Snuff and pipe smoking goes hand-in-hand. a wee pinch of snuff will enhance the pipe tobacco and bring it to a whole different level. Bear in mind that snuff was the most used method of tobacco consumption since the discovery of tobacco.

Quite right! We had a number of exotic animals which were rescues on my farm in West Africa. Had we not been there to save them, the villagers would have just killed them for bush meat.

He certainly created a historical style of snuffs that have a terrific fan base today. In fact I was enjoying some SWS snuffs while you did the interview. Another interesting PHM-love the videos at the end of most episodes. Hunting and the shooting sports in general ARE conservation. Much of the African continent is heavily dependent on the international sportsman. The current state of unrest and the virus are taking quite a toll on both the human and animal populations there. ALL continents benefit greatly from hunting and conservation-the game animal maintains healthy population levels and the local people benefit financially and by the meat of the hunt. Keep up the great work guys.

When 'Johnny' refers (at 45.10) to that 'awful little jingle' at the start of my stepfather's Out of Town broadcasts I wonder if he's referring to Max Bygraves song "Out of Town" rather than the theme tune (played here) that succeeded it - Jonathan Xavier Coudrille's arrangement of Recuerdos de la Alhambra (Memories of the Alhambra) by Spanish composer and guitarist Francisco Tárrega.
