@@GodzillathekingKongbane Not necessary durable, do you remember when the ship bombarded him in the air he can dodge it easily as if he can levitate, that's how he slowed his speed before hit the ship
note: The person's name was garou, and after receiving a fraction of GOD's power, he was given the power to build hyperspace gateways. Garou attempted to flee as Saitama threw punches at him from all sides, but saitama had already arrived at the other end of the gate, so you'd need to be quick to find where it is. Saitama had also created multiple after images that Garou can't track of
In his fight with Cosmic Garou, Saitama was moving much much faster than Garou. So fast that even while fighting against Garou who was already moving much faster than light, he was still seeing Saitama in multiple places at once
Dont forget that when Garou teleports from Jupiter to Earth to leave him behind, Saitama is already there waiting. Easily star trek lvl speeds. Warp 3.0 or higher easily...
Garou's punches were light speed they caused nuclear explosions . Not only that , but they also circled around one of Jupiter's moons , which is 1.5 times bigger than Earth, for around 80 times per second. Making them around 5.1/3 faster than the speed of light.
yup he create afterimages that act like kagebunshin in naruto. in one panel, garou chased by saitama into the portal but halfway looking at endportal, saitama already prepared to punch him with his after images. and we can see saitama still behind garou ready to punch too. i cant even describe what level is this feat.
Not how that works Boros kneed him with enough force to send him to the moon, while saitama traveled back by employing his own speed combined with his force
@@jaoofy that is indeed how it works. Boros kneed Saitama to the moon employing his own speed combined with his force to launch saitama beyond light speed. From a physics standpoint, saitamas feet pressing off the surface of the moon and boros knee striking saitama operate the same, the speed and power (force) used by the limb(s) in question act together to generate a “work” output. Boros struck saitama to the moon equally as fast as saitama returned, (they are both shown to be nearly instantaneous with neither taking considerably longer than the other) and from the instant saitama leaves boros knee he starts decelerating, meaning that however fast saitama was jettisoned to the moon (which has already been shown to be beyond light speed) Boros knee was moving faster at the moment it impacted saitama. Im not really sure what you mean when you say that’s not how it works to the statement “Boros kneed saitama to the moon at beyond light speed,” when that’s 100 percent correct and your fallacious argument doesn’t contradict that.
What's even more impressive is that he could perform this feat with 100% accuracy. He did the calculations required to instantly travel that distance and land exactly where he wanted just by tossing a rock in his hand. It wasn't just a feat of physical strength, It showed that his brain can function on the level of a supercomputer.
@@HazmattMorningstarI'm pretty sure basic trigonometry is something almost all Japanese students learn and Saitama definitely learnt it. So it's not improbable.
@Hazmatt yup, because these are subconscious calculations. It's the same concept as throwing a baseball. Your brain does subconscious calculations that help you accurately throw a ball with the intended trajectory. I'm sure there are a ton of baseball players that would fail those same tests describing the math behind how they throw a ball. Its kind of hard to describe, but his brain can perform subconscious calculations on par with a supercomputer. You wouldn't be able to translate it onto paper, but your brain knows what it's doing.
I mean, to be fair, if you have a decent understanding of physics, you don't need to do any calculations if you can just kinda get a feel for how things move.
@@optimisticwatermelon Tbh the moon wouldn't have moved that far in retrospective it was more so just the aim that Saitama had that was crazy but either way it wasn't astronomically low
Yeah, Saitama moves faster than light. When he was losing his hair he wanted to see the back of his head in the mirror, but only had 1 mirror. So he was spinning real fast. Powered up, and actually got to see the back of his head when he turned around.
@@infinityspoiler get it right. He insists on being called "speed of sound sonic". Quite redundant really. But his "after images" weren't fooling saitama so it definitely wasn't as fast as what saitama's capable of.
Boros can fight at speed of light which was confirmed by One which is not even that impressive. Saitama while fighting Cosmic Garou both were much MUCH faster than light. Same goes to Blast being able to react to TWO 100% serious punches and even TELEPORT THEM. That already makes Blast much faster and stronger than boros.
If we imagine Saitama weighs about 70kg (154lbs) and he travels at 99% the speed of light and when he hit's Boros' ship he stops within 1 meter (about the length of his legs), he would impact the ship with approximately 20x the force of the bomb that took out Hirosima. Saitama arriving from the moon would have devastated the whole city.
He absorbed all that kinetic energy in his knees like it was nothing. In the manga he literally tanks nukes and blacks holes that are mixed together then knocks garou around One of Jupiter’s moons so fast that the light beams he is creating don’t have time to disappear and covers the whole moon.
And thats the thing so many people forget when looking at his feats, HE'S. NOT. EVEN. TRYING. Like he's doing all this without even breaking a sweat and then people wanna compare him to other characters when they're pushing themselves to their absolute limit
@@Chadius_Thundercock Garou was copying his strength, and yet we can see how his power keeps growing during the fight with Garou, Garou himself says something like: "His power keeps on growing". Garou had the same power Saitama has, but for some reason Saitama started growing much much faster than Garou did, even though Garou should technically be as strong as Saitama and grow just as fast.
@@thefinalprince3107 Ikr. But still, they are not his biggest. He needs someone more powerfull to push him even further, and since he is limitless, there is no peak to his strength.
@@aminequadi7001 That’s not what being limitless means. Being limitless means to be able to increase your power via training or fighting without having a plateau effect on it. It’s actually one of the biggest Shounen tropes, with characters like Luffy, Ichigo, Goku etc having such. As for Saitama going all out. There is a panel where he says he is going all out against an opponent who can stand up to his attacks, and that he should feel excited. So you could say Saitama wasn’t bloodlusted, but he also doesn’t the “infinite power” that people love to falsely claim. If you were able to read to here then congrats 😅
Even more impressive to me is the fact that he moved so quickly and was able to decelerate fast enough to only leave a small crater instead of nuking the planet, that's incredible
Murata (artist for OPM manga) once tweeted that same gif with light bouncing between Earth and Moon and stated that this was about the speed at which Saitama was launched to the moon.
Not even the first time he goes lightspeed too. One of the bonus manga things showed him wanted to see the back of his head or something. Instead of getting 2 mirrors like a normal person, he just keeps turning his head until he does it fast enough to see his reflection before his reflection turns around. Your reflection is literally just reflected light, so he had to actually beat the speed of light to see the reflection of the back of his head before it turned.
I think the Moon jump is super underrated. The Moon has almost the same size as Australia, which means Saitama can shatters an entire continent by just JUMPING
This could also spark up the theory that Saitama is made out of pure energy Since every form of matter turns into energy when travelling at light speed, this would mean Saitama is composed of something other than matter, since he is seemingly unaffected by the sheer force inflicted onto an object travelling that fast.
@@adityaagrawal5407 More like the writers made him as a joke character to be the most powerful being that exists in anything forever, Because they were making fun of superman and how over powered heroes are becoming.
my personal theory is that he's so strong that he can bend space around him at his will, giving him faster than light speed and the ability to kick a fckin space portal
More like: Every history has an internal logic wich must not always follow real life logic, we are talking about a series created by the same that published Mob Psycho 100% is not always mediocricy is just: it does'nt have to work that way unless proven otherwise
i think saitama is FTL because he traveled from jupiter to earth with the momentum created by his fart but what if he do serious jump it'll be instantaneous
I hope can finally experience the full extent of his power in the next season. So far he has been toying with everyone. He needs excitement in his life
Most impressive part of this fight isn't the moon part. It's that his serious punch was dulled by boros' star cannon, a move designed to obliterate planets, and still had the force to cut half of the earth's sky.
Whenever he creates multiple after images of himself he's essentially moving faster than the speed of light multiple times over effectively putting himself in several places at once.
Don't forget that if boros can launch Saitama to moon in just about 2 seconds, then Boros himself can travel at more than speed of light, man was literally melting alien substance with his speed, Boros trully was a God warrior.
Bro anime Saitama and Boros is not as fast as speed of light bruh and also if you can travel fast as speed of light then you wouldn't be able to see urself while traveling with a speed of light +No scientific explanation
You can also consider that he has to be extremely heat and pressure resistant to reenter the atmosphere, as well as capable of exerting an otherworldly level of braking force to stop himself from simply destroying the earth on arrival.
What I find even more impressive is that the kick which sent Saitama to space actually made him hit the moon. You know how unlikely that is if you don't specifically aim for it?
He breaks reality while fighting garou's final form and starts fighting him like he's a loony toon. It's possible that's what he uses to avoid setting off an atomic bomb by accidentally farting too hard in his sleep.
@@Jacobe2of4 he doesn’t break reality he just uses jokes breaking reality would be way more complex than even universe destroying hell gogeta and Broly when fighting didn’t break reality and they changed the playing field to damn lava in seconds and went to another dimension thing saitama just farted and moved faster than light or moved so fast he created afterimages of himself
@@eoghanjones9042 in the final garou Saitama grabs portals that garou creates to send his fists through to hit Saitama and just flings them around. None of his powers before that point have to do with directly altering reality. Then he goes back in time after the fight.
All Boros had to do was launch him in a direction above the escape velocity on Earth where he would never hit anything for a long time. He could've won on Earth too then.
That’s not a good defense, you know how anime and manga logic, we get whole monologues of the past, friendship, back stories, and move explanations while someone is doing a move. “ oh no, he countered my upper cut and now he’s about hit me with a finishing blow. I’m going to need to redirect my attack and reposition myself “ ( all that in .100th of a second )
I like how playful ONE gets with physical feats of Saitama. His most recent feat, the table flip, was incredible. The amount of strength and speed required to perform is not feasible to conceive.
@@5hans1995 sorta sorta. He destroyed half of a satellite body with a one handed table flip. With no evidence he has ever done it, just knew he could do it. Whereas he was taught the teleport from Garou. Someone who couldn't conceive doing the Serious Table Flip or keep up with him.
And it's even more insane when you remember he started to toss a rock in order to use the right amount of strength when he jumped not to destroy the moon, meaning he can go faster
Spoiler warning: In chapter 166 Saitama seemed to travelled from the sun to the earth under 5 second the distance between the sun and earth is 8 light minutes which is 480 light second so he travelled 480/5 = 96 times the speed of light keep in mind this is approx value.
@@anugrahpawar4486 That portal almost dodge all of his omni directional punches. And gauro grew alot so this punch was really strong. And saitama went into the portal to gauro with a fart. I think thats more impressive.
@@Iiqourice If there is an enemy whose gimmick is copying and surpassing his opponents that said enemy will never ever catch up to him. This is because Saitama exponentially surpasses his current limits and thus can never be beat since he has turned into the "hero that can defeat any opponent with one punch." This operates in the worlds logic so Saitama its conceptually the strongest there will always be and continues to evolve each moment. It would require an enemy with reality rewriting to defeat him.
@@oliv4166 reality warping ability shouldn’t affect him too. The core design of his character is for him to beat every single opponent. He was literally made to be unbeatable unless if the author decide otherwise.
@@iarguewithgoofies7355 any portion is literally a portion of the universe. you can destroy a rock and thats technically still destroying a portion of the universe.
There is even better thing in some bonus manga: Saitama managed to look at the back of his head in the mirror by turning his head so quickly that he broke barrier of light. Basically he didn't know that it's impossible, so he did it anyway.

But remember Boros kicked him to the moon at light speed as well
That’s what I was thinking
Not how that works
Boros kneed him with enough force to send him to the moon, while saitama traveled back by employing his own speed combined with his force
@@jaoofy You slow 🤣
Not to mention he never took dmg

His brain can function on the level of a supercomputer, but he fails a written test on the superhero applications.
@@HazmattMorningstarI'm pretty sure basic trigonometry is something almost all Japanese students learn and Saitama definitely learnt it. So it's not improbable.
@Hazmatt yup, because these are subconscious calculations. It's the same concept as throwing a baseball. I'm sure there are a ton of baseball players that would fail those same tests describing the math behind how they throw a ball.

Boros can fight at speed of light which was confirmed by One which is not even that impressive. Saitama while fighting Cosmic Garou both were much MUCH faster than light. I always love when he realizes he’s on the moon. Then he decides to hold his breath like a kid jumping in the pool . 😆
This foreshadows that he can time travel which is only possible at the speed of light
That was technique
If we imagine Saitama weighs about 70kg (154lbs) and he travels at 99% the speed of light and when he hit's Boros' ship he stops within 1 meter (about the length of his legs), he would impact the ship with approximately 20x the force of the bomb that took out Hirosima.
