This piece was written probably in his tournée and actually this is the piece Paganini preferred the most. This piece is a gem (I’m not saying the the other 5 suck)for its musicality and also for the skills required for it.

I’m pretty sure Paganini only played no. 4 more often because he had exhausted his initial ‘tournée’ repertoire. No. 4 is by far the easiest concerto of the five intact, but its charming melodies make up for whatever pyrotechnics it lacks.
