You have to turn on 48v phantom power for Solid State Condenser mic only. Don’t turn on 48v phantom power for Tube Condenser mic.

Audio interface apke hisap se lena jaruri hain . Apko kiya chahiye output main jab extrack karoge or input jab ap record karohge. . So apko jis hisap se sahiye us hisap se lena chahiye . . . If u r only music producer dn apko interface main itna kharsa karne ki jarurat nehi hain . . If u r a recordist or mix master engineer dn apko ak bohut achaa audio interface chahiye hota hain . . 😊

my Scarlett 2i2 does the same i mean when i press the "AIR" button the audiointerface itself turns on the "INST" button too and i cannot turn off "INST" button. to turn it off i have to turn off the "AIR" as well.
what's wrong with my interface? but i haven't tried on the second channel.
i personally belive like i always keep the mic and everything connected to the interface when when my desktop is off i keep the wires all connected so is that problem or something else?
also i personall like to record in Stereo(button on from interface) because that's when the latency feels right to me but when i use Mono(button on from interface) the latency is way too much
May be need to understand the basics properly

Also, can anyone help me solve a recording problem? The problem is:
When I record my vocals in Logic Pro X, I get an electrical (glitchy) noise while recording.
My settings for recording are set to:
- 32 Buffer size.
- Gain input set between -18 to -12 while recording to leave space for headroom.
- I use an Audio Technica AT2020 condenser microphone. I have also tried using a dynamic mic but faced the same issue.
- I use Focusrite 2i2 audio interface.
I'm unable to understand the real problem here.
Keep you buffer at 128 or 256, turnoff software monitoring, use the monitoring feature on your audio interface
