Had an exact day like yours today at the tech college....setting up a 5 axis program that was supposedly run before with no issues....there were lots, but learned a ton and had a good time while trouble shooting. Keep up the good work, your channel is such a wealth of knowledge for me as I complete machining school and looking to get a tormach 770MX soon for the home shop.
These days only happen when you are short on time... LOL Nice recovery..
They do! Cheers.

Thanks for the feedback! Sounds like you have the right attitude to succeed. Cliff
Just one of those days!
Yes, adding just helps. Cliff
Those little workshop pixies are a nuisance! Always hiding stuff in my workshop 😂
Pixies! That explains it.. 😐
That slotting head does do a good job. Still waiting for the right job to come around so I can use mine for the first time.
Regards, Preso
Hi there! Yes the slotting head is rough and basic, but well proportioned. Regards, Cliff
Days? I've had weeks like that.
Just do what you can to get ahead and try not to get bogged down so far that potential solutions become invisible.
Yeah, that's it! Cheers, Cliff
That is a perfectly phrased bit of wisdom there. Think I'll put that in my shop somewhere to remind me when I need to hear it.
The surest measure of a person's character, is how they react to adversity. You're alright by me 😀
Well thank You! 🙂
That would be a good day in my shop.
Love it! Cliff
I got really worried there for a second. In the thumbnail it sorta looks like a destroyed spindle taper.
Yes that would be worse! Cheers, Cliff
