the same way (+/- on the Janome S/L on the Kenmore).

I think that you mean the pattern cams. In order to get a different pattern, you will pull out the cam in the top and put in a different one.
