Hi ! Just wanted to let you know I just got back from Israel and thanks to you and very good pilots I had four great flights ! you kept me calm during take off and landing and I thought of you often during the flight. Thank you so much for your video you helped me immensely.
Thank you for making this video! I’m going to Israel this fall and I’m absolutely freaked out about an 11 hour flight! Well , I was until I saw you spoon example! I’m going to take your video with me and if I get freaked out your gonna unfreak me!!! 😂😀You are awesome and I’m very grateful and feeling good about the flight!!!
I'm so pleased I made this video. I have had so many comments, similar to yours, and just knowing that I may have helped aleviate some fears is really gratifying. You will love it up there - it is quite astonishing!
I dont fear flying not because its safe, but because i dont fear death. Its something over everything you said, that makes me feel happy not just when i have to take a plane. Death its not a burden for me.
Just to say that I overcame my fear of flying three days ago after a life-time struggle and loads of lost opportunities. Your video was one of these things that helped me lift up, literally. A big THANK YOU - a really good job!
@@ZVTV actually i decided to fly again, this time with my son, but the fears are coming back, not too strong though - im flying next week across Europe (Poland-Edinburgh) and there are these ghastly winds and storms and im scared again, being responsible for my son does not help...any tips??
I think you need a refresher view of the video! Coincidentally, I flew from Krakow to Newcastle (about 150 miles south of Edinburgh) just last week. Krakow was a lovely surprise! As for the winds, you have to remember that no attempt to take off or land would be made if the weather was too severe for an aircraft to fly. And it would have to be REALLY severe! Also remember all the in-flight help that the pilots have, with the latest technologies to aid both in-flight and landing. Planes don't get "blown over" in the air. There may be some turbulence but, again, this is not dangerous, just a bit annoying if you are trying to read a book. Always try to keep in mind the correlation between air and water and think of turbulence as air bubbles. If you can imagine a bubble in the water, if an object entered it (ignoring the fact it would burst) it would drop due to the change in air pressure. It's the same with turburlence. The bumps are just changes in the quality of the air you are flying through. Mostly, you will be flying above the clouds so should be bump free that high. The good news is that the weather looks to brighten up next week so, chances are, your flight will be pretty smooth. Alternate nostril breathing is a great calming exercise, as long as focussing on RIGHT NOW. This very second, all is OK. It is amazing how fast those seconds build up. Finally - and I know this might be hard - try not to show your son any signs of apprehension. I know you would never deliberately do anything to affect him negatively, but those kids pick up on parents' fears very quickly and adopt them as their own :) ENJOY the flight. And just ponder on what an incredible thing you are doing, not only emotionally and mentally, but also literally. FLYING! I was pondering that last week, just how amazing it is. Here's something I just thought. Within the space of about 50 years, mankind went from first flight to landing on the moon. That is a pretty incredible trajectory. This shows me that the rules of flight must be very easy to overcome and control, in a physics sense. In the 100 years since the Wright brothers took to the air, there have been such amazing leaps in knowledge and technology. Finally, a quick Did You Know? In 2017, there was not ONE commercial air disaster www.independent.co.uk/travel/news-and-advice/air-safety-2017-best-year-safest-airline-passengers-worldwide-to70-civil-aviation-review-a8130796.html
@@ZVTV thank you for your extensive answer 😊, it means a lot to me. I did watch the video again and also noticed the zero statistics for the last year. I need to stick to the positive- anyway, i did fly twice and i did enjoy it......
You r awesome! You covered every detail of my fears about flying! I am relieved. I am going on a flight in 2 days! I haven’t flown in about 18 years and I have developed some anxiety issues since so I’m a little nervous. It’s only a 1 and a half hour flight. It’ll get my feet wet again. Wish me luck. All the way from America. 10 hours away👍👍cheers
I am so pleased you found my video, Gina, and that you found it useful. You don't need luck, not when you are armed with facts, so enjoy it up there - it is magic!
This video was super helpful! You literally described everything that scares me about flying, that I'm going to be that "one" for something bad to happen on a flight! Made me realise I'm not alone and all the facts (especially that first one) helped me rationalise my fear! thank you so much for this! Hopefully this will help on my 5 hour flight tomorrow!
Another awesome vid Zion, I can imagine these tips really helping people. I worked in Guernsey for 18 months so was flying between Exeter and Guernsey every 2 weeks over that period. Those little Dash-8 aircraft made every trip an experience, you just never knew what would happen! But, those short trips built up to the point where I was totally unfazed by the prospect of a 13 hour flight to the Seychelles when I got married. So those baby steps (although forced upon me) really did help in the long term. Anyways, enough of me rattling on, great vid mate... oh wait, I already said that didn't I... 😉
ik am on my way to Miami next week. a flight of 11 hrs. Little bit scared. uhhhh....i mean, a lot scared. I see myself in your video, so funny. A good "fear of flying" video. Best i have seen so far on TH-cam. Thanksss
Thats exactly how I feel. Thank you! I have to fly in about 4 weeks and I am so scared my legs go numb when I think about it :( But your video really helped me.
i don't have a fear of flying but i found this video so interesting....i wish i could say that my ancestors invented flight but they didn't so i can't.....
