@@NihongoGamerill try but it could well be months before i make progress. i hear how tough it is for even pros to adapt to the leverless control scheme
It really sucks the fact that there is (No SOCD Cleaning) only on pc. i play Tekken on ps5 and without SOCD there is a method where you korean backdash alot more easily and without it its harder than doing it on a stick or a controller, other than that the rest is really good and i'm really enjoying the razer kitsune so far.
I bought the Kitsune last year after buying into all of the hype by TH-cam influencers and truly regret it. I have been a joystick fighting gamer since Street Fighter 4 was released in early 2009. I tried to get used to the leverless style. However, playing without a joystick gave my left hand cramps and felt very awkward. At the moment, I am considering selling my barely used Kitsune locally. If anyone would like to convince me to keep it, please make your case. Thanks!
I won’t convince you to keep it. If your hands feel painful you should stop as soon as possible. That being said, with the correct technique, it is very possible for most hand sizes and shapes to use a leverless without experiencing hand cramps.
Hey i had cramps my first couple of days and apparently i was using the leverless wrong. Luckily i watched Sajam who already had several videos of him actually getting injured as a result and how he eventually figured out what went wrong. Idk if you have the same problem i did, but you have to float your hands above the leverless rather than resting your wrists on the pad. In addition, you do have to warm up before a long session. Any hand exercises that piano players do will help.
Random question here but have you tried using the Razer Kitsune with the brook wingman xe 2 on a nintendo switch? I would really like to make this work so I can use this on the upcoming MvC 2 release.
My biggest problem with the Kitsune is the fact that they use 30mm buttons but have them slighty more spaced out than other all button controllers. If you have smallish hands they have to work more for the same inputs as on a hitbox, snackbox
Good question. I explain it in most videos but in this one maybe I glossed over it too quickly. The advantage is that you avoid problems in legacy games that don’t know how to handle simultaneous opposing cardinal directions. Added bonus is that you rarely misinput commands since they’re discrete inputs and not done through motion gestures which can overshoot. Then there’s shortcuts…
I cant get my touchpad to work anymore in game, can anyone help with this? The game (t8) and steam doesnt name the kitsune in button mapping any longer

In some ways they definitely make certain techniques trivial and that affects the game balance in some ways. Generally I think people still feel that whatever the controller, there’s enough in the mental game that the better player is the one that will win though.
@@NihongoGamer Yes, I still think the better player wins. The fact that Daigo and Tokido are getting MORE missinputs now than they ever did before they switched is one of the reasons I don't judge leverless too harshly (I want to try them, also; it's just that I just enjoy stick too much). I don't know why Daigo hasn't tried a mixed controller like the Cross|Up because I've seen his Ken do OD Tatsu by mistake (like on his online match against Angrybird which he posted on his channel) and when he was playing around with Zangief, he'd miss a guaranteed SPD after a Punish Counter DI because he'd just jump HP. Sako and Fuudo are still using stick and a lot of pros play using the thumbstick, so... The reason I lose isn't hitbox players. 😂
Even with default SOCD you could get the same 0f delay between crouching and the standing input, it’s just harder to time since the input cleaner doesn’t auto time the button release and button press for you I guess
@@NihongoGamer I was under the impression it was impossible. It therefore renders SOCD like chess cheating online, then, it's about probability: someone who does it 100% of the time is cheating. I personally don't care that much, I'd much rather focus on things I can control like my not checking Drive Rushes with correct normals or letting my opponent steamroll me with fake things I should have an answer for.
