Good video. I am in the middle of this install on my 2018. It's a lot of steps, but this kit is very intricate and well thought out. I am very anxious to get it done and enjoy the car.
So far we have been very happy with the performance and haven't had many problems just some odd throttle body stuff. If you have the 6 speed and a stock clutch I would recommend getting a clutch asap. The one in this car didn't last a month with 25k miles on the car.
If you have a manual car I would recommend getting a clutch at the same time. The stock clutch didnt last more than a month and the car only had 28k miles.
Great job, Brother. Have been thinking about Whipplin' my 2016 Mustang GT RHD for a while, now. It's either getting Clive Sutton to do it(as I live in the UK)or doing it myself. How much money do you think I could save by doing it myself? Best Wishes, Hope all is well🐴🐴
@boltingskyline5234 so I do this kind of stuff for a living so I was able to do it quickly. Most shops I feel would charge $5k for the job depending on labor rate. If you have the mechanical knowledge I would for sure do it.
Willz you did another outstanding job on the Stang….thanks and keep up the awesome work you always do and making rides even better…..clutch project next. Will have it this Wednesday from Lethal Performance.
What clutch kit do you recommend? I’m figuring out when to do mine and saw a couple comments you made in the comment section that you recommend a better clutch. I’m thinking I throw the whipple on, then throw in a crate Tremec because Gertrag SUCKS.
