I was scoffed at when I bought my 2023 Pro 4x in November (my first ever brand new vehicle). People said it was old, outdated, not enough tech. Seems a lot are going to the Frontier now thanks in part to Toyota haha. I love the truck, it's simple, feels and drives like a truck and engine and transmission after some initial glitches, are proving reliable.
@magnoliap5824 What year Pathfinder. I'd love to have a used one as a second/other vehicle. Not a fan of Nissan cars, but trucks and some SUVs are decent. Nothing with the CVT basically haha.
Have the same truck except a 2022 4x4. Absolutely love it. It's solid as a drum, quiet, smooth, powerful, smooth shifting, 44,000 miles, no issues, no rattles or squeaks, the perfect truck for me. Great review by the way.
Your video is great! You cover a lot of the features. I just bought a 2024 Pro-4X as I traded in my 2021 SR5 Tacoma with 14k on the clock. I hated that truck and it was my third Toyota truck. The gear hunting was driving me insane! Whenever I pushed on the accelerator, the engine would wind up to almost 6k. I didn't see that truck lasting me like my other two Toyotas. The build quality was poor. The doors sounded like a tin can when you shut them. The Nissan is miles ahead of the Toyota. Now I can say that I really enjoy driving my truck.
Cool truck love the old school styling none of the stuff like in the turbo counterparts truck like this will last a long time great job Kenny as usual 🥊🥊🥊🥊🙏🏻🇺🇸👍👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I bought a 2024 SV 4X4 crew cab earlier this year with the long bed, came with technology and convenience packages. My wife and I absolutely love this truck. It's a pleasure to drive, has plenty of power, and is quiet. The only gripes I have (and they're minor) are the halogen headlights (come on, Nissan, it's 2024!), and the stock stereo which is ok if you like listening to sports and news but if you really like listening to music, it's average at best.
I have the 2024 SV crew cab 4X4. I’m averaging 21.8 mpg and that’s hauling a bed full of tools. Several times a week ,I’m pulling a 16’ trailer. 😮 Better than I ever expected. My only gripe are the mirrors are too small and too close to the body. I have a hard time seeing my trailer . Other than that, I love ❤️ this truck.😊
Looking at Frontier or Canyon and wondering how everyone complains about the Steering, how your wife feels about it since my wife would be driving the Truck too. Apprecite the Video but actual Owners give the best Feedback
Was going to purchase one of these until I went on a test ride with my wife. She sat on the back some I drove as I need a comfortable rear seat for our family and friends. When we switched for her to drive I sat in the back. After the test drive we wrote it off just like you commented. I felt like I was being folded in half. End result.... We will be buying a Ford Ranger XLT once the 2.7l comes out. This is all coming from someone with a 2017 Ridgeline....FWIW
The new Ranger is definitely nice and very comfortable.. The 2.7 is also a solid engine as well. Just wondering why you aren't looking at another Ridgeline?
Great review Kenny! That is a lot of truck for the $$. I see it being more of a work truck whereas I see the Ridgeline as a daily drive and family truck. Hoping that you are doing great!
This is one of the few videos of the RWD Frontier SV and I just purchased one. I was surprised at how big it was when it almost didn't fit in my garage.
Fellow Ridgeline buddy! Yours is only 16 years newer than mine 🤣. The Ridgeline is a very hard vehicle to beat. It has the utility of a truck, but the ride of a car.. Also very reliable.. Love them
Honda has one of the best awd systems currently (awd, not 4wd, there's a difference). My wife had a 22 passport and I couldn't believe how capable that thing was. Best vehicle we ever had in the snow
@Laptops1781 can't even burn Rubber in that pos. Not a truck unless you can do burnouts. Any fwd baised awd is crap and not as reliable won't handle the abuse that the frontier could
I have a 2023 Frontier SV King Cab with both the tech and convenience package. No problems so far. Personally, I love the styling both inside and out. The only thing I wish it had was the forward-facing camera with 360 view that comes on the Pro-X. Would make parking a bit easier.
My truck, 2024 fronrier, had a slight knocking noise from the engine, until the oil heated to it's maximum temperature. This was a brand new truck. Yes, it felt solid and I hope the best for all owners, but I got rid of mine quick. Buyers...pay close attention to those engines before purchasing.
@@703Speed considering how much everything else has increased you're right. The average MSRP has gone up 33% in 2 1/2 years so apparently Nissan isn't as bad as all the other companies in regards to inflating prices
I like a lot of what the Frontier offers, but to be a little nit picky the tailgate lock not on the fob is going to be frustrating, and a bigger issue IMO is no availability of LED type reflector bulb headlights in the SV convenience pack, Halogens are really inadequate and at around 40G's too.
Well I’m a little disappointed that the secret is out. I have a 2012 that’s still rock solid. Now people are realizing how good they are tha prices are gonna go up.

It doesn’t have dual climate control because it’s not a fully loaded truck. You’re comparing that to a cheaper somewhat of a truck Maverick that doesn’t have a frame and doesn’t have a V6 so it’s gonna cost less to get a maverick.

Just purchased a Pro x. Blown away by the quality and refinement. So much nicer than my Tacoma and way better fuel mileage. Fully loaded 45k.

A V6 is much better than a turbo 4. But it’s a nice truck overall. 👍🏻
