HOW I COLOUR: WITH ALCOHOL MARKERS | OHUHU MARKERS | Adult Colouring

I have been asked to share with you all how I colour using alcohol markers in colouring books, and specifically in RJ Hampson’s A Frog’s Tale. In this video, I am finally getting round to sharing this with you all. I have been enjoying colouring with alcohol markers at the moment, so I am glad to share my techniques with you all.
I will be using Ohuhu markers, the Honolulu series, and all colours I choose to use on this page will be from their 120 set.
The colours I will be using are listed below (and shared on screen):
BG4, BG68, PB9
GY172, GY1, G2
GY7, GY5, GY4
GG1, GG3, GG9, Y3
R21, R23
Y3, Y1, Y2, YR3
R24, R25, P4
At the end of the ‘How I Colour’ section of the video, I will share how I complete the rest of the page as a speedcolouring and share the pencil colours I use on screen - I will be using the Faber Castell Albrecht Dürer pencils (colours match up to polychromos) below:
Background - 153, 156, 154, 157, 101
Greens - 266, 166, 103, 267, 249, 263, 278, 174, 168, 103, 157
Flowers 1 - 249, 181, 101
Flowers 2 - 194, 125, 128, 101
Bird - 274, 272, 271, 101, 186, 187, 176, 199, 230
Fish - 117, 109, 103

I have always. Found it difficult to do the background first. My brain says no. I like to see how the rest of the picture turns out…then decide. I love watching your videos, always learning something new ❤

Thank you for this new lesson. Most of my colouring books are double sided, so I have never purchased alcohol markers. I stick mostly to prismacolour pencils and water colours paints and crayons. At this point I am pretty good at matching something close to your watercolour pencils. But I love watching you colour. 🌸🌼🌺
Lovely. FYI - alcohol markers blend better with saturation. That’s partly why the third method worked best. Great video!

Loved your tutorial. I have been very intimidated by my alcohol markers.
Your eye for color selection and color combinations is a gift. Thank you, great tips and excellent video. Instead of paper to block bleed through, I use an acetate sheet, seems to allow for better blending as my paper doesn’t dry too quickly (always a problem here in dry Arizona😢).

The frog in front of the fireplace is one of my favorites that you have done!! I love the reflected firelight everywhere and I feel like I am sitting right next to him in the cozy room! Have you tried the tip to tip method to get a good blend? Coloring moon always does it and it turns out AMAZING. I've tried it and just can't get the hang of it

Very thin, poor quality.
My nose is sensitive so the smell irritates me. I can’t do a whole page only bits and pieces.
