If you didn't care how it looked, would conventional fiberglass adhere? Melting plastic worked for me. I added additional plastic as well, but I'm keen to trying something to reinforce the area better because as you say ... it will crack again at some point.
Good effort & thanks for sharing ... but .... no warranty on this touch up / repair. This is repair will not last. it would have been better to drill 6mm holes up the line of the the cracks say every 50mm try to inject your co-polymer multipurpose sealant into & behind the back of the crack to give back support and sealing then finish off by giving it a gentle surface seal again with the co-polymer multipurpose sealant.
thanks for the video. why using compound and spray putty? for light hairline cracks could i use one or the other? or perhaps more liquid epoxy resine?

Can you suggest specific brands and products for the epoxy you used? I was thinking west systems would have a product.
What is the topcoat
Michael Devine The last coat I put down was a blue Acrylic spray paint
Why didn’t you show the end results 🤷♂️ will this paint take the heat of the hot tub?

A wasted effort. Break out the epoxy.
