We need to see this to remind us, above anything else we are all human. Our backgrounds, culture, and race are pieces/parts to who we are. These men and women fought with their lives so we may have ours. But coming home to those you love put many things into perspective. And right now, life as we know it has changed, and we need a new perspective. Watching this video of families coming from different economical social backgrounds, race and cultures, reminded me, we all have the same needs, wants and desires, why are we tearing at each other? Why we hurt each? Why we judge? God, Allah, buddah, whomever you believe in taught us to respect, understand each other. Same with what happened to Me on my graduation. My dad said he couldn’t make it. But showed up just in time when my name was called. He was back stage waiting for me. I broke down as he congratulated me. I couldn’t let go of the hug because he’s been deployed for 5yrs. The most memorable moment of my life. The same day he bought me a new car as he said he would on my graduation. At that time I didn’t care what vehicle I have gotten. It was a Buick lesabre. The most comfortable vehicle I’ve ever been in. 😄

This literally made me cry cuz my dads in the army and hes being deployed right now and he recently came home for my birthday but unfortunately he had to go back and this just made me so happy to see other family's being reunited with their loved ones

It is hard to see that the kids have missed their parents so much and that they have suffered. But it is so heartwarming seeing the pleasures and love when they meet again. Stay strong and healthy!
My dad is in the marine core and he's been deployed many times so watching these kids reaction is so heartwarming cause I know what it feels like to have your dad gone for years
My dad isn’t in the military, but he’s my hero no less. He immigrated to America when I was 3 and my sister was around 6 or 7. He came here to give us an opportunity at life working countless jobs from a paper boy, to a security guard, to a masseuse. He used to come back ever couple of months, sometimes even 1 each year. But I remember my teacher calling me to go home and my dad was waiting right there through those gates in that little car. When I was 6 a couple weeks before my birthday, I boarded that plane and came to America. I’m 15 now. My dad spent over 6 years working towards getting an associate’s degree due to stupid colleges closing and losing his credits. He finally graduated April 2019 at the ripe old age of 45. It’s pretty amazing how TH-cam makes you open up isn’t it?
Takes me back when I came back to my family. My two boys were very happy. My baby girl was two and didn't recognize me as I had lost weight and buffed out. She warmed up afterwards and wouldn't let me go. God bless our brothers and sisters of the Armed Forces.

My dad is in the marine core and he's been deployed many times so watching these kids reaction is so heartwarming cause I know what it feels like to have your dad gone for years
My dad isn’t in the military, but he’s my hero no less. He immigrated to America when I was 3 and my sister was around 6 or 7. He came here to give us an opportunity at life working countless jobs from a paper boy, to a security guard, to a masseuse. He used to come back ever couple of months, sometimes even 1 each year. But I remember my teacher calling me to go home and my dad was waiting right there through those gates in that little car. When I was 6 a couple weeks before my birthday, I boarded that plane and came to America. I’m 15 now. My dad spent over 6 years working towards getting an associate’s degree due to stupid colleges closing and losing his credits. He finally graduated April 2019 at the ripe old age of 45.
It’s pretty amazing how TH-cam makes you open up isn’t it?

Takes me back when I came back to my family. My two boys were very happy. My baby girl was two and didn't recognize me as I had lost weight and buffed out. She warmed up afterwards and wouldn't let me go. God bless our brothers and sisters of the Armed Forces.
