The orchestra does a magnificent job as does Vengerov but I won't venture to compare it to so many other recordings. Of course, being the brilliant violinist he is, Vengerov would feel obliged to choose the Sauret cadenza. I had never heard this recording and the only thing I might find a little tiresome are the acoustics of Mann Auditorium. Thanks for posting it.
