Great revealing interview. Thank you! Andreas’s personality can easily be seen as to one of the key reasons why the greatest ever South American metal band ended! 😢 One of the saddest facts for me! Fact is! Sepultura ended when Max left it! Greed and empty bickering ended a Legendary band!! I’ll commend Andreas on his English. He’s also one of my favorite guitarist too. Awesome!! 🤩 😊 I however can easily see how his hard, sensitive, none wavering personality would easily clash with Max’s persona. Maybe Max is a little narcissistic or selfish. A lot of people are. But even then, that’s no reason to be selfish and end something so great and so beloved by millions of people around the World! When they divided themselves senselessly and effectively ended and buried the real Sepultura. They did not consider us fans. Just themselves! So, so sad!! 😞😢 If you would ask them to bring the real Sepultura back. They would rather think of themselves than us fans who supported them from day one! 😔

Por más que te duela los verdaderos fans de Sepultura agradecen lo que hicieron los hermanos Cavalera. Salir de gira con esos discos es genial!!
Sepultura plays 99% of the songs from the first 10 years when Max and Igor were there. They still haven't gotten over it. And it's actually funny when every show is 99% old songs and the other 30 years are 1% :-) It's really a shame they've disbanded. They took one guitar, added a death metal voice of Derek and in 30 years they were not able to compose one hit that fans would know from memory and play over and over again :-(
Did he seriously mention U2 and Dave Mathews band covering Sepultura? Lol I really didnt care for the new singer. They had zero fast songs. Should have changed the band name. I agree on Brazil getting known for Metal. Ive heard some punk and thrash from Brazil. This was a good interview.
The Cavaleras re recording these albums from 40 years ago is better than anything Sepultura has done in the last 30 years. Sepultura kept the name but Cavaleras kept the spirit.

Why they left Sepultura? Max 96 Igor 06. Even Igor was against his brother when he left, do you still want to give reason to the frustrated Max who wanted to be bigger than the band? What did he do on his own? What relevant did he achieve afterwards?

Qual é a diferença? Em ambos os casos são regravações (independente de ser em estúdio ou ao vivo). Detalhe: os álbums regravados pelos irmãos também contam com fixas inéditas, assim como o novo ao vivo de vocês. Objetivamente, o novo ao vivo de vocês também teria "valor artístico zero", pela sua lógica. E outra: como pressupor que os irmãos estejam querendo ganhar um troco com as regravações, quando atualmente ninguém lucra NADA com venda de discos?

At all the shows they play mostly songs from the first 10 years and albums Beneath, Arise, Chaos, Roots. Tell me one song that Sepultura wrote after Max left. They're living off the past. If I listen to Cavalera, I hear the spirit of Sepultura. If I'm listening to Adreas' Sepultura with a stripped-down guitar and Derek's death-metal voice, I'm hearing a cover of the old Sepultura.
