Small nitpicky correction at 12:03, Zhongli's pillar has an extremely high lifetime and will not disappear by the time you dash to the second skull. The reason c0 works is that tap E always generates a pillar (only hold E is conditional)
People that say that hyperbloom its mid or outdated are crazy. My alt f2p account runs Nahida+Kuku+C5 XQ+ whatever (for a long time I used a lvl 20 Barbara) and never fails to clear 1 side of the abbys.
Real. I also have a f2p account and my nahida, xq (C2), yelan and em raiden/kuki team has never let me down. Absolutely chews through pretty much any content lmao
Mid ≠ trash. Hyperbloom is just ok, it performs great at low investment but it just has lower damage ceiling at higher investment when you compare it to other teams.
I used Amber on a burning team for the Papilla + Aeonblight fights. Her burst crushed the Papilla ward (it hits 18 times) and she served as my archer for Aeonblight. Had her hold Deepwood on the team.
Honestly I think 5.3 will be easier than 5.2. The elemental checks are not as hard, Suanni is a lot easier to pass than Wolflord without the right element. 2/3 of the bottom half is literally just hitcount shields, and we will get pyro traveler for free as an easy way to deal with them. The HP amount (6.73M in chamber 1) is the highest in history but really the DPS check in abyss is the easiest check. Even 10M HP / 180s would be 55.6k dps, in an era where 100k dps is very reachable for low 5* pull count investment

Some people are so annoying in the comments trying. It's not that you can't clear this abyss with other characters, but that this abyss clearly was heavily designed with characters in mind already, mitigating other teams possibility. Theres a lot of video of people clearing this abyss with like, Ninnguang, Barbara, Noelle and Xingqiu in 1st half but they're at least honest and say the amount of tries it got for those teams (it can spam around 50 attempts to 400) 1st half was made with Hydro and Geo in mind, with Hydro being able to hit the Dragon Boss. 2nd half was made with Elemental Application/Natlan~Nightsoul in mind. Those "requirements" to deal with the mechanics of the enemies tends to cut a lot of units and teams out of pictures. Tbh the only good thing is that sparked some creativity, I myself tested teams that i never thought like Burning Wanderer, lol.
PSA to all Mualani haver : For the dragon in 2nd chamber there's unique tech to deal with the Dragon even when the dragon STILL FLY HIGH. Tap your skill and when Mualani still surfing, jump near the dragon and just tap attack 1 time. The jumping chomp actually HOMING to the dragon. After mualani land, jump again and tab attack again. Rinse and repeat until Mualani skill end. Ideally you also need 1 more hydro to significantly dmg the shied when it begin to hover near the ground. Zajef mention it very briefly in the end of video. It's hilarious but it's working.
I found that kinda finnicky especially with the boss moving around so much, though I didn't specifically know the tech so I didn't make the conscious decision to implement it. I more or less played by the game's rules by using the normals to break the ground mines and then surf on the boss when it was near the ground. Annoying, but you only really need to do it once as once it's down the boss melts to the fully powered assault of a Mualani team
@Elven_Red it's finnicky indeed but this funny tech are helping my Mualani team to shave off the shield in flying phase which usually a down time for most team that not using Furina. The MVP actually Candace in my team. When the dragon start it phase near the ground, burst and do a bit hydro infused NA and quick swap to release hydro wave. Well my Candace are build to support Mualani which she have 40HP and 199ER so when the dragon got down I can immediately battery Candace with quick comp from Mualani then start my usual rotation.
1:55 That dragon should be deleted. It's an out of bounds flying enemy in a ground-based combat game. It does unavoidable damage in a game where your shields and heals often require hitting the enemy to EXIST. It's so out of bounds even bows and catalysts can't hit it consistently. It has such a tanky shield basically your only option is using a hydro bow, 3% of characters have a hydro bow. When a game's systems crash into each other, the player is always in the middle suffering the consequences, which means your game is designed like trash. If you design a game to be only playable when you choose to do 1% of the possible actions, when you're in a 1% chance scenario, your game just became 99.99% obsolete garbage, do the math.
I know right? Genshin has been making enemies that require using specific mechanics to beat them. The shields are a testament to that. However, no mechanic thus far has been so egregious as this bird's. It's just stall impact with no depth whatsoever because everything depends upon if you have the characters or not. You have furina or yelan? You win. You don't? You are going to suffer massively. I genuinely feel discouraged even trying to clear abyss as of late because of this design.
@@skoverton5553 It comes down for a 2 second period basically. I do agree that it can be taken down, but you will need at the very least half a minute. While doing that you will have to heal and defend against nearly unavoidable damage while not being able to generate almost any energy since you can't hit it.
I've been REALLY sick for the last few days and taking care of my also sick daughter and wife; when I gave up trying to work and went to bed, I got thr youtube notification. Zajef really is the best youtuber
this abyss is annoying because there really isn't a good team you can build that will crush a side. for example, i've been beating the abyss for a long time now with my teams... nahida, nilou, nueve, and baizhu navia, bennett, furina and xilonen (before xilo's release this was either layla or xianyun) these two teams have been crushing the abyss for me since Navia's release. this time though my first time through i only 35 starred it coming in with just 2 stars on 12.2. the reason? well the creatures flipped too much, what matched up well in 12:1 and 12:3 stopped matching in 12:2, and i realized to my shock that flipping the teams would be needed to 3 star 12:2... the first time in a while i didn't 36 star it in one try. i think the last time that happened was when they had the fatui(i think?) squad in 12.1 that seemed to be one shotting some of my characters causing the run to reset. ended up swapping up my abyss strat just for that by using alhaithem and his agrivate team instead of the nilou team, for 12.1, cleared the abyss with like 33 stars, swapped back in the nilou team, didn't worry about 3 staring 12:1, and got the rest of the stars.
4.7 and 3.7 were slightly harder than this imo. 3.7 was hard bc of the hydro heralds + cryo lecters combo. That drains stamina and hits hard and freezes you. Meanwhile 4.7 was the worst bc you needed to get rid of 2 pyro lecters in the middle wave and then STILL had to kill the 2 serpent knights after that.
Thank you for making this video. Even though I’m fortunate enough as a dolphin to have every Natlan character and all of the impactful Fontaine ones, I know tons of others don’t. This is definitely also just helpful in learning the mechanics of the enemies to beat them efficiently and 36 star!
How are you a meta slave but aren’t grinding? 😂 (For context of the emoji, I’m just wondering how a meta slave is not desperately doing overworld artifact routes or attempting to tryhard Abyss with booking or other speedrun tactics. Most people I find that self-declare or present as meta slaves are under the misconception that losing the Abyss 36 star sweep challenge means your account is deleted or other embarrassing consequence.)
@@studiesinflux1304yeah whenever the thought of I'm not doing it crosses my mind I am sent to a realm where all my 36 star streak from 2.1 is lined up like that one scene from avatar
The dragon is so annoying man. And the Pupilla too. Like, the only content we have is Abyss and they made it so restricted that even this mode has really low replay value, expecially if you don't have too many characters.
Endgame being, hard? I started playing in 4.0 and my 5 star rooster can acomodate all restrictions since 4.5 (my first 36 star abyss) till this day 36 star in abyss, full f2p, no 5 star weapon (even the standarts I only have 2).
I agree. I have like 66 characters all maxed all built but like you said abyss like this have low replay value cause I don’t have the desire to go back in for fun with different teams. You have to be very specific instead of having fun trying this team and that team to beat it. I hate when they do that. It’s like all the money people spend to get insanely strong characters and constellations and all of that means nothing when they put certain restrictions on your gameplay
one thing annoying about abyss is that you need to play first part of the floor everytime you mess timing with purple tree. It has to be fixed but i dont think it will be
hoyo fixed this in ZZZ (you dont need to repaly first half) so maybe later... but i don't see it coming cos it will make abyss a lot easier when abyss is already not that difficault as endgame
@@Eva-pn1yi ya i get what you mean but it is not a good way to make game difficult. There are way to make game exciting difficult, but right now it is annoyingly difficult
Yun jin fully charged skill will destroy the wolf skull which cool down lines up by the time you run to the next skull (with the constellation that reduce the skills cool down)
Yup Yunjin used to be my go to whenever Wolflord reared it's ugly head (literally) in abyss, but nowadays she doesn't really fit any team and the dps check is too high to bring along "dead weight" unlike in the past. Even bringing a gearless Ningguang was viable in the 2.X/3.X era.
This abyss proved to me that either this game is extremely hard, my builds are awful, or I have a SERIOUS skill issue, lol. I only barely managed to get 36 stars with 8 meta characters and good abyss cards. (Neuvi, Kazuha, Furina, Zhongli first half and Nahida, Xingqiu, Shinobu, Fischl second half). Edit: I was proud of myself for figuring out how Zhongli works with the wolflord. His pillar doesn't actually despawn quickly enough to be practical, so what you have to do is let the wolflord's attacks break it. I did: a) place pillar beside the first head b) burst on the second head c) wait until after the wolflord's circles-on-the-ground attack before placing pillar beside third head (or else that attack will break it). Edit 2: I'm a fool and forgot that Zhongli's tap E respawns the pillar. I'm so used to hold E, lol!
I struggled with this Abyss cycle considerably more than others. After some trial and error I ended up using: First half - Neuvi + Kazuha + Xilonen + Furina Second half - Clorinde + Nahida + Zhongli + Fischl I was really worried about the Clorinde aggravate team being enough, but it ended up working remarkably well against the Tenebrous Papilla in Chamber 2. Then it took me a few restarts to remember the Golden Wolflord mechanics. All in all, this was probably the second hardest Abyss I can remember (the first being one of the Pyro Lector ones). I barely finished Chambers 1 and 3 within time.
i did both floor in first try with Furina, Xilo, Yelan, Noelle and Fischl, Zhongli, Nahida, Clorinde. Haven't bothered to try it with dif char ever since that first run thinking that this abyss suks, suprised some actually struggled on it.
19:28 as the rest of the video, C6 Fischl glazing was top notch, OF COURSE the guy diden't destroyed the shield, Bennett barely do 2 instances of elemental dmg, Chevreuse has a decent number of hits but she has limit, that plus Arlechinno doing 1 hit per second. If instead of Chevreuse he used Xinqjiu for example, clearly would destroy it
I actually had a blast with this Abyss and got to try out a whole bunch of new and old teams alike, despite the restrictions. And oh the fun I had being able to bring Yoimiya again to the 2nd half! Also, if you're struggling with the flower's shield and all the other standard recommendations (nightsoul, burn, taser, hyperbloom, C6 Fischl, Dori, XQ/Yelan) don't work for you, Venti's burst alone shreds like half the shield. In the end I cleared with: 1st half: Noelle+Furina+Gorou+Yunjin | Navia+Bennett+Furina+Xilonen | Raiden+Sara+Furina+Xilonen | Neuvi+Furina+Kazuha+Xilonen 2nd half: Yoimiya+Fischl+Yelan+Zhongli | Alhaitham+Kuki+Nahida+Yelan | Nahida+Kuki+Fischl+XQ | Nahida+Kuki+XQ+Kirara | Arle+Ben+Yelan+Xilonen | Ganyu+Ben+Nahida+Zhongli | International
@@ThomiAnwar The ""pattern"" being the singular character Furina, with the other 3 being different? It's not like I have unlimited characters to use tbf.
fun fact, xingqiu can solo destroy the bird with a targeting... bug? the idea is to run up skill burst skill, dash back and swap and start hitting in front of you, and when the bird flies away as long as you don't move xingqiu's swords will track the bird to the end of the world, just make sure the character you're using isn't moving too much when you're pressing normals (i used sucrose taser for the run)
I kinda liked this abyss. It's been awhile since I've the need to think of what I was doing to be able to clear the abyss. Genshin doesn't have a lot o mechanical difficult in the game play, so this kind of restriction puzzle feels to me like a way to test the knowledge about the game and I had o good time doing it.

Neuvilette still "struggles" against the lava cores because while he can vape off of them, he can't proc any hydro reactions other than Vape, so c0 Neuvis will be stuck at just one stack of his A1 passive. For a 0 EM Neuvilette, this plus ICD means his charged attacks end up doing about 10% *less* damage as they would against a non-pyro infused enemy even before accounting for things like swirl or cinder city. He's fine of course, because 10% less of Neuvi's damage is still really good, your skill/burst can still vape too (and they are the first mobs in the Abyss so burst is guaranteed to be up), and most Neuvis have at least SOME EM just by chance, but it is something to keep in mind.
Oh that's why he felt so awful on that floor. I switched him to the second side and did the first one with Alhaitham. It worked a lot better since my Haitham is build to a point where he can brute force almost anything.
*Floor 12* was quite "Reset Impact" due to the Wolflord mechanics, but I managed to do it all without any Geo whatsoever: Sigewinne Hyperbloom [with Furina, Nahida and Yae] on the 1st side and _Raiden Overvape_ [with Yelan, Xiangling and Dori] on the 2nd side did it for me, as both have a _ton_ of damage and do elemental hits like there's no tomorrow.
I managed to beat this abyss with all 36 stars. With Arlecchino on the first half, and Chasca on the second. Arlecchino did have Xilonen, Yelan, and Xinqiu so I think that helped. I honestly thought I would be stuck at 33 stars this abyss, so I'm glad I managed to succeed and win all rewards.
Seeing Zajeff not even having done Tsurumi island gives me whiplash. Because i do every quest and i do full exploration at least i did for Fontaine were i started also Natlan. And now i am drained of primos i mostly rely on welkins or bp and whatever they give us. I could do Inazuma and the Sumeru desert but i would rather gauge my eyes out than hundred percent these hellholes
I rarely do exploration and world quests since I'm much more interested in combat than story. I took a break in the middle of Sumeru since I really wasn't enjoying the game at the time, mostly because of the TCG event and the neverending desert. When I returned ten months later I made a lot more progress with exploring Inazuma, Fontaine, and Natlan than Sumeru, which I still really didn't touch especially all the world quests so I still have that gaping hole in the middle of Sumeru that is the Old Vanarana.
Kinich was so broken on the second side, he carried me hard. First side I used a random Arle team, with Yelan, Kirara and Chiori lol At least I could do it in a single run.

It seems that consistent elemental damage is necessary, which Emilie and Chasca can generally do pretty well (Seriously, the Papilla gets bullied so hard by Chasca that it was a footnote this Abyss).
@@sseraph777 It should be pretty easy if you 1) don't "put out" the burning aura with a reaction (e.g. hydro) and 2) add elemental hits outside of burning and her skill. A lot of teams can pull this off pretty easily. If you have Emilie & Kinich, it drops almost instantly.
Yelan breaks the Qucusaur's pyro shield the fastest among the three off-field hydro units. You charge shot 3 times while it's in the air and when it comes close to the ground, you Q NA E and the pyro shield is gone. And you don't lose the hydro uptime either
I forgot what I used but seeing you mention Hyperbloom reminded me I did learn how good it was into second half. Itto Albedo Furina Goro / Ayaka Shinobu Yelan Nahida
a fun thing you can do is stand on zhongli pillar with nuevi and you can actually na and charge attack the boss in 12-2 1st half thats how i did it on my friends since they both dont have furina you have to skill while the boss is on the ground tho and the spacing is a bit weird but it always works (its funny i dont have nuevi but i have furina) prioritize charge attack first you can get 3 ticks from it plus its more fun but you cn also squeeze out a na tho if you do full ca
It's worst not bc it's hard, but it's way too restrictive. First chamber u need a geo and hydro, second chamber u need natlan characters (non natlan can, but need to act fast) and a bow
Raiden, furina, xilonen and yelan first half worked like a charm then arlecchino, c6 chev, bennett, and kujou sara 2nd half worked surprisingly well too you have to get creative with teams for this abyss
So quick tip for the fluid avatars of lava, (and lectors if they're ever in abyss) I enjoy having a hydro aura from either Xingqiu or Barbara then move out of range with Kazuha ult to swirl hydro, then the enemies will walk in
@MmMm-mr6tf it's not so much the VV but more for breaking the pyro shield. If you know Sunfire jean, then it's like that but with hydro if I make any sense here
@ shield? do you mean like… eating away at their pyro aura? So that you could swirl after? Cuz those guys don’t have shields I feel like if you’re using Hydro units just letting them vape shouldn’t be good enough
@@MmMm-mr6tf I see where you're coming from. So say you're against the lectors with their pyro shield up, since they have pyro aura, bc of priority, if you try to swirl anything else in there, say with Kazuha burst, the pyro takes priority. But if you have your own hydro aura, say Barbara or Xingqiu, you can walk out of range of the lectors or in this case avatars, use Kazuha burst, which makes a hydro swirl instead of the pyro one
@@MeepMorp713 ok I see where the confusion is coming from. You seem to be talking about infusion instead of the swirl, which would be useful against the Pyro Lectors because they have a shield Now picture this, you are correct you are swirling Hydro off yourself but, non of the enemies are close to you so you aren’t getting your VV shred And when they do get closer, Kazuha’s burst would apply Hydro(which will vape) and then apply Anemo which will swirl Pyro, and unless you are playing a pyro team that doesn’t matter And that’s what I was talking about earlier

2nd Half: Arle Yelan Zhongli Xilonen
in the first half Furina came in clutch in a way I can't describe
0:30 Very nice visualiziation of the enemy lineup + position
Captain Kuku?
I mean mid can clear. HB was always gonna be powercrept, it’s like…antithetical to Hoyo’s business model.
@@zerefuuutv LOL. I mean Kuki
Surely next abyss is easier clueless
surely 12-1 doesn't have 6.7M hp when this iteration of 12-1 was already by far the tankiest in genshin history Cluegi
Even 10M HP / 180s would be 55.6k dps, in an era where 100k dps is very reachable for low 5* pull count investment
wayob manifestations entered the chat
it's alright, with nice boosts to pyro damage for Mavuika sales, so if you got a pyro dps one side is free
kinich burning is pretty free second side, didn't even need a bow unit since he can latch on to drake even while flying
Same, it felt like it was a side made for his teams
Nahida burning on the other hand always fell short
Thats what I get for thinking I was clever 😬
@@Zemos_zermos WOW THAT IS THE POINT! SUCH A GENIUS! IT'S ALMOST LIKE THAT IS THE VERY THING THAT PEOPLE ARE ANNOYED ABOUT! HAVING TO HAVE NATLAN CHARACTERS TO HAVE A GREAT RESULT!
@@marcusaurelius4777 That's a false statement, you in fact don't need natlan characters to have great result, just bring Fischl, she solves both of the problems on second half.

i love how the lineup is edited, buggo and sam always doing such a great job
Unironically this video helped me 36 star this abyss. TY!!!!
Some people are so annoying in the comments trying.
It's not that you can't clear this abyss with other characters, but that this abyss clearly was heavily designed with characters in mind already, mitigating other teams possibility.
Theres a lot of video of people clearing this abyss with like, Ninnguang, Barbara, Noelle and Xingqiu in 1st half but they're at least honest and say the amount of tries it got for those teams (it can spam around 50 attempts to 400)
1st half was made with Hydro and Geo in mind, with Hydro being able to hit the Dragon Boss.
Im still glad it's not a stupid wenut. I don't mind how fucked the mechanic is as long as i can hit the damn boss on field
@@QQQQ51111 wenut and wolflord are such pains for Chlorinde... She keeps trying to parkour off them during their downed states...
@@the_knut yea found this out in the imaginarium
Xiangling n4d under Bennett c6 shreds the papila shield really quick. I cleared that side with raiden national using this tech.
While I’d agree it’s annoying, you kill its totems and it comes down close enough to hit it. Most Hydro can take down the shield relatively quick.
@@skoverton5553 It comes down for a 2 second period basically. I do agree that it can be taken down, but you will need at the very least half a minute. While doing that you will have to heal and defend against nearly unavoidable damage while not being able to generate almost any energy since you can't hit it.
I use fischl and clorinde to defeat him. You can do it without hydro archers, but isn't a good fight at all. It is a poorly designed enemy
You complain too much.
Learn the mechanics and you can clear that room faster than 12-1-1
I've been REALLY sick for the last few days and taking care of my also sick daughter and wife; when I gave up trying to work and went to bed, I got thr youtube notification. Zajef really is the best youtuber

Furina's goons almost feel necessary to shoot down the stupid Qucusaure
this abyss is annoying because there really isn't a good team you can build that will crush a side. for example, i've been beating the abyss for a long time now with my teams...
nahida, nilou, nueve, and baizhu
navia, bennett, furina and xilonen (before xilo's release this was either layla or xianyun)
these two teams have been crushing the abyss for me since Navia's release. this time though my first time through i only 35 starred it coming in with just 2 stars on 12.2.
the reason? well the creatures flipped too much, what matched up well in 12:1 and 12:3 stopped matching in 12:2, and i realized to my shock that flipping the teams would be needed to 3 star 12:2... the first time in a while i didn't 36 star it in one try. i think the last time that happened was when they had the fatui(i think?) squad in 12.1 that seemed to be one shotting some of my characters causing the run to reset. ended up swapping up my abyss strat just for that by using alhaithem and his agrivate team instead of the nilou team, for 12.1, cleared the abyss with like 33 stars, swapped back in the nilou team, didn't worry about 3 staring 12:1, and got the rest of the stars.
I'm missing one star from The last chamber. This video gave me the motivation to retry it!
Going to presume that this is entirely the Golden Wolflord's fault.

It's a good day to be a braindead meta slave (like me). Took a break from Genshin, so I really couldn't be bothered to grind the current Abyss, lmao.
How are you a meta slave but aren’t grinding? 😂
(For context of the emoji, I’m just wondering how a meta slave is not desperately doing overworld artifact routes or attempting to tryhard Abyss with booking or other speedrun tactics.
@CelVini who said it is hard?
@@CelVini where did you see the word "hard"?
It has to be fixed but i dont think it will be
This is what annoys me about 12-2-2... Trying to find a team that can apply enough elemental to clear the shield is so tedious
hoyo fixed this in ZZZ (you dont need to repaly first half) so maybe later... but i don't see it coming cos it will make abyss a lot easier when abyss is already not that difficault as endgame
@@Eva-pn1yi ya i get what you mean but it is not a good way to make game difficult. There are way to make game exciting difficult, but right now it is annoyingly difficult
Genshin learning the worst thing from hsr : heavy mechanic lock
but our anxietyyyyyy ;_;
I've been waiting for this one for 13 years in Azkaban!
I waited until now to see the teams you guys tried because i dont wanna think LOL
You can climb on Zhongli's pillar and try to hit the dragon with ranged attacks to drive your off-field abilities like Xingqiu or Yelan's bursts.
After some trial and error I ended up using:
First half - Neuvi + Kazuha + Xilonen + Furina
Second half - Clorinde + Nahida + Zhongli + Fischl
I was really worried about the Clorinde aggravate team being enough, but it ended up working remarkably well against the Tenebrous Papilla in Chamber 2.
If instead of Chevreuse he used Xinqjiu for example, clearly would destroy it
24:49 DAMN IT ZAJEFF! I WAS DRINKING COKE! COKE!
17:03 The strat for Hyperbloom is Kuki burst on 1 skull, Xingqiu burst on 1 skull, Yelan burst on 1 skull
That thumbnail is fire lmao
I actually had a blast with this Abyss and got to try out a whole bunch of new and old teams alike, despite the restrictions. And oh the fun I had being able to bring Yoimiya again to the 2nd half!
Also, if you're struggling with the flower's shield and all the other standard recommendations (nightsoul, burn, taser, hyperbloom, C6 Fischl, Dori, XQ/Yelan) don't work for you, Venti's burst alone shreds like half the shield.
In the end I cleared with:
1st half: Noelle+Furina+Gorou+Yunjin | Navia+Bennett+Furina+Xilonen | Raiden+Sara+Furina+Xilonen | Neuvi+Furina+Kazuha+Xilonen
2nd half: Yoimiya+Fischl+Yelan+Zhongli | Alhaitham+Kuki+Nahida+Yelan | Nahida+Kuki+Fischl+XQ | Nahida+Kuki+XQ+Kirara | Arle+Ben+Yelan+Xilonen | Ganyu+Ben+Nahida+Zhongli | International
I see a pattern there in 1st team. It's not so looking a "bunch of teams" to me.
@@ThomiAnwar The ""pattern"" being the singular character Furina, with the other 3 being different? It's not like I have unlimited characters to use tbf.
Honestly; seeing Zajef's Tsurumi Island still having dense fog is a mood.
Nice recap and illustration. This abyss is indeed restrictive, especially the 1st half.
fun fact, xingqiu can solo destroy the bird with a targeting... bug? the idea is to run up skill burst skill, dash back and swap and start hitting in front of you, and when the bird flies away as long as you don't move xingqiu's swords will track the bird to the end of the world, just make sure the character you're using isn't moving too much when you're pressing normals (i used sucrose taser for the run)
The dps powercreep goes so hard that we reach a point where someone really thinks that hyperbloom is underrated
Kachina unironically saved me in 36 starring this abyss with the golden wolflord, made getting rid of the turrets much easier
Off topic but why do some of the character voices sound weird like it's TTS? Like at 16:47
taking it chamber by chamber helped me until 3rd chamber. my inconsistent damage for first half killed me
i wish i saw this video before i 36 starred on my own accord, but geez did i feel a sense of accomplishment when i finally got 36, i used neuv furina chiori xilonen first half and ganyu xiangling emilie zhongli second half
Chasca makes both sides a joke.
can you meet the damage threshold with C0R0? I don't have Furina neither, I just can't bring her to abyss lol
24:48 I'm sorry but the sound effect for the geovishap attack caught me so off guard LMAO
Hoyo added a boss which ignores ICD ICANT
Overburn second side was cake, highly recommend using it to abuse both fischl and burning on the papilla
One of the worst abyss lately, if not the worst ever.
24:48 thats why we love zajef
I managed to beat this abyss with all 36 stars. With Arlecchino on the first half, and Chasca on the second. Arlecchino did have Xilonen, Yelan, and Xinqiu so I think that helped. I honestly thought I would be stuck at 33 stars this abyss, so I'm glad I managed to succeed and win all rewards.
i had to use 6 different teams, but ultimately was able to full clear it.
Aren't we all
Seeing Zajeff not even having done Tsurumi island gives me whiplash.
When I returned ten months later I made a lot more progress with exploring Inazuma, Fontaine, and Natlan than Sumeru, which I still really didn't touch especially all the world quests so I still have that gaping hole in the middle of Sumeru that is the Old Vanarana.
having all regions except Natlan at 100% I'd say take your time, th primos drought is real
Kinich was so broken on the second side, he carried me hard. First side I used a random Arle team, with Yelan, Kirara and Chiori lol At least I could do it in a single run.
Why Emilie but not Kinich? And why not both?!
it was a breeze on second side
Fischl my Goat💜
At this point i don't even know what they will put in the 5.7 abyss💀
I wish Zajef watched some of the submissions clears because otherwise I don't really see the point in gathering runs from players.

Will ping affects the hitreg of the game? I'm not at home rn, so my ping is slightly worse, but istg I should have been able to break the purple dildo shield with arle, yelan, xq. It's super weird imo.
fun thing for the second phase, albedo (or zhongli ig) can let you hit the qucusaur in the air by standing on their things lmao
Emilie completely destroys the second half. The papilla and aeonblight drake don't stand a chance.
i cant break the papillas shield even in a burning emilie team :(
It seems that consistent elemental damage is necessary, which Emilie and Chasca can generally do pretty well (Seriously, the Papilla gets bullied so hard by Chasca that it was a footnote this Abyss).
@@sseraph777do you perhaps have venti?
Yelan breaks the Qucusaur's pyro shield the fastest among the three off-field hydro units. You charge shot 3 times while it's in the air and when it comes close to the ground, you Q NA E and the pyro shield is gone. And you don't lose the hydro uptime either
Faster way to use zhongli on wolf lord, tap skill on the 1st, burst on the 2nd, and hold skill on the 3rd

I honestly had a lot of fun in this abyss, Kazuha DPS on top and Hutao double hydro on bottom
a fun thing you can do is stand on zhongli pillar with nuevi and you can actually na and charge attack the boss in 12-2 1st half thats how i did it on my friends since they both dont have furina you have to skill while the boss is on the ground tho and the spacing is a bit weird but it always works (its funny i dont have nuevi but i have furina) prioritize charge attack first you can get 3 ticks from it plus its more fun but you cn also squeeze out a na tho if you do full ca
Peak thumbnail as usual
I spent WAY too much time in this Abyss not realizing how many chars could actually damage the Qucusaur Tyrant while it flies close-ish to the ground.
It's worst not bc it's hard, but it's way too restrictive. First chamber u need a geo and hydro, second chamber u need natlan characters (non natlan can, but need to act fast) and a bow
I like the new cut
Raiden, furina, xilonen and yelan first half worked like a charm then arlecchino, c6 chev, bennett, and kujou sara 2nd half worked surprisingly well too you have to get creative with teams for this abyss
am i crazy, or were the voices of the characters off the entire video? LMAO
I'm still clunged to do the Abyss with Hu Tao on one side and Ayaka on the other side since the Ayaka release 😂
Up: Kokomi/Furina/Chiori/Xilonen
Down: Nahida/Xingqiu/Yelan/Kuki
That worked for me.
I really like this abyss, trying to find teams to counter specific chambers was really fun !
So quick tip for the fluid avatars of lava, (and lectors if they're ever in abyss) I enjoy having a hydro aura from either Xingqiu or Barbara then move out of range with Kazuha ult to swirl hydro, then the enemies will walk in
Uhhh, does he swirl with that? I thought since they have innate auras he is just gonna vape them and not trigger VV
@MmMm-mr6tf it's not so much the VV but more for breaking the pyro shield. If you know Sunfire jean, then it's like that but with hydro if I make any sense here
@ shield? do you mean like… eating away at their pyro aura? So that you could swirl after? Cuz those guys don’t have shields
I feel like if you’re using Hydro units just letting them vape shouldn’t be good enough
You seem to be talking about infusion instead of the swirl, which would be useful against the Pyro Lectors because they have a shield
Now picture this, you are correct you are swirling Hydro off yourself but, non of the enemies are close to you so you aren’t getting your VV shred
And when they do get closer, Kazuha’s burst would apply Hydro(which will vape) and then apply Anemo which will swirl Pyro, and unless you are playing a pyro team that doesn’t matter
And that’s what I was talking about earlier
