Do you want to forcefully make Mahamaya the creator of unborn Vishnu? 🤦🏻♂️ Go and read your scriptures and tell where it is written that Lord Vishnu was born? According to the Vedas, Lord Vishnu is the *unborn* who has no parents. And Bramhadev was born from the navel of Lord Vishnu i.e. Narayan.

There is no god except Prakriti. Or ye duniya sirf nature ke laws ke haisab sa chalta hai. Baki Koi Sakar bhagwan exist nahi karta. Is existence me sirf or sirf do hi Saktiya hai ek hai formless SadaShiv(symbol of nothingness) or dusra hai formless Aatmasakti Mahamaya(symbol of everything).

Shiva was never a devotee of Krishna. Krishna was born human and died human and was a devotee of Shiva. The Vaishnavs exalted him to equal position that of Shiva and Vishnu.

With my little knowledge i have from reading of vedas and their interpretations i learnt the names have meaning.these are not different individuals. Names of same parabrahman. Shiva_ all auspicious, Vishnu-omnipresent one, rudra- remover of sorrows, durga- protector of durg (life and soul rupi fort). Iskon must correct themselves or perish

Shiv is the truth. Parameshwar Shiva is beyond of all Maya and Above Parbrahman. Shiv means *"ParamSunya."* Shiva is the purest(Sukshmtam). Shiva is beyond of kaal(time) that's why he is called *Mahakaaal.* Mahakal refers to lord Shiva as he is the Destroyer of all elements. There is nothing(shiv) beyond him, no element no dimensions not even time(kaal).
The Oldest Vedas refer to Shiva as the *_Bhuvanasya Pitarah_* means FATHER OF THE UNIVERSE.
Vedas also say *_"Eko hi Rudro na dvitīyāya tasthe"_* means _"Lord Shiva alone exist in this Existence in form of Nothingness, thare is no one beside him who can make him Second"_
Shiva is beyond of everything because he is *Nothingness* himself. And nothing and something cannot possible without each other. As per theory of Nothing everything is Created from Nothing.

ISKCON is a cult. I went to a Hare Krishna mandir for the majority of my childhood, and it wasn't until my third year in college in a religious studies class (ironic, an indian hindu learning more about hinduism in a college class than he did growing up) that I understood the history of hinduism, particularly feeling so disconnected from the hare krishna mandir in particular. hinduism is a massive, incredibly old incredibly complex "religion." that has grown and evolved over time, and ISKON is just an off shoot of Vaishnavism, which itself was a reform of even older forms of hinduism. the practice of certain gods and deities were, compartmentalized in a way, it was really region specific. when people say the word religion, they think of abrahamic religions, organized, id even go as far as saying homogenous. hinduism and other eastern religions, I would not even call religions because that tends to confuse people. I just believe eastern vs western/abrahamic religions are completely different animals.
regardless I wholly strayed off topic to avoid designing this research project for class, my original point was, yes, ISKON is a cult, its a hella cult. I don't know what your ethnicity is, but I'm going to assume you're not Indian, and even go as far as assuming that you're white. One thing that really bugged me about ISKON was 99% of the gurus, relatively revered figures in ISKON, were old white guys, former hippies whom im assuming did way too much acid which lead them to adopt the counterculture beliefs that bhaktivedanta represented. every sunday night, theyd have a guest speaker before the aarti, and it was always a white guy. there was something inherently off putting about it. being preached to about a religion your blood has practiced since its inception, by someone who adopted it in their lifetime. it was bizarre. regardless, some important things to remember regarding ISKON
- bhaktiv prabhupadha was charismatic as fuck. i think thats important to remember. Kirtanananda Swami was also charismatic. as a general rule, i dont trust charisma
- he grew up in a time where india was trying to grasp a concrete identity after centuries of colonial rule. what they came up with was hindu nationalism
- hinduism existed before this time. it existed before the british raj. it existed before the dutch, before the mughals, before the cholas and before the guptas. its never been a missionary religion, its never been about introducing others to hinduism or spreading a message or spreading love or anything remotely similiar to that. all of those off shoots, those reforms, were created and inspired by humans. there is no central authority in hinduism, just denominations
- ISKON to me is the complete opposite of everything hinduism represents. some of the other folks here got it right, they are evangelists. hinduism is no big deal to the natural original practitioners in india. its not something to get crazed about, and its certainly not some sort of solution or answer to an existential question. it simply is, its just the way of life
- and in my experience, ISKON was notorious for offering an ~exotic~ ideological escape for bored suburban generally-white liberals (jesus cant even use that word without it feeling like a pejorative) seeking to fill some sort of existential void
that being said, they are a fairly welcoming and philanthropic cult. and i suppose there is nothing wrong with helping lost souls feel welcome.

Just asking to gain knowledge , with due respect Why is Shiv ji always seen in meditative trans and in the form of a tapasvi mahasadhak and in digambar form and disconnected from the material world whereas Vishnu or Krishna resting in the cosmic ocean with all types of Aishwarya .
