it's nice to hear you managed to find new friendships here on youtube, i know what you mean by loosing friends due to health, as someone who also suffers fibro [and some other stuff on top] i know how hard it gets, and how stressful it can become when people simply don't understand you, they think you are fine because, well you look fine v.v anyway thank you for your videos i have been enjoying them greatly over last few weeks while colouring ;) it feels like colouring with a friend
My husband got it and his memory is also giving him grief. He will argue with on the weirdest things and he is certain that he has it down but he does not and when for some reason or other the reality hits him in the face….it scares the B-Jesus out of him. Your page looks WOW! I am new mostly to your channel and so happy to have found you. I have some of those distress inks but haven’t been using them….they seem to scare me but what you have done with that background is astounding and……I have that ruddy book! So I need to get my hind quarters in gear.

My Dad used to read me stories and tell stories he imagined, he , sometimes, bless his soul, fell asleep in the middle of the story! It was not a problem, I told him how his made up stories ended. Wonderful memories.

I so enjoy you Lucy! I always learn and appreciate the effort. I too have lost friends due to illness and having to take care of myself. My life had to change and still is changing. I love the coloring community and feel safe here. I am finally finishing pictures and keeping them instead of putting them in the trash. I am slow and it takes time to get techniques down. I LOVE this book! I usually exclusively do portraits and I don't really love the Hanna Karlzon/ Maria Trolle style. But my husband bought me this as it was new and I really dont even like Amazon paper... but this book is adorable I love this pictures and style. I hadn't given a look to the Tiny Homes and Steampunk houses books but this style is so much fun for a pressure free fun color. I love to see you use this!! Thank you!! Also I agree, your talent is beautiful to watch but your ramblings only adds to the fun of your videos 💛

Hi just want to see how relaxing your videos are. I'm really enjoying catching up on your videos. I'm new to colouring. Originally I started colouring as a step in to my art work that I've nit done in a long time. However I'm really enjoying colouring its fun and also gives me a chance to be a little daring. Also wanted to say I had to give up my work a few years ago now as I suffer CFS and just couldn't manage. These days I'm doing better but my brain fogs still here some days worse than others. I can't remember object's, names, forget sentences you name it. My family now make a joke of it now lol. I took a few weeks to get over covid aswell but it didn't set me back to much which was what I was originally worrying about. Thank you for your easy style its certainly keeping me interested. Is it Chronic Fatigue you have? I had that many years ago and from time to time if I try to outstretch myself it does come back. I love the way you do what you do . My memory is also dreadful, but at 74 I put that down to age. Iv been saying for ages 73 and it only dawned on me yesterday that since the later part of July I am actually 74! And my husband is 76 in February he will be another year older! Where does it go, it’s scary how fast the days, months and years go!
I am thinking of removing the 2nd copy from the book and using it to make copies on better paper, seems it would be so much better to color on, what think you?

Does the ink soak through the page?
Not usually, but good idea to test in the back. It is water based, but not watery. Hope that makes sense!
