Good morning father Dave, when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer I knew the outcome. I prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed not knowing exactly what for but I prayed and prayed for 5 months and God answered my prayers when my husband asked to be converted to Catholicism before his death it just shows you God answers the prayers you need may not always in the way you ask for but he is there answering Them. It was the greatest gift God has given me. It brought me so much comfort to know that he is listening. Thank you for your wonderful inspiration.
Another thing I'm grateful for from '21 - Learning the "Fr. Dave Way to Pray" - 1/4 should be spent praising God, 1/4 thanking Him, 1/4 prayers & petitions to Him, 1/4 asking Him for forgiveness of sins. Thanks for that lesson, Father. Helps me to focus my faith better (of course sometimes I still go off track during prayer, but J.C.'s used to that with me, lol.)

But I quit going and started church hopping. Then covid hit and I really got lazy. Then we started having online Masses which allowed me to explore other churches. I came across your services, I am feeling God's call for me again. What a great feeling. Still not going in person, but I know I will get there again. Thank you for what you do. Oh My Heavens! Father Dave How important was this homily. "When did You stop praying?! " This to me is the key to our faith and the answer to all. He has NEVER asked for help with his alcohol addiction so I never gave it. But after learning how to pray from you and doing it and waiting in that "space" It happened. Today I prayed that God would give me the strength to be able to cook dinners again for me and my husband as I have a bad back and I have arthritis and carpal tunnel in both hands and wrists. So I asked God to please help me every night to be able to make dinner for me and my husband. Thank you so much as I continue to watch you every Sunday. Giving something to God and not "picking it back up" is very difficult because it means setting aside my pride and placing my absolute trust in God and His ability to fix that broken thing in my life. Lord, help me trust you implicitly to fix the broken pieces of my life every day!

I will always believe this pandemic brought about TH-cam Masses that reach a multitude of people with different needs and could quite frankly, in my opinion bring more people back to the Catholic Church !! One of my sons who's been wavering since college and not attending Mass, was here Christmas Day and I said let's all watch Father Dave... Although it appeared he was napping, to my surprise he actually introduced his girlfriend to watch Father Dave with him on his own because he WAS listening.. Praise the Lord!!! Fr. Dave... Fr. Peyton was a popular and charismatic figure in Latin America and the Philippines, where he promoted the Rosary and was known for his strong Irish accent. Peyton popularized the phrases "The family that prays together stays together" and "A world at prayer is a world at peace." I grew up on that phrase about praying together. When we were first married, before the 2 AM feedings...lol... we prayed every night together. We still pray together and separately. My husband prayed for the life of our daughter 52 yrs ago and promised God he would never pray for something for himself. I think today he has changed his tune. You lead in a way that is silent... but loud... and MEANINGFUL SUNDAY AFTER SUNDAY! Pray for you Fr. Dave.... everyday!!
I have the flu, so once again I'm sincerely grateful to God and Father Dave for this gift. One note: Father Claudio Piccinini did a parish retreat in my hometown many years ago, and he had a theory about why the Blessed Mother was so insistent that Jesus act when the wine ran out; Jesus showed up to the feast with 12 of his buddies, and that's why they ran short!

I have to tell you I have a nephew that’s in seminary school in San Antonio I recently went to see him and brought him home for winter break but he such a blessing and just enjoys the seminary he is in his last three years. Father Dave, thank you for letting me know it's all right to pray for myself. I never thought that I could and I always prayed for everyone else. Today I prayed that God would give me the strength to be able to cook dinners again for me and my husband as I have a bad back and I have arthritis and carpal tunnel in both hands and wrists. So I asked God to please help me every night to be able to make dinner for me and my husband. Thank you so much as I continue to watch you every Sunday. God bless you and I pray for you also and I pray for my cats and I pray for Cragley.
I also pray for all the unfortunate animals that cannot be taken in from the cold and are not loved and fed and a hungry and hurt.

Giving something to God and not "picking it back up" is very difficult because it means setting aside my pride and placing my absolute trust in God and His ability to fix that broken thing in my life. Lord, help me trust you implicitly to fix the broken pieces of my life every day!

Although it appeared he was napping, to my surprise he actually introduced his girlfriend to watch Father Dave with him on his own because he WAS listening.. Praise the Lord!!! I ask for continued prayers the Holy Spirit will guide his path to fully reunite with the Catholic Church 🙏❤️

It hit home for me because I always said I wasn’t getting married that my nursing career was so important but God lead me down the isle and gave me the right guy and showed me that I could have both. I thank God everyday for Jim and all the dogs we’ve had. It will be our 45th anniversary this coming May. Loved seeing Cragly, can see she is a very happy dog. Have a good week, we’re expecting a foot of snow this evening.
Pray for us. We buried my brother David Marcks. Now I think my husband has COVID I’m over it I think. Our 98 year old friend has COVID. Reacted to 3 meds Drs. Gave him . Prayers he continues to heal. Prayers my sister and husband make it back from the services in NJ and without getting COVID.

Fr. Dave... Fr. Peyton was a popular and charismatic figure in Latin America and the Philippines, where he promoted the Rosary and was known for his strong Irish accent. Peyton popularized the phrases "The family that prays together stays together" and "A world at prayer is a world at peace." I grew up on that phrase about praying together. When we were first married, before the 2 AM feedings...lol... we prayed every night together. We still pray together and separately. My husband prayed for the life of our daughter 52 yrs ago and promised God he would never pray for something for himself. I think today he has changed his tune. You lead in a way that is silent... but loud... and MEANINGFUL SUNDAY AFTER SUNDAY! Pray for you Fr. Dave.... everyday!!

I have the flu, so once again I'm sincerely grateful to God and Father Dave for this gift. One note: Father Claudio Piccinini did a parish retreat in my hometown many years ago, and he had a theory about why the Blessed Mother was so insistent that Jesus act when the wine ran out; Jesus showed up to the feast with 12 of his buddies, and that's why they ran short!

What an amazing mass I feel I get so much from your sermons. I started watching during the pandemic and I so blessed to find you. I’m watching all the way from Riverside California. I have to tell you I have a nephew that’s in seminary school in San Antonio I recently went to see him and brought him home for winter break but he such a blessing and just enjoys the seminary he is in his last three years.
