The bangers are bangers, but with everything else, I guess everyone's got their own preference. I think we can all agree it was a massively impressive soundtrack both musically and in terms of world building. The soundtrack absolutely made that game.
Yeah that would have been nice. Unfortunately if I did it that way the video would be taken down for copywrite infringement. There's a link in the description to all the songs, in the order I reviewed them!
34:55 I hate "Look through my Kiroshis" Why? It feels like a Cyberpunk FAN song. It feels like one of those raps that are made by fans and put on web that summarise the plot of the game. Listen to the lyrics, they don't make sense for your average merc in the city. "I'm plottin' on jackin' corpo AV" sure, but it''s not something average merc does. "On the hunt for a netrunner and some VDBs" WHO WOULD BE SO stupid TO MENTION VDBs? They are literally a legend and no one dares to mention them outside Pacifica. "Got a call from the Badlands, some nomad clan Got some work that sound sketchy I need detes in advance Run-ins with Arasaka, stealin' convoys from Militech Extorting Kang Tao, right now, I feel like I’m the best Listenin' to Samurai, swervin' in the V-Tech" Do I even need to explain? It's literally Panam's questline. Kang Tao, then stealing from Militech. It's even mentioning the V-Tech which is V's car in all of the promos for the game. Then: "Stayin away from Max Tac and cyber-psychosis In Afterlife wasted, but always keepin' focus I have the reputation of a dangerous man Katanas, Gorilla Arms, Mark 4 Sandevistan" Like you've mentioned, just putting random Cyberpunk words in. Verse 2 "I'm ridin' through Watson, just look for Ripperdoc I hit Lizzie’s for some shots, and a braindance with the Mox Spend the eddies like I'm wealthy, I'm good with every fixer I only get the preem jobs, they know that I deliver Stakes get raised, my cuts get bigger My street cred’s n’question, I’m a legendary figure I keep a sexy output in Japantown on deck Edgerunner Artisan, choom, I craft my own specs I stay in beef with Maelstrom, Tyger Claws, and Scavs It's a deadly occurrence and it happens in a flash But I’m fully upgraded and equipped to handle business I know that spillin' blood is the price for lavish livin' Enticed by these neon lights, I chose my life On a warpath to fortune, through the city of the night You can try to live different, but no matter the district Everywhere you go somebody wants to write your endin" It's literally summarizing early gameplay at first, Watson, rippers, Lizzies and Moxes. Then it goes about Street Cred and what? Beef with Maelstrom, Tyger Claws and Scavs -gangs you kill in most missions. This doesn't feel like a song in-game rapper would EVER make. Unless it's a V's fan who somehow predicts what he/she will do later in the game and somehow makes a predictions really accurate. I can't stand this song... Otherwise, I love El Tiempo, especially knowing lyric meanings. I just like agressive-kinda-love-but-not-really songs. My personal playlist i listen a lot too is: 1. El Tiempo 2. Never Fade Away (Both versions) 3. Blind Dog 4. Blind (Both with music and without versions) 5. Chippin in (Kerry's) 6. Chippin in (Samurai) 7. Circus Minimus 8. Violence 9. Holes in the Sun (It's because in my first playthrough I was a Fem V, and I myself started to like Judy. Then, when we were going to get Evelyn, it was the song that played, so it kind of made my associate Judy with it. It also somehow feels correct for my Fem V and Judy, idk. lol) 10. Going to Heaven And special places go to: -Major Crimes -Suffer Me -Hello Good Morning -Heave Ho -Friday Night Fire Night -User Friendly & Pompon Shit. (I like Us Cracks. I roleplay just a supportive friend, kay?)
Oh yeah, Look Through My Kiroshi's is not a good song (also the title has an apostrophe like it's a possessive instead of a plural? That's just bad grammer) but I don't hate it as much as most people. I will say, I don't go out of my way to listen to it. Overall, your list is similar to my own playlist, other than Hole in the Sun. I definitely have songs that I don't listen to that I think my V would listen to, though! Cyberpunk really got me into role-playing, whereas most games before it I would just play a generic hero type. I think I was a little too hard on Kerry's Chippin' In during the video. I listen to the song a lot, and I do like it, I just think for a world famous rockstar it wasn't what I was expecting. But, rock is obviously different in this world, it has a different history than our own. Blind surprised me with how much I liked it once I heard the music! Thanks for watching, and I appreciate the detailed comment! I was hoping for some fun discussion like this!
I'm glad I found this gem of a channel
Thank you, that's very kind!
Me too!
Body Heat is my go to just because it has a lot of songs from the show

I’ve been waiting to watch this until I’ve had time. Such a good review of the songs! Also cool to see the face behind the channel :)
I know the views on this video wasn’t as much as your Skyrim vids, but I really enjoyed the cyberpunk content!
Thanks so much! It was a passion project more than anything lol
Such a great video, made me want to replay the game and listen to all of these masterpieces
wish i could hear the tracks as you talk about them, i dont know them by name
Yeah that would have been nice. Unfortunately if I did it that way the video would be taken down for copywrite infringement. There's a link in the description to all the songs, in the order I reviewed them!
nova virtu choomba
you look liek you enjoy screamo, if so tell me some of ur fav bands pls brah
Unfortunately I'm so picky about screamo that I just don't listen to a lot of it since I have a hard time finding a sound I really like :/
@@vikst.varlik726 like instrumental-wise or you have specific taste in the vocals?

"Got a call from the Badlands, some nomad clan
Got some work that sound sketchy I need detes in advance
Run-ins with Arasaka, stealin' convoys from Militech
Extorting Kang Tao, right now, I feel like I’m the best
Listenin' to Samurai, swervin' in the V-Tech"
Do I even need to explain? It's literally Panam's questline. Kang Tao, then stealing from Militech. It's even mentioning the V-Tech which is V's car in all of the promos for the game.

Verse 2
"I'm ridin' through Watson, just look for Ripperdoc
I hit Lizzie’s for some shots, and a braindance with the Mox
Spend the eddies like I'm wealthy, I'm good with every fixer
I only get the preem jobs, they know that I deliver
Stakes get raised, my cuts get bigger
My street cred’s n’question, I’m a legendary figure
I keep a sexy output in Japantown on deck
Edgerunner Artisan, choom, I craft my own specs
I stay in beef with Maelstrom, Tyger Claws, and Scavs
It's a deadly occurrence and it happens in a flash
But I’m fully upgraded and equipped to handle business
I know that spillin' blood is the price for lavish livin'
Enticed by these neon lights, I chose my life
On a warpath to fortune, through the city of the night
You can try to live different, but no matter the district
Everywhere you go somebody wants to write your endin"
It's literally summarizing early gameplay at first, Watson, rippers, Lizzies and Moxes. Then it goes about Street Cred and what? Beef with Maelstrom, Tyger Claws and Scavs -gangs you kill in most missions.
