i had read he was a college acapella singer but i had no idea he was a Clef. Ive been following them for years, i sang with them a lot during high school. The Clefs are one of the best groups in the country. I gurantee any of them could make at least hollywood week
I just discovered Anoop yesterday and have been on a binge after learning how to spell his name. American Idol used to show the contestants name. During his audition they didn't and I'd almost given up.
They were good friends and fellow students, and she was a huge, loyal fan of all of the Clef Hangers. Brutally murdered exactly one year ago yesterday and the memorial service recognizing the one year date was in Chapel Hill, which Anoop had to miss to be in Hollywood, so he wanted to let everyone know his heart was with them and with Eve in Heaven.
Wow, I never thought I'd see the day a bunch of dudes covering "Angel of Mine", I gotta them props for doing that, and for doing a damn good job of it to boot!
I just have an ear-to-ear grin everytime I listen to Anoop sing...he's amazing... Shame he didn't pass right into the top 12. Hope the judges make it right...wildcard!

There are 3 groups of 12 who perform. 3 are chosen from each group which adds up to 9. The other 3 in the top 12 are chosen in the wildcard round. I THINK the judges pick the other 3. Lets hope anoop makes it.
