PT 1 Portland cruise port tour of Weymouth

This is part 1 of 3 of my recommended walking tour of Weymouth from the drop off point for cruise coaches from Portland port.
The whole tour took 3 hours 10 minutes including a stop for lunch.
Allow another hour or so for a tour of the Nothe fort and half an hour if you want to walk to the end of the stone pier. + extra if you want to go on the beach. I am a slow walker so the more sprightly among you will be able to walk much quicker than me.
In this first part we leave the drop off point and walk to Newton's cove and Nothe gardens and fort.
Then down to the harbour side and around the harbour to Bennett's fish and chip shop.
I point out public toilets along the way as well as points of interest.
i have some walking difficulties so I avoid steps and point out the best route available.
Part 2 carries on around the harbour and along the seafront, part 3 is from the seafront and through the town and Hope Square and back to the pick up point.
