That yellow sign "LAST USA EXIT" definitely needs to be bigger. There is no reason why it can't be bigger. Look at how much space is on that green billboard.

This happened to me as a Canadian. I was new to the area for university, which was a border to the US. Went out to explore and ended up across into the US LOL. I knew it was too late but what could I do? US border agent was chill. Simply told me to go out to the traffic light and spin back. I could have driven off into the US but I am sure they had eyes on my like a hawk LOL. Canadian agents gave me the toughest time. Searched my car, asked me 101 questions, the whole nine. Finally I was let back into the country LOL. Then when I went to the US a few months later with my parents, the US agents asked me if I had been to the US recently. I of course said no, but they're like are you sure? I remembered the incident and said oh yeah blah blah blah, and then we were good lmao. Gooooood times.
Please don't tell me Algoma University in Sault Ste Marie. That is literally the most obvious border crossing I've ever seen that you have to actively turn in to.
You know what else would solve the problem? Not having a one-sided open border. If everyone just had to stop at a booth and confirm they want to cross into Mexico, then people who accidentally reached the border could be directed to a turnaround and safely avoid crossing the border.
@@subjekt5577 I remember in "Travels With Charley", John Steinbeck got stuck in no-mans-land because of his dog not having the proper paperwork. So he hit the Canadian border check after leaving the US, and when he was denied entry, he had to come back to the US border check, who also refused him entry at first.
This is how most countries of the world control for visa overstays and customs violations as well. The US, Canada, and Mexico are among the rare exceptions.
This happened to me in 2007 when I lived two exits from the San Diego/Mexico border and accidentally went into mexico at 3am after work. There was definitely no U-turn option available, so I ended just sitting in the line to come back across until like 8am.
I did this in Buffalo, NY once and ended up in Canada. I got grilled by customs coming back. They didn't like "2 minutes" as a response to "how long were you in Canada." It was before 9/11 and they made such a big deal of it. It must happen a lot, you would think they would understand.
On the other hand, they may understand a lot more than someone who accidentally crosses a national border does. I’m sure it does happen a lot, but I’d bet that so do a lot of other things that aren’t just a mistake, and they have to handle all of those things.
I remember watching videos on driving when I was younger, and one of the things that the instructor said as advice for highway driving was “ALWAYS PLAN YOUR EXIT” because a lot of people suddenly miss their exit and make a dangerous dash towards it. My parents also said to me when I drive is to always be proactive and plan your route, even in unfamiliar areas, where you turn etc… it can save you from making dangerous mistakes.
I wish more drivers followed that advice. But way too many idiots making a desperate dive across the lanes for their exit. A really bad driver NEVER misses their exit.
@@Bad_Drivers_Caught_On_Dashcam When I first learned driving i was told that if in the worst case scenario if you did miss your exit you would take the next one and go back
In 2014 Andrew Tahmooressi crossed the border into Mexico accidently (he said he made a wrong turn out of a parking lot) with three guns in his truck. He faced 21 years in prison, but was released after 8 months. That's still longer than I would care to spend in jail.
Did this as a teenager while driving with my friends on the highway going to Hanford on accident. Took the wrong highway entrance and only realised it when I saw the facility, at that point it was too late. The armed guard was so nice, he let us turn around after seeing we were lost, scared, and clearly no threat.
I’m grateful for this report. Never driven near a border, I wouldn’t have known what to do had I not been paying attention. Didn’t even know they had uturns.
Are you kidding? The advice to call 911 is stupid and could potentially tie up emergency services when there is an actual emergency. Put on your thinking cap. The border is not one way. Drive to the border and come back across.
This happened to me many years ago in El Paso, Texas. I immediately turned around in Mexico, your plate is read when crossing, border patrol saw I was in Mexico for less than a minute, they put my car on ramps and gutted the interior suspecting I was smuggling.
Yip...that's a different kind of border for sure. If the cartel doesn't kill you, they'll saddle you up with drugs to sell or they'll kill your family.
Call 911? It's not an emergency. At the border there should just be a place to turn around if this happens. Ever been to a military base gate on accident? They have places for you to turn around, seems simple.
Yeah I was about to leave the same comment about military bases. Where I work, there's not really any warning that you are about to enter a military base. But it's no problem, you go up to the guard gate, tell them you made a mistake, and then turn around.
The biggest issue is other drivers. How many times have you known for a couple miles your exit is coming up, but because other drivers need to win and imaginary race even with your blinker on, nobody lets you through Edit: I guess nobody has ever driven on a busy highway. Better yet, a busy highway for the first time. Couple miles for means 2-3 lol and on a busy highway, 2-3 miles has everyone bumper to bumper
If it takes you miles to get into the correct lane, you’re doing it wrong too regardless of whether other people are “racing you” or not. There’s nothing stopping you from just slowing down and getting behind them, you just have the same “racing” attitude they do.
You don't have to pull ahead and get infront of someone to lane change, you can just ease of the gas and slowdown so they pass and you change into the lane behind them.
Here in Michigan at the US-Canada border on the interstate it warns you MULTIPLE times. It warns you about 2-3 miles before the last exit AND shows flags on the signs with “CANADA” and “USA” written on the lanes saying which lanes lead where. In Canada coming back to the US, it’s a little more discrete but they have a U-turn back to Canada pretty far up, almost to the toll booths. Obviously people should be aware that they’re super close to an international border, but accidentally crossing without the proper ID can go on your permanent record and make it harder to travel in the future.
@@baviation1872 nonsense. You would not “accidentally cross” as the border officers would not allow it. They would just turn you around. If you were in the middle of the woods, and not at an official border crossing, that would be different.

It took me 3 hours until I had to opick up a random person walking by in the streets to direct me to the border. the guy needed up jumping out the car in the middle of no where "towards" the border, ended up being his house. Almost nobody reads exit signs. Think about how often you see people scrambling to get on or off an exit at the last second. It’s pretty much every day!
A solution: Make a MASSIVE sign that states “if you keep going down this road, you will be in Mexico!” A tiny U-Turn sign is not going to do much I’m afraid.
I think they meant if you are still in the American section but can no longer turn around. It definitley seems like an overeaction, worst case scenario, go into Mexico and come back, might have to wait a couple hours in line, that's about it.
People with comprehension like you are why we have this problem in the first place. The officer clearly stated if you miss the last u-turn pull over and call 911, don't take it upon yourself to drive the wrong way on the highway and do not enter mexico. Where you get "Proceed to Mexico and call 911" is beyond me. Clearly not paying due attention like these drivers.
@@igot40movies It depends. If you have weed or a firearm in your car and Mexican officers search you you’re going to Mexican prison. Even if you declare them you’re going to prison. Like in Canada if you make a wrong turn and have a gun but you openly declare it to the officer they’ll take it, file a report, determine if it’s legal to have that type of gun in Canada and if not they’ll turn you around and give it back, in Mexico it’s just prison. So if you have goods legal in the US like say a firearm but also weed in CA and you get to Mexican soil and they search you, prison. So it’s not an overreaction if you miss the last u turn chance and you don’t want mexican customs you need to avoid crossing the boundary

Had a delivery near the border as a truck driver and yeah, I definitely can see how most cars ignore it. Even on the truck route it's like get off the very last possible exit before the border crossing. I like the suggestion of having the sign say something about your next lanes being in Mexico.
I am Mexican and I tell you, this can be potentially dangerous, I understand that you as American citizens can bring weapons in your vehicle without problems, but if you cross the border into Mexico here they are strictly prohibited and you could go to jail just for crossing with they.
Did this at the Canadian border on accident and they made us pull over and searched our whole car lol. Kinda ridiculous for just wanting to turn around but I guess I get it. And to the people who say it can be hard to miss it was at night and if you aren't familiar with the area or where the sign is it can be very easy to miss. Not sure why it isn't like a big LED sign or all lit up instead of a typical road sign.
Had a coworker do the same with a company working van, but went to the US from Canada. They search the van, gave him a ticket for a small amount of weed (he had one joint) before they let him turn around
Me as an immigrant who first came to the US on a student visa it was always a matter of be careful. When I got my work permit and started driving Uber/Lyft I went to drop off a lot of people at the border and some malicious passengers would even try to trick me into crossing the border. I’ve seen people backing up for over 1/4 of a mile to take the exit.
You know this isn't like missing the last free exit before entering a tollway. This is accidently going into another country. One that most US citizens really don't want to end up in. You'd think they'd have better signage than that.

The Peso is worth less than the Dollar. Your "poor" argument doesn't work. Partying in Mexico at the resort in Rocky Point is different than living in Sinaloa. Maybe if Mexican officials got the corruption and cartels under control more people would actually want to live there, the Peso would be stronger and US would not have millions of illegal immigrants crossing the Mexican border into US every damn year.
This happened to me a month after buying my first car. It was night and I was still not that experienced as a driver. I crossed the border and just used the GPS to turn back to the U.S. I had to wait like an hour in line and they had to stop me to check my car but it was no problem.

Back in Europe I regularly cross through another country - because it's a shortcut. On my bicycle. But yes, going from Canada to the US for some shopping (because it was a public holiday in Canada and shops were closed north of the border) certainly wasn't a regular occurrence at that border...the return was funny: "how long have you been in the US?" "About three hours?" "What purpose?" "Bought a three pairs of jeans..." "How long in Canada?" " Until roughly 10 pm?" "???" "That's when the plane back to Europe leaves..."
@@glockel4308It's called the schengen area. In the EU, most member states allow open borders to all EU citizens. I had my passport when this happened to me. But there’s literally no real checkpoint when crossing from San Diego to Tijuana. Just one guy waving to drive through. It’s easy to not pay attention and just drive past on the highway.
The reason why this is happening so often is because there are too many signs overwhelming the driver. Also people text and drive. I live in Buffalo New York and the border crossing with Ontario Canada is very obvious on the highway. However the canadian border isn't nearly as militarized
One time I almost crossed into Mexico on a rental car. It said last exit but I missed it since I was oj left lane. I was worried but luckily there was one last u-turn on the border. It was my first time driving there so I can understand the confusion.
Sadly since 2020, you haven't been able to take that U-turn since a retarded government decided to put booths there instead. Booths that they don't even use that, built with millions of taxpayer dollars.
@@Ap_twsh You can't even correct your mistake now if you miss that exit. It's a stupid government decided to put border patrol boots there that is essentially pointless and useless, as there is no one Manning them.
There should be multiples of u turn spots past even these two final ones. You should also be allowed to say u don’t want to enter and turn around at the gate once you have met up with a parson. Besides this they should have temporary dividers that can be moved and people can call the office number in case they made the wrong turn. This way the border agents can come out to where your vehicle is and move the barricade to go to the other side somehow.
Happens a lot on the other border too. If I'm waiting for the bus between the US and Canada up in Detroit, while at the bus stop I see a lot of cars with plates from out of state (non-Michigan or Ontario) accidentally turn off Jefferson or straight from Randolph onto the entrance to the Windsor tunnel towards Canada. Fortunately though its just street-level and there is a toll booth before you enter the tunnel so if you get lost you can just ask to turn around and a CBP officer will move the barrier over to let you U-turn
Needs to be more direct like. "This lane if you arenot going to Mexico. Last Chance" with flashing lights. Its confusing, chaotic and lots of cars don't let you get over. If there is one spot where a CHP car should be posted, this is the one.
@@dummkompfyeah because there isn’t enough traffic as it is, make it harder good idea. How about pay attention when you’re driving? Those green rectangles are called information signs, you should read them as you pass.
At a certain point I got to blame traffic engineers. The way roads are designed in the US (I can only speak for the US, although roads in Mexico are wack from my limited experiences there), encourage drivers to act like idiots.
For what it’s worth, if you are a US citizen and you have some sort of documentation that they can use to verify your identity and citizenship status (passport, Social security card, driver’s license, state-issued ID) then you will be allowed into the US after secondary inspection. It’s a hassle, but, as if it ever needed to be said, there’s literally *ZERO* excuse to make a U-turn on the freeway
The U.S. government says that I need more than just a driver's license to enter the USA. The people making a U-turn on the freeway are making a decision based on what the USA government tells them. Don't hate the player. Hate the game.
If you have legal (legal in the US that is) firearms in your car, you can still go to jail if you carry them over to Mexico. So not exactly zero excuse.
I almost drove into Mexico one night when I was lost. Right in front of me was a border patrol vehicle and then I looked around and saw my mistake. So I turned around in time. I was so scared
Paint the sign onto the freeway. Not only is this super effective to know which line to be on, it actually looks very very nice. The freeway 5 already has this design right before it splits into the 805 southbound.
I remember driving by the Tijuana entry just to see what the border looked like. I was double checking to make sure I didn't pass that last exit, Mexico is literally right there.

They should add country flags to the signs, or literally have signs telling people not to ignore that sign with ultra bright flashing LED lights - sort of like those old Looney Toons cartoons. Should also work with GPS mapping companies to ensure they add something that plain out tells people it’s their last chance to turn back.

The signs are completely obvious! I’m shocked anyone enters by accident. How? I get totally anxious when I see the signs when I go to San Ysidro, and am so careful to take the correct turns, because coming back through takes hours.
I did it once. Me and some friends were going to the outlets and wasn’t paying attention but found the u-turn and went through it but was stopped by boarder patrol and was questioned why we were doing what we’re doing and wouldn’t let up on us. If people don't notice when a business's open sign is turned off and don't read the hours on the door, then I'm not surprised in the least to hear that people miss the border u turn exits.
They could change the signs and lanes to the same colors indicating how to avoid going into mexico or even canada. Example: Make the signs light blue and the pavement to match. Another idea is to add the glow in the dark paint for night time driving like Australia is testing. Sounds like there are simple fixes that can be made even though the traffic would take longer to get through.
Why do all that? If someone is such a moron that they miss multiple signs telling them where to go, they shouldn't be driving. Let incompetent people suffer the consequences of their own stupidity. The signage is just fine the way it is. The average competent motorist can easily navigate the area the way it is. I don't agree with trying to idiot-proof everything.
That happened to me once. I was in a Chula Vista was trying to get off the highway and got to the border. Luckily it was during Covid in 2020 so there were no cars and I was able to turn around after I told the CHP that I was trying to find an In-and-Out burger spot and missed the exit 😂
I was working near the boarder and missed the last exit. I was in the fast lane and couldn’t get over to get off the last exit. I was put into secondary inspection. I was taken into an office, frisked, interrogated accused of smuggling drug money into Mexico. They scanned my work truck, ripped my door panels off, removed my seats, ripped off my headliner. Went through all my tools, scanned my buckets of paint. When they were happy that I wasn’t smuggling drug money. I was left to put my truck back together and then escorted back to the USA. Needless to say I was well aware to stay away from Mexico. This was 22 years ago. And there wasn’t much warning either.
Add some flashing lights, make the sign stand alone with no other signs or instructions accompanying it, keep it simple, keep it urgent, make it impossible to miss. Burying it in all the wording of all those other signs is not a good way to do that, even if you do put a yellow background on it. Now, if people still pass THAT up they truly are on their own with that one.
I understand if it's one or two a month but if it's one or two a week. It's the highway and border patrol problem. They need to redo everything. And if someone did make a mistake turn them around. Why make it their fault. When the signs are complicated.
There was actually a way to make a U turn if you missed the signs, but when the US customs decided to put booths entering into Mexico around 2020 they removed that U turn option, they dont even use the booths and i imagine they spent millions for them
The U-turn option is still there, it’s been the same one for more than 30 years. The booths you’re taking about are after that U-turn. I agree, are they ever gonna use those booths and what was the purpose for them? But the U-turn is still there, did you not see the video??? No wonder people miss those signs, this video is showing you the exact way to use that U-turn, yet there’s people complaint about no where to make a U-turns hahahahaha
@@SunnyDiegoProduction The u turn you are referring to is going through the gate to re enter into US and im guessing people get scared, there was a u turn way before that, there was no gate, so its not the same at all, it was an actual u turn not a left turn into a gate

Just keep driving whatever happens to you even if you don’t have passport is better than driving the wrong way on the freeway and killing an innocent driver.
I think it is a southern border thing. Most, if not all of the US Canada borders, for example, have u-turns and if you mess up they direct you to that and you go back, with some questioning. They need to figure that one out down south.
You don't have a bunch of gangsters, thugs, cartel people, and millions of pounds of drugs and god knows what, perhaps human trafficking crossing from canada into the US.
I think it’s young drivers that freak out about going into a new country. And yeah I don’t get the call 911 thing. But I guess because they will need help on where to drive if they pull over ? Iono.
Some people can get very stressed out about going into a new country especially if they don't know the language well or at all. Coming back into the USA can be a multi-hour wait depending on how long the lines are at the border crossing. And if you don't have your valid documentation, it can be a massive headache dealing with the US border agents. Another issue is insurance. Your US-based car insurance is not valid in Mexico unless you specifically purchase traveler's insurance. If you are unfortunate enough to get into a car crash and you don't have valid insurance, things can get very bad. There's a lot of corruption in Mexico and the cops can arrest and/or confiscate your vehicle and/or ask for a bribe. And you don't have any real recourse. As a matter of fact, police can pull you over and make up some bogus reason just because they see you have California plates and may expect a bribe. People down there drive without manners. I know US drivers aren't know for being good drivers, but down in Mexico, its a whole different game. People don't respect driving rules very much.

I solely blame distracted driving, there's blinking lights above it also. I understand it might be hard to see when sunny but ultimately you do not miss information like that if you drive correctly. Which is to basically observe every single traffic sign. I checked maps and I think the first sign is 2 miles out. While I think it should stand out a bit more, and it should be before Exit no.2 there still is enough time to react to going into another country?!
Not only in movies, this guy I know was just getting off work had his license as an armed guard and had his firearm in his trunk not knowing he was going to the border he was in jail for 6 months there. Not sure if he is even out or not.
Non-American here. I’m confused. Do Americans not need to stop and go through customs before entering Mexico? If so, wouldn’t they just get turned around by the authorities?
It’s way more lax driving through to Mexico than it is coming back into America. U basically can drive straight through, they pull ur car aside only if it seems sketch to them
Mexico's border patrol is significantly more lenient than the US ones. In the past nearly 8 years we've gone driving to Mexico through Nogales Arizona, we've only been stopped once for inspection. And I believe the only reason they did that is because my sister who was 19 at the time (and looks younger) wanted to drive our van across. I suppose they saw that a bit suspicious and we got flagged.
Reminds me of the guy in LA who fixed the 101/5 sign and it ended up being kept up because it was helpful. The signage is horrible. Lots of signs are yellow, it is somewhat easy to miss.

Here in Michigan at the US-Canada border on the interstate it warns you MULTIPLE times.

It depends.

Pull over and call 911 like the officer said. Do not enter Mexico, too dangerous.
@@MrVenonait is illegal to enter without a passport, but you will be let in and have less problems than driving the wrong way on the freeway
Dont be scared, its not good for you.
like be scared, absorb the feeling for a couple of seconds then maintain composure
Crossing from Mexico into US: walking for days, half starved, swim across the river, crawl under barbed wire, owe thousands of dollars to your guide
Crossing from US into Mexico: oops how did that happen
this happened to me and my family when i was 9 years old. but obviously we went through customs to get back into the US.
They almost didn’t believe we were my mom and aunts kids LOL 3 kids with no ID or passports .
We drove half a mile into mexico and it took 4 hours to get back the border. i cried so hard that day 😂😂😂 i remember it so clearly and it was like 17 years ago
Does anyone else think it's a little extreme to call 911 because you missed your exit?!

@@1bluenose232 What does that mean?? 💀 Instead of a stupid comment like that, maybe EXPLAIN to them! lmfao.
They should add country flags to the signs, or literally have signs telling people not to ignore that sign with ultra bright flashing LED lights - sort of like those old Looney Toons cartoons. Should also work with GPS mapping companies to ensure they add something that plain out tells people it’s their last chance to turn back.
I did this in Laredo, and explained to the border patrol about my mistake and he let me turn around in the employee parking lot.
I live in a border town. Once you’re in that lineup, theres no going back. My wife and I always have our passports on us so when this happened to me (Canadian going to the us) because I was just following google maps directions and wound up at a border crossing I’d never seen before, I had wondered.. what would happen if I didn’t have my passport on me… how does that work. I imagine I’d just be turned around in that little inspection area but I have no idea 🤷♂️ there really needs to be an exit ramp just before the border booths, to allow accidentals to bail or those who intended to cross at first but something has come up during the wait time
The signs are completely obvious! I’m shocked anyone enters by accident. How?
I get totally anxious when I see the signs when I go to San Ysidro, and am so careful to take the correct turns, because coming back through takes hours.
My first time driving around that area was a dark night and I went into Mexico unintentionally. I spent 5 hours getting back.
I’ve done it once. It was by accident.
highway hypnosis
I did it once. Me and some friends were going to the outlets and wasn’t paying attention but found the u-turn and went through it but was stopped by boarder patrol and was questioned why we were doing what we’re doing and wouldn’t let up on us. We basically told him to F off and took off flipping him off. I honestly hate boarder patrol I’m a goddamn us citizen born here and I’ve been F$&ked with by boarder patrol 3 different times. So yeah now I definitely pay attention when going to the San ysidro outlets.
@@konradmaerzluft985 they probably wouldn’t F with you if you didn’t cop an attitude towards authority. Only feminine single mother raised men go into drama queen mode when around law enforcement.
You know this isn't like missing the last free exit before entering a tollway. This is accidently going into another country. One that most US citizens really don't want to end up in.
I'd take Mexico over Florida. Or anywhere in the South.
How about changing the sign from "Last USA Exit" to "Mexico Border Ahead".
If there are several cases a year, maybe the signage is not obvious enough. Putting a large, flashing sign saying, "Mexico Border, Last USA Exit right" stretching across the whole highway. Maybe that wouldn't happen as often.
First time I crossed the border, my car was unlawfully seized by corrupt Mexican SAT border agents. They stole everything valuable and it took 1 year and a lawyer to get it back. This is very common and could happen to you.
Best to avoid this place unless you’re comfortable with paying bribes.
shut up racist
They don’t normally confiscate vehicles unless your registration is expired or you can’t prove the vehicle is yours.
Had you stolen the car?
i've accidentally crossed a couple years ago and its pretty tough driving around tijuana if you haven't before. hopefully you've got data in mexico and can use google or apple maps. even if you do, like i said, its quite confusing driving there if you haven't before. its not like you just take a left and -- boom, you're crossing back over. nah, you've really got to try and find your way back
the u-turn is super helpful though. one time we were gonna go to tj for some food, but since there were a ton of cars we decided to use the u-turn haha
Woah nice broll. Even got the go pro in that shot. Top tier videography.
Hell just get Biden to fly you to the U.S. he does it all the time.
Why do all that? If someone is such a moron that they miss multiple signs telling them where to go, they shouldn't be driving. Let incompetent people suffer the consequences of their own stupidity. The signage is just fine the way it is. The average competent motorist can easily navigate the area the way it is. I don't agree with trying to idiot-proof everything.
yeah those signs look really bad and dont grab attention at all
Yes let's paint everything rainbow because you can't read road signs... Perfect...
People still hit the 11'8 bridge even with all the signs and warnings.
That happened to me once. I was in a Chula Vista was trying to get off the highway and got to the border. Luckily it was during Covid in 2020 so there were no cars and I was able to turn around after I told the CHP that I was trying to find an In-and-Out burger spot and missed the exit 😂
Ahha😂😂😂
Thanks for the tips I’m learning how to drive and this can really help me and other people navigate at the border.
There was a u turn from the left lane
Add some flashing lights, make the sign stand alone with no other signs or instructions accompanying it, keep it simple, keep it urgent, make it impossible to miss. Burying it in all the wording of all those other signs is not a good way to do that, even if you do put a yellow background on it. Now, if people still pass THAT up they truly are on their own with that one.
I understand if it's one or two a month but if it's one or two a week. It's the highway and border patrol problem. They need to redo everything. And if someone did make a mistake turn them around. Why make it their fault. When the signs are complicated.
There was actually a way to make a U turn if you missed the signs, but when the US customs decided to put booths entering into Mexico around 2020 they removed that U turn option, they dont even use the booths and i imagine they spent millions for them
Actually speaks a lot about our government.
I'm actually wondering who the hell decided that was a good idea?
¡Bienvenido a Mexico!
😂
: D
Noooooo!!!!
especially the border patrol, oh no
I litteraly crossed into Tijuana with my white friend trying to get to the mall. And there’s litteraly no easy U turn I tried to find one I even got off the car talked to 4 officers (before the gate) and all of them told me I had to continue driving thru like wttfff??????
Literally no one expects to be in another country right away, rather there is countless number of times you’ve seen a “last exit” sign and drive right passed it.
Those yellow warning placards are way too small. There should be a full size yellow warning sign, preferably with yellow flashing lights.
There are drivers not paying attention to anything on the road? I am shocked!
This happened to my girlfriend and I when we were ditching high school. They should put Mexican flags on the freeway signs.
Oh that's actually a really good idea! Add Mexican flags to the signs pointing to stuff in Mexico, and USA flags next to the USA exits and U-turns
If you didn't ditch high school, you might have known how to read a road sign.
May I ask as an Australian what the big deal of going into Mexico is? Like why call 911 about it?
I think it’s young drivers that freak out about going into a new country. And yeah I don’t get the call 911 thing. But I guess because they will need help on where to drive if they pull over ? Iono.
@@TheWarriorLV thanks
2:03 “Alcohol was a factor”
2:07 “He made a conscious decision”
Bro… HOW did this man get a badge and a gun if he doesn’t understand the difference between CONSCIOUS and INEBRIATED.
You can make conscious decisions while drunk-the question is whether the decisions are reasonable.
You read every traffic sign are you kidding me? Be real dude that’s impossible and dangerous
I use google street view to study an area/street or city before I go into just to get an idea of what the roadway conditions are like
Lol they be like oh shit I don’t have papers. Thought only happens in movies being stuck
Mexico is not really worried about what US citizens might be bringing over I guess.
Reminds me of the guy in LA who fixed the 101/5 sign and it ended up being kept up because it was helpful. The signage is horrible. Lots of signs are yellow, it is somewhat easy to miss.
1:38 If you almost enter Mexico, pull over and call 911.
Mexico sounds like a scary place. 😂
Ikr, like I'm going to call an emergency number. Dude I missed an exit. Can just say that at the border and be pointed turn around where we can't do anything but turn around.
the line going back to the USA is scary, its 3hr + wait time
@@rkevicOr worse, because Tijuana is the "Murder Capital of Mexico", it's even more scary because you're probably going to get killed by the Tijuana Cartel the moment you step foot into Mexico.
We have many borders in Europe, one was direct in the City of Hamburg into the free port. All of them have had *BIG* signs of a country flag at every lane same do you found on airports. 😂 Very visualized and easy understanding. Why long texting on a highway? 😮 It could be so easy right?
this is how the border is signed up here in Windsor/Detroit area. On the US side, at the intersection for the tunnel to Canada, there is big "CANADA ONLY" text on the turning lanes on Jefferson ave., and for the bridge, the highway exit signs have US flags for traffic staying in America, and Canadian flags for exiting traffic
Damn. That bad in Mx huh?
I was thinking "how could people miss so many warning signs?" But then I saw how the warnings are a small yellow text in the middle of a huge green sign full of text. You need to make an individual sign in a bright color (maybe red) if that's so important
They act like entering Mexico is like entering hell 😂
If only the border entering Mexico had any enforcement whatsoever, it wouldn't be so easy for people to accidentally cross in.
They hate enforcing laws they do have the terrorist groups running their country. No reason for them to secure their border.
The border crossing has lots of enforcement. You literally go through a check point and sometimes they search your car.
