Ok, this cool. I was wondering if Vita emulation would ever come to light. After all we have Switch Emulation (a current system) but, didn't have the Vita. Many games use touch features so I could see the compatibly very hit or miss. This is kind of like Wii emulation. You could play a game for hours, then find then there is a motion control and your dead in in the water. Or even WiiU, where you have to blow into the controller. Its bit me a few times. It seems like this has a long way to go to be really powerfull but, I'll check it out for sure...
I used to try play game with motion control on wii emu. But it's terrible experience. I decided to get used wii. It's really worth real experience on real console. I could tell everybody that just use emulator for games that work with normal controller. Like if you want to play game like tearaway on vita. It's better to get vita. We can't have good exprience on emu.
Honestly you don’t need an actual Wii console to counter the motion control issues. You can get a USB sensor bar for your PC, and connect your Wii remote to Dolphin and you can play just like it was a regular Wii. I’ve tried it many times with ease, but because I’m biased & filled with nostalgia you can’t really go wrong actually picking up a used Wii (last time I checked they were BARELY $50)
I really really really hope this emulator can run Freedom Wars someday... Yes yes I know it's "yet another monster hunter clone" but it TRULY had something special, from both a gameplay and community perspective. And unfortunately the devs never brought it over to PS4, it could've been way more successful there if they had brought it over before Monster Hunter World dropped.
damn why did it take so long?? maybe one of the main reasons is that the psvita doesn't have a lot of exclusives, in fact after a quick search I have discovered it has only 36 LOL!
I've seen shinobido 2 in your game list. That might be the only vita game that interest me. Does it works on the SD or should i wait a little bit more before bothering with vita emulation ?

Still waiting on my steam deck. Mainly getting it for emulation I can't wait
Finally I get to play my ps vita games in handheld, anywhere
When emulating Freedom Wars the text in the text boxes doesn't show up. Does anyone know a fix for this
I didn’t know about Vita 3K.
I still have my PS Vita Slim
Can't wait to play all three Vita exclusives on my Steam Deck.
Oh yeah, there was that AMD driver update a few weeks ago where OpenGL games suddenly performed 100% better with less stuttering. I wonder if that has been pushed through to the Steam Deck already.
do you mean on Windows or Linux since i heard that about the Windows AMD OpenGL driver which sucked for a very long time but the Linux driver never sucked so i wouldn't expect such an improvement
I expected more gameplay side by side comparaison to get a better idea of the screen differences
Never had a Vita so this will be fun when I get round to it
OMGGGG PSVITA EMULATION, LETSGOO
I was wondering why more "bigger" youtubers weren't testing this at least making videos on it. I only tried out of curiosity I hope they steam deck's gpu can be used correctly.
When he said his pc specs it feels like he's going Super Saiyan mode
thank you for all the hard work you do on every video. your research is impeccable and has saved me hours of time and I always enjoy seeing the crazy amazing things u do with each console
Is there a Bios File needed for the PSVita?
I have my Vita for all my retro emulation needs. When my Steam Deck gets shipped, it’s going to completely replace my Vita.
Freedom wars seems to be playable now, would you be able to showcase it in your future video? I can't buy the deck from my country
So cool we can finally play PS Vita games on a portable console
Should be pretty cool when I can emulate Uncharted Golden Abyss and Killzone Mercenary at 4K60, still got my Vita but this will be great to preserve some great gems
please do another video on this emulator next time! theres so many more graphically intense games that run well on this emulator. like project diva, persona 4 golden and some other games. awesome video nonetheless!
You can play Persona 4 Golden on Steam
@@franciscobutte i already know that
@@franciscobutte The PS Vita version is better cause it has the concert footage and the animated trailers in it still. The Steam version removed them.
Now we can finally play vita games on the go
Dang I hope that vita emulation steps up now that you’re bringing attention to it. That’s one system I want to emulate but definitely can’t.
holy fhuck. 3ds, nintendo switch, psp, and now the Vita. Steam deck is gaming haven
The Vita only has a small hand full of games worth playing that you can't already play more efficiently elsewhere.
Steam Deck has a touch screen motion control and a built in mic.
@@Tye2K Sensorbar is not necessary. If you have a motion plus everything can be done through the emulator.
@@aftonstjarna_enoch really? I only tried the original Wiimote with it. I’m gonna give it another go then with one of my Wiimotion Plus remotes
What?
WHAT.
WHAT???
Just when I think my steamdeck has done it all it does MORE.
(Too bad there's not a lot of compatible PS VITA games)
damn why did it take so long?? maybe one of the main reasons is that the psvita doesn't have a lot of exclusives, in fact after a quick search I have discovered it has only 36 LOL!
Can you install adrenaline on it? (PSP EMULATOR)
Holy crap wonder if it'll run on an odin in few years so many indie titles
I've been wondering when the world would get around to PSV emulation
I'm excited for that too
Developing an emulator in general seems absolutely insane to me, I have huge respect for the developers and the things they make possible!
I've seen shinobido 2 in your game list. That might be the only vita game that interest me. Does it works on the SD or should i wait a little bit more before bothering with vita emulation ?
Didn't even know there was a working vita emulator
Definitely gonna get this
This is what I wished a vita 2 would have been
I got PsVita3k on my android "OnePlus 8 pro " runs most of the games pretty well
Currently playing P4G & Soul sacrifice D. 60fps
I get theres issues with drivers so therefore have you tested the windows version of the emulator via proton?
trying to set this up and it keeps saying to make sure ive installed emulator properly...
Soul Sacrifice in Vita is a great game
I'll be waiting for the day we can play dungeon travellers 2 on PC.
Hey Prime! Question could you do a tutorial on how to remote play from the PS5 to the steamDeck? Please!!
I want to emulate several versions of android (5, 7, and 11) in Steam OS, but when I look for anything on TH-cam all I find is the android emulation in windows video on this channel. Is there a good way to emulate android from within Steam OS itself??
