PROFILE OF OTUMFUO OSEI TUTU II,OF THE ASHANTI KINGDOM

Otumfuo osei tutu II is the 16th Ashantehene of the Asante kingdom ascended the golden stool on 26th April 1999.He is the direct descendant of the founder of the Asante kingdom, Osei Tutu II.
Born on 6th May 1950 and named Berimah Kweku Dua who is the youngest of children by Nana Afua Kobi Ampem II Asantehemaa.
He attended Serwfi Wiaso secondary school and later osei kyeretwei then moved to Accra in 1971 to persue Account course at the Institute of Professional Studies. Later move to UK to school and work and at his returned was crown the king of the Ashanti region of Ghana. He is the Chancellor of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science Knust and a great philanthropist
