What doesn't count: - Selling items to Huang - Taking upgraded tools / commission items from blacksmith. - Shipping. - Buying Flower Vase and Apples from Huang during his visits. Do this in conjunction with the horse race trick and you can get 2-3m in the first spring, that's what I did.. kinda ruined the game experience though, money solves almost everything in the game.
(SORRY FOR BAD ENGLISH) For those who playing on the Steam, i was late to know this trick as I already played until the middle of summer. BUT, no worries guys. You still be ABLE to use this trick after VAN visit your house (how to unlock this, make sure give the Goddess her fav stuff daily). VAN visited my FARM on the middle of Autumn. And I started to use the trick at the middle of Autumn until now (Winter). My Gold currently 2Million. Make sure after VAN visited you in the morning, then you save the game, before you make the transactions. I made 10 transactions daily, it DOESN'T REQUIRE on the same store, as long as you make 10 transactions then go to sleep. You will get a mail the next day with "CONGRATULATIONS" title. =)
*Very Important! If you have problem with getting Vans Favorite:* Selling Animals, adds 1 to the counter compared to Huang. This can confuse a lot of player when they try or have figured their counter.

@Achza S No, once you find your exact increment count. You can go back to doing an increment of 10. You receive Van's Favorite if you end your previous day on a purchase of an increment of 10. Ex 10 20 30 and so on. So, if you accidentally pass the first increment of 10, then you need to continue onto the next one if you make an mistake. I hope this clear things up.

There is a trophy in-game for giving all bachelors and bachelorettes preserved flowers. Also, apparently all trophies are per game not per save, meaning you can have multiple saves and the trophies collect from playing all saves.

Sure, I'd love to help! So after you brought 5 and it worked at the first day, that means your count is now at 10. And then yeah, once you confirmed you count is at 10 on that day, you have to buy items 10 times everyday (exactly 10). Hopefully this helps!!💖😊

So if we buy something 5 times and get van's favorite, tomorrow we must buy 5 times again to get the van's fav? Limiting us for just 5 transaction everyday? or if the next day we do 10 times transaction, would ruin the flow? :( kinda confused here
You get the Van's favorite every time the counter is set to 10. So if you had to buy 5 items today, it set the counter to ten. So you need to buy 10 items the next time so it stays at multiples of 10 which guarantees you get the Van's Favorite.
@@xelovien817 I'm not sure about it working on the first day or not - I've never tested it. I would assume the counter starts at 0, but it might need to be tested.
As long as when you sleep, the counter is 10, you will get the item. So if you buy 5 the first day, and then buy 10 the next day, then your counter is 15 and you won't get the item. If buy 5, and then buy 5 next day, it will work. My recommendation is buy 10 every day so you get van's item daily😊 Hopefully this helps!

Milky has made a video explaining this. But here a quick summary of it. You get Van's Favorite item when you end your day making a purchase on an increment of 10. So a quick way to find your increment is save your game and make purchases in increment of 1 and check the next day for it. If you didn't receive it, reload and make 1 additional purchase and check. (1 successful increment is closing out of the shop each time you make a purchase (s)). Keep doing this until you receive the item. After you successful received Van's Favorite item. You can continue the next day making 10 purchases to get another.
Sure, I'd love to help. I will try to explain better in my next videos too. In order to get it daily, after you get your first van's item(which means your counter is set to 10), you want to buy items 10 times daily. This way, when you sleep, the counter is always 10. So what you are missing is buying another 10 items after you got van's item😊

Yeah, it's because your transaction number is no longer multiple 10, buy one item and then sleep will help you reset it to 10😊 One thing to note is that upgrading house also counts as one transaction.

@@myah3arts062 , I think she mean that the game has a hidden counter to record how many transactions you make, to get Van’S favourite, you need to end the day with multiple of 10. So if the hidden counter records 55 transactions, you need to make 5 more transactions to round up to 60. Next day, do ten transactions to make it 70. You need to look at Milky other comments to see what counts as a transactions. If you accidentally done 11 transactions, to fix it, do 9 transactions before you sleep. Since you don’t see the hidden counter. It can get confusing.
Humm, but I tried the same thing, doing 1 transaction (and on) until I got the van's favorite. The thing is, I didn't get one, even after 10x transaction :(
No problem. The trick is you need to do it daily. Everyday after you get your first van's favorite item, you buy item 10 times a day. 😊 Hopefully this helps!
I just remembered when Huang came to house one morning when I have 5k Gold on my pocket. He sold me a 5k Gold vase and BAM, I'm broke early morning 🤣 Later in the afternoon, I visit Zack's house, got cutscene where Huang said I can now sell things to him. That feeling of unlucky and lucky at one day really amazing 😂😂😂
It’s pretty fun for me right now because I literally just started my playthrough as well. And it seems like when are getting to same cutscenes. Feels like I am sitting and playing the game with Milky.
If you save the game each night before you go to bed. Check the weather the next day to see if there's a storm. If one is coming, reload the game. You can also rinse and repeat using this for rainy days if you like.
Hi Mark, nope, you can keep them instead of selling too. As long as your transaction count is multiple of 10 when sleep, Van's favorite will always show up😊

When I was 11,I got RF4 and pratically fell in love with Vishnal Faster than I thought When I was playing the FoMT remake on Switch,I got a flashback on where I was on my gameboy,always staring at the doctors design,so I decided to Date him first since my childhood self loved him. Then when I was talking to Cliff,I suddenly remember my 11 year old self talking on how cute he is so I decided to Date him on another save file. And the time goes by fast in the remake so,I got to Winter the next day I played. Im so focused on the game that I didnt know it was breakfast time lol. You can say that Im a Farming sim/dating hardcore but I only farm to get rich...enough to get the requirements to get married and I only date so that Ill not be a lonely loser😂

So if we buy something 5 times and get van's favorite, tomorrow we must buy 5 times again to get the van's fav? Limiting us for just 5 transaction everyday? or if the next day we do 10 times transaction, would ruin the flow? :( kinda confused here
You get the Van's favorite every time the counter is set to 10. So if you had to buy 5 items today, it set the counter to ten. So you need to buy 10 items the next time so it stays at multiples of 10 which guarantees you get the Van's Favorite.

As long as when you sleep, the counter is 10, you will get the item. So if you buy 5 the first day, and then buy 10 the next day, then your counter is 15 and you won't get the item. If buy 5, and then buy 5 next day, it will work. My recommendation is buy 10 every day so you get van's item daily😊 Hopefully this helps!

The day after you did the 8 transactions then you should do 10 every day after that.

you can’t buy anything after because that increases the transaction count
You don't need to go straight to sleep but don't buy more items. When the day ends, the item transaction counts need to be multiple of 10 😊

Milky has made a video explaining this. But here a quick summary of it. You get Van's Favorite item when you end your day making a purchase on an increment of 10. So a quick way to find your increment is save your game and make purchases in increment of 1 and check the next day for it. If you didn't receive it, reload and make 1 additional purchase and check. (1 successful increment is closing out of the shop each time you make a purchase (s)). Keep doing this until you receive the item. After you successful received Van's Favorite item. You can continue the next day making 10 purchases to get another.
Sure, I'd love to help. I will try to explain better in my next videos too. In order to get it daily, after you get your first van's item(which means your counter is set to 10), you want to buy items 10 times daily. This way, when you sleep, the counter is always 10. So what you are missing is buying another 10 items after you got van's item😊

Hey Milky, I been getting van favorite everyday by buying 10 things, but its doesn't work anymore after I upgrade my house. Do I need to go back and buy one item and sleep and keep repeat until I get it? Of course I'm gonna save first before I do that.
Yeah, it's because your transaction number is no longer multiple 10, buy one item and then sleep will help you reset it to 10😊 One thing to note is that upgrading house also counts as one transaction.
Does uograding tools also consider 1 transaction?

@@myah3arts062 , I think she mean that the game has a hidden counter to record how many transactions you make, to get Van’S favourite, you need to end the day with multiple of 10. So if the hidden counter records 55 transactions, you need to make 5 more transactions to round up to 60. Next day, do ten transactions to make it 70. You need to look at Milky other comments to see what counts as a transactions. If you accidentally done 11 transactions, to fix it, do 9 transactions before you sleep. Since you don’t see the hidden counter. It can get confusing.

No problem. The trick is you need to do it daily. Everyday after you get your first van's favorite item, you buy item 10 times a day. 😊 Hopefully this helps!

It’s pretty fun for me right now because I literally just started my playthrough as well. And it seems like when are getting to same cutscenes. Feels like I am sitting and playing the game with Milky.
Two days in to summer and I got hit with a Typhoon. Half of my pineapples was destroy. 😩😫😫😫 now 10 days in and I got it again. Ughh such bad luck.
If you save the game each night before you go to bed. Check the weather the next day to see if there's a storm. If one is coming, reload the game. You can also rinse and repeat using this for rainy days if you like.
