I really enjoy your videos. I bought my Solaris in March this year and upgraded it with the 2 and 3 upgrades. I love it. Thanks for sharing your journey.
Your project, turned out very pretty.. I have a Solaris, I like to use a basting stitch, when I am doing embroidery. You mentioned pre - wound bobbins.. When I bought my new Solaris, they recommended & gave me some, Fil tec pre- wound.. clear glide 15 class bobbins.. they work great.. so I have always used them.. Several different online suppliers carry them.. And there are probably other brands that work just as well, but those are what I know..
@ruthh1776 I had bought some white brotheead bobbins before the black ones. I noticed they are the same type as the kind you mentioned. Those worked just fine. Then, I just bought 25 of another brand to see if I liked them, but even though they look exactly the same, they bounce around in the bobbin case. I just searched for that type you mentioned and found a large box of black brothread that I didn't see before. Thanks again! Yay!!
Another place that I know has good threads. I have bought their threads before, just never have bought their bobbins is Superior Threads. And they do throw pretty good specials from time to time .. I especially like their titanium needles ..
This is gorgeous! Where did you get that beautiful butterfly design that you said you put on a sweater? You said it had a "gaposis" problem? Sure looks beautiful to me!
@anitraanderson931 that butterfly and flowers design in this video is from embroidery library. The other butterfly on a sweater that I talked about is on another video. There's actually 2 shorts and a video on that project. That desktop is from Urban Threads.
Me too! I'm just a regular old retired person recording my journey to keep pushing myself to keep learning and for a continuous kick in my xxx. 😂@@anitraanderson931
If I could get to a point where I can have more time to plan color changes , then I will do that too. 😊 Lately, I've relied on the machine for color choices. It's fun to use the color visualizer, too. I bet the new Babylock Radiance is amazing at color selection, especially because I think it can scan photos and automatically digitize those. It looks amazing. That's a dream! If I could upgrade, I would!
Beautiful job❣️❣️
Thank you! 😊

Great to hear!
I have a Solaris and I use the basting stitch. I love the Sweatshirt. If you hasn’t pointed out the mistakes, I would not have recognized them.
Thank you so much for your input.

@ruthh1776 oh great to know. Thanks
Is this design very dense?
It's really not that bad compared to others I've done.

When I buy designs from Embroidery Library and even OeSD I always have to adjust the colors. They never seem to be right.
