Good morning father Dave, when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer I knew the outcome. I prayed and prayed and prayed and prayed not knowing exactly what for but I prayed and prayed for 5 months and God answered my prayers when my husband asked to be converted to Catholicism before his death it just shows you God answers the prayers you need may not always in the way you ask for but he is there answering Them. It was the greatest gift God has given me. It brought me so much comfort to know that he is listening. Thank you for your wonderful inspiration.
Another thing I'm grateful for from '21 - Learning the "Fr. Dave Way to Pray" - 1/4 should be spent praising God, 1/4 thanking Him, 1/4 prayers & petitions to Him, 1/4 asking Him for forgiveness of sins. Thanks for that lesson, Father. Helps me to focus my faith better (of course sometimes I still go off track during prayer, but J.C.'s used to that with me, lol.)
I am thankful for your guidance and wisdom, FTher Dave. Please pray for my brothers basketball team the mens Oregon State Beavers Basketball team,my brother is the head coach a wonderful coach and father and husband. The tea. Has been suffering from covid and other situations. I ask for prayer to help them play with strength ,confidence and skill. Wayne is the yo UK best of 1 QE, we have all been an influence on him. His faith in God is strong. Thankyou Father Dave, new team for you to support.
Thank you Father Dave. Surgery for me on Friday. I’m giving it to God and I’m not taking it back. I’m offering my pain for my sins, my family, friends and you. With God’s help, practicing the lessons you’ve taught us this year. Stay safe. Stay well. God bless you. Have a good week.
Until 10 years ago, I didn't feel worthy to pray to God for myself - unless I was in dire straights. A Sunday morning mass changed all that. I can't express the joy and growth in my relationship with Christ since. Hopefully, your homily will touch someone the same way. Thanks. Peace...
Change water to wine.....what a beautiful homily on engagements, weddings, praying as a couple, praying for each other. I loved the thought of laying our needs before the Lord, but to use our brains to decide what is best for us, then place it before the Lord to help you follow through with your decision. Thank you Fr. Dave for some food for thought. Your engaged couples that meet you are very lucky to have you teach them. God has given you a wonderful gift to share. Stay warm. Live from Bethlehem, PA
Good morning Fr.Dave.Thank you for this beautiful mass, the homily and for Craggly's presence.Your mass is the highlight of my Sunday.God bless you and the Team. 🙏🙏
Good morning Father Dave. Every week your sermons inspire me, and I love seeing Craggly at mass. I really enjoyed the singer the past couple of weeks. God Bless all of you!
Oh My Heavens! Father Dave How important was this homily. "When did You stop praying?! " This to me is the key to our faith and the answer to all. I could go on and on but don't want to lose the wisdom of what came through today to me in that one simple question. Thank you Father Dave for all you do for me for my family and for everyone who ever tunes in or goes to mass with you. You are so special and just want you to know you make a real difference in my life and my Catholic Faith! I will never give up trying to bring those back that have left and you help! lol. God Bless you forever.
Thanks Father Dave.., watching from SC. i’m chronically/medically compromised so Ii am grateful for your masses. I love your humor. My mom recommended you for me last Easter
@@FatherDave Just wanted you to know also that I asked you to pray for my son Steele awhile back and you said you would. Well I gave it that space you talked about and continued to pray as I have for 15 years. He called me last Monday and asked for help which I immediately gave him. He has NEVER asked for help with his alcohol addiction so I never gave it. But after learning how to pray from you and doing it and waiting in that "space" It happened. I ask for your prayers for him Steele Nugent Sutter That he can make it...that he can receive the grace that is right there from so many. He is a true Catholic and I believe that with God and our Faith and the program and your prayers and mine... He will make it. Thank you again.
Thank you Fr Dave for these online Masses. My church has a priest now that I don't quite care for, just a feeling with his style, nothing else, its just me. But I quit going and started church hopping. Then covid hit and I really got lazy. Then we started having online Masses which allowed me to explore other churches. I came across your services, I am feeling God's call for me again. What a great feeling. Still not going in person, but I know I will get there again. Thank you for what you do. I share your link with all of my friends and family, those that are practicing their faith and especially those like me that have gotten lazy or reluctant for one reason or another. Thank you, THANK YOU for being there for me and so many others. God is good!!
Thank you for the beautiful Mass, Father Dave. Loved, loved, loved the Homily. "Let go, and let God" is my motto. Big hugs to Cragly 💕🐾 She cracks me up...what a beautiful life she has. Have a Blessed week, Father. See you next Sunday🙏
Father Dave, thank you for letting me know it's all right to pray for myself. I never thought that I could and I always prayed for everyone else. Today I prayed that God would give me the strength to be able to cook dinners again for me and my husband as I have a bad back and I have arthritis and carpal tunnel in both hands and wrists. So I asked God to please help me every night to be able to make dinner for me and my husband. Thank you so much as I continue to watch you every Sunday. God bless you and I pray for you also and I pray for my cats and I pray for Cragley. I also pray for all the unfortunate animals that cannot be taken in from the cold and are not loved and fed and a hungry and hurt. Karen Lynn Pereira
Hello Father Dave from Waxahachie, Texas. In my 66 years as a Catholic, I have never heard clearer guidance on how to follow God's will. Place it at his feet, give him space to show you his will while seeking guidance through his word, prayer, novenas, and trusted people. And then use your gifts to discern the answer. And the beauty of praying for ourselves and each other together. Your homily today was epic! Thank you for the inspiration and wisdom. I will be praying to remember it and apply daily. God bless you.
Thanks again Father Day for another lovely and emotional Sunday for me and most likely for others all around the world may God bless you and may God bless the world
Praying for yourself? I do pray for myself as well as others however I have felt selfish in the past when I do. Especially if I have neglected my prayers and then something happens where I do need God’s help. Your sermon hit home and will definitely help me learn to pray better in the future and not only when I feel I need help. Thank you for today, love your masses.
Thank you Father Dave from Wichita Falls, TX. God led us to your mass on the First Sunday of Advent and we have not missed a mass since then. It is truly amazing how our Lord works in our lives through your messages.
Thank you, Fr. Dave, Heavenly Almighty Father, for your forgiveness, favor, and love. Heavenly Mother, pray for healing for teddy, Jesus, you chose me. Amen❤🌹🕊
Thanks Father I struggled to know how to pray with my husband. Now I will work on it by adding to grace before meals. Been married 47 years and only prayed at Mass together. Well he quit going to Mass so we need this. Thank You Father
Fr. Dave...thank you for the wonderful words and sanity as I sit in a quiet space in my mother- in- law's home ( who is making me crazy with her non stop chatter). I will pray for me, and for her, and for my husband who handled the chatter while I hid out to watch your Mass ❤️
Thank you, thank you all for yet another wonderful Mass and beautiful homily Fr. Dave, Diane, Jess and that very passionate man singing during Communion. We are SO BLESSED to have you all into our lives. You certainly are the best thing that has come out of this virus and so grateful for you all! Cragly is so lucky to have a dad like you and a church family that loves him so very much. We just love seeing him in church with you all. Please tell Diane that I love KISS also and have seen them many, many times in my "Detroit" Rock City!!! God Bless you all, stay warm, blessings for a beautiful week and see you all next weekend!!!
Thank you Father Dave. Every time I listen to you I feel like God is talking to me through you. I learn new things and am reminded of things I’ve forgotten. I always leave your Mass with ideas of ways to keep making my relationship with God closer and deeper and richer. When I get off track your words bring me back. I discovered your Mass on TH-cam by accident awhile back,,,,or maybe it wasn’t really by accident! Your words on prayer today were just the right words for all to hear. Bless you Father Dave for all you do!
Giving something to God and not "picking it back up" is very difficult because it means setting aside my pride and placing my absolute trust in God and His ability to fix that broken thing in my life. Lord, help me trust you implicitly to fix the broken pieces of my life every day!
Father Dave. Thank you once again for an amazing homily. Yesterday we laid my dear brother, David Marcks, to his final resting place. During his services there were two dogs present. They even whimpered at appropriate times. So yes as a Celebration of Life for David there were dogs present. 💔🙏🙏. My husband and I look forward to celebrating mass together with you. Thank you so very much
Thank you Fr Dave for such a wonderful teaching. My husband passed away Aug 23 and I have been lost since. I believe God sent me to find your you tube mass. I feel joy after your mass. So thank you.
Thanks for the “shout out”! How blessed are we to have had you to prepare us for the thriving marriage we have now, complete with our two little boys! 💙💙
Thank you Father Dave for such a fabulous sermon. You truly are an incredible teacher. You provide an overview, but your unique talent is that you can break things down and give explicit directions on how to do those things in our everyday lives. I’ve learned so much from you and feel I have become not only a better Catholic but better person. Finding you has been a silver lining during these Covid times. Thank you.
Father Dave , excellent homily ! My husband , Mark and I watched and listened to your homily twice . We will pray for ourselves, for each other and together. THANK YOU God bless you
Thank you Father Dave. Another Wonderful Mass and sermon -as always. My son and I watched you together today before he left for Pueblo Colorado for college. I will miss him immensely. But feel blessed that we were able to witness Mass together. Please pray for the soul of my daughter Meghan Carroll. May she Rest In Peace in the love of our Savior Jesus Christ. Thank you for all you do. 🙏🏻
Thanks from Australia to all the team who put this together! :) This service is something I always look forward to every week. So relevant to our daily lives and inspirational.
Father Dave I wish I had heard your homily 60+ years ago but I am also SO grateful for hearing it now! I still have time to use it every day I still have on this earth. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
From Toronto Ontario Canada, thank you Fr. Dave. Thank you always for offering a healing prayer for my son in law.. I also would like to comment on how much I liked how that gentleman sung during communion. Bravo.
As always, thank you Father Dave, Jess, Diane and Cragly. I admire those who write their responses so eloquently. Please know that we remember all of you in our daily prayers and are ever so grateful for helping us keep The Lord's Day Holy. Your homilies resound in our daily lives. We look forward to next week's Mass Celebration.
Good Sunday morning. I’m really grateful that I found Fr. Dave on TH-cam. I attend mass with you every week now. Your style of preaching touches my heart ❤️. Today, my son was visiting me. Just for a moment, I was able to get him to listen to some of your homily. Unfortunately, he’s not an avid churchgoer. But, he was impressed by the way that you reached out. Maybe I can get him to listen a little more. I pray for him and my daughter constantly. And yes dogs are in heaven. My little dog Xena passed away a few years ago. I know she can’t wait for me to get there to a wedding feast. Requesting your prayers as well. We never have enough. God bless you till next week - can’t wait. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Thank you Father Dave for your ministry to those unable to attend mass these days. Please continue with your enlightening/inspiring sermons. May God continue to bless you in your service to Him and his children.
Once again another great homily.....you're so real and natural and I'll say it again....there's no one like you.....and you always make make me laugh......thank you Father Dave........dorothy
Absolutely beautiful homily- so instructive, so relevant, so relatable. I always appreciate Fr Dave & when mass is complete- feel enlightened. Thank you to Fr Dave & Staff for just a beautiful mass each week.
Thanks Matt. We sang it a few years ago in church at the homily, but couldn't repeat that twice. God rest his soul. Johnny cash gave us some really good music
Father Dave I thank you and our lord for guiding me to your online mass, what a blessing you have been in my life. Your homily message today was awesome, you have been so blessed with the gift to provide gods will in such a way for all to understand, thank you and all on your team, loved the music this week too!!! Have a terrific week!!
Thank you for this mass, Father Dave. I enjoyed attending online with my sons. The singing was beautiful along with the piano accompaniment. And we always love to see Craggly at the end!
Good morning and thankyou for bringing light to my day. Please pray for my grandson Rad a preemie that the spot on his eye will be nothing dangerous. And that he and his mother have safe travel to Children's hospital in Omaha.Gods blessings to you Father Dave and those you love
Father Dave, the Lord had me listen to this for a reason. Everything you spoke about in this sermon was the very answers I needed to hear. I love how real you are when you speak. I lost my faith at 8years old. I've been told that I've been in God's waiting room for a very long time. I am now 46, and my spiritual awakening has been nothing short of a miracle. Listening to you today was only 1 of many revelations that God has blessed me with. Its only been 2 months since I've found the lord Jesus and it's been amazing. So thank you all the way from Derry NH🙏🙏🌈😇❤
Thank you for making a huge difference in my life and the lives of others. I appreciate your online mass so much, and I know how difficult and time-consuming it is to put together. Just know how much good it is doing for people everywhere and that you were truly a gift from God.
THANK YOU FR. DAVE FOR BEING HERE FOR US..I & our dog Foxy by my side look forward to being with you every Sunday for the last 2years +. . Your humor lifts me up. I'm prone to depression however God of my heart guides me. I do not understand why others are unable to let go to God/Jesus/Holy Spirit. Plz pray for our health and our family in NYC. I've been praying for us husband, daughter 49 yrs +...I visualize my God Box for all my prayers..when I take back my requests then I put request/prayers t back into God box and slam the lid..
Thank you Father Dave for the life-changing Homily. Between the Wine and Jesus 'as soap in the water' from last week, that already covers covers the entire year! God must have much in store for us in '22, because he's bringing it out through you. Many many thanks again to the vocalist. He took it to a new level! Thanks to our unintended zoom Masses, we are blessed with the opportunity to sing the Mass songs all week long💛. Oh yes, and let's not forget to thank you for the effort to put in the special Johnny clip! (a reality check in some ways). Thank you all again with All glory to our loving God! Have a blessed week. everyone💌
Thank you Father Dave for today’s mass. Another wonderful homily. I never put much thought in praying for myself as I always find myself praying for others. I’m learning and improving each week that I watch you. I hope you have a wonderful week.
Another great mass FATHER DAVE -The homily struck home -I always prayed for myself ,not for my wife - ( until she got I’ll and pasted away ) but we always prayed together at mass. That was one great homily -Enjoyed the wonderful singing by the gentleman-Have a great week and stay warm.Since I enjoy drinking wine ,I liked the changing of water into wine 🍷
Thanks Fr Dave, another great homily on the importance of prayer. It gives us that all powerful connection to God. Love the wedding at Cana one of my faves, for me it shows JCs respect and love for his Blessed Mother, as he did this for her, her request ❤. It also shows their relationship as Mother and son, she knew her son would do as she asked. Im here today to suppprt craggers she the best 🐕...she cant be blamed for Dianes' blooper 🤣🤣. Thansk to all Godbless ye 🙏🙂
Fr.Dave, Loved your homily. It hit home for me because I always said I wasn’t getting married that my nursing career was so important but God lead me down the isle and gave me the right guy and showed me that I could have both. I thank God everyday for Jim and all the dogs we’ve had. It will be our 45th anniversary this coming May. Loved seeing Cragly, can see she is a very happy dog. Have a good week, we’re expecting a foot of snow this evening.
Hello Father Dave and crew! Thanking God today for another amazing performance from our debate team. 4-speaker debate state champions and 2-speaker state runner ups. God is good and blessed us with success, and, more importantly, safe travel.
Checking in from Virginia...What a wonderful and timely 'how-to' prayer homily! There was so much to learn from today's homily. Was also moved by Communion soloist. Thank you for your gifts to us in this Mass. God Bless everyone and at St. Martha's
Good morning father Dave, when my husband was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer I knew the outcome.

Thank you and God bless you Father Dave!
Fr Dave you are truly a blessing from God. Thank you so much!
Love your Masses! Thank you for your genuine caring, teaching,i

Thank you for making a huge difference in my life and the lives of others. I appreciate your online mass so much, and I know how difficult and time-consuming it is to put together. Just know how much good it is doing for people everywhere and that you were truly a gift from God.
Thank you for this sermon.

Thank you Father Dave for today’s mass. Another wonderful homily. I never put much thought in praying for myself as I always find myself praying for others. I’m learning and improving each week that I watch you. I hope you have a wonderful week.

Martha's
