    Its hard for me to find out which one I am even if I do the test because usually the examples are only white girls with light eye colors. Im a mixed latina, warm undertone, my skin has a medium saturation compared to my hair and eyes (skin and hair being light brownish, eye color is brown), I tan very easily. I really think bright and light colors pop on my skin, but rich colors make me look classy.

      While not being Latina, I've struggled with the same issues, including the rich autumn colors making me look classy. In my case, classy, but about 10 years older than spring colors do for me. I actually get away with bright colors (even if I don't fall there) better than I do with warm autumn colors. CW typed my as dark autumn, because I'm warm toned and I have dark, contrasting eyes, but my natural hair color is quite light, medium golden brown, so dark colors overpower me, and wear me instead of me wearing them.
      I entertained bright spring for a while, because of the warm tone and high contrast, with eyes, but with the hair, some of the absolutely saturated colors are a wee bit too bright, even if not entirely overwhelming. So, I've landed at the conclusion that I am warm and bright instead of bright and warm, if that makes sense. There's very little examples of true spring with brown hair, which can be very misleading and discouraging when you're trying to find your fit, but they do come up as an example in "typical hair colors".

      Warm is spring and autumn, cool is summer and winter.
      Recently another theory I've come across. (Not sure how true it is)
      If your lips come across a pink undertone, you are cool toned. If you lips come across peach or brown undertone, you are warm toned.
      From your description though I'd say you are a spring or autumn.

    I’m a true autumn leaning slightly towards soft autumn. I blush easily, but I do have difficulty tanning even though I’m Mediterranean with olive undertone.

    I’ve been trying to figure this out and for me it comes to preference. I believe by textbook I’m an autumn girl but I prefer warm spring colors and both look great on me!

      I'm pretty sure I'm a true spring, but I like some more autumnal colours too and I think they suit me. I probably have a neutral warm skin tone, my eyes are hazel and my hair is naturally light brown but my eyebrows are darker so I often dye it a medium brown.

      @@nataliebutler I think what’s most important is you know your undertone, contrast level, and brightness of your complexion. That way you can hop around and still find colors that work. Autumns can even go over to winter, we have so much selection, we rock!

    • @nataliebutler
      @nataliebutler ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@irislee8711 yes, I agree. I'm begining to think I'm 'transitional' between warm spring and warm autumn, which means I can pick the colours I like best from both!

      You are very beautiful and your skin definitely has the clarity and brightness of a spring. Spring colors would look better on you than autumn. If I were you I'd try both Bright Spring and True Spring to see which is better.

      I see soft and warm in her, warm wheat hair and neutral warm skin with a touch of cool.

    What do you mean when you say thicker skin?

    • @christina-x7w
      @christina-x7w ปีที่แล้ว +6

      It means that skin looks supple and has a high amount of collagen in the skin. Compare Beyoncé and Nicole Kidman. Beyoncés skin looks lush and thick, versus Nicoles skin looks delicate, thin and fragile.

    im a "true autumn leaning deep" in 16 seasons, and i only like spring colors, neon peach, and warm pastels give me dopemine, anyone have any suggestions on how i can do both? i used to dye my hair neon peach from lime crime but it was too bright so i switched to sushi which is more muted but still too light for me, and so i stoped dying my hair, i really miss it though.

    It's been a bit of a discovery, including a virtual draping that was definitely _not_ a fit, but I've landed on spring eventually. I thought bright spring, because I have dark eyes, brown hair, and can do with a lot of bright colors, but now I'm leaning more towards the true spring option. I do well with bright, but not too bright, and I seem to get away with a lot of the truly warm colors.

      @@FilosoFashion I’m warm for sure, I have freckles, my eyes are green with a orange halo around the pupile, but I don’t have a lot of contrast (in my opinion). Bright spring colors suit me very nicely and muted earthy tones make me look dull. In cold seasons I’m very pale, but in summer I tan easely and thats when I don’t know for sure what is my season. Also I’m a redhead and when my hair is recently dyed it looks it’s best, with more redish tone than orange/yellow.

      @@rsplmr Bright Spring colors are very vivid and they are located right on the edge with the Winter color palette. Do you think that fits you the best? Then most likey you are a Bright Spring if your skin ton is warm. From time to time you will jump from one palette t another depending on how much you change.

    So only white women are true spring? But a lot of black women pop with true spring colours.

      Exactly. Spring is the lightest type and always has light clear eyes, white skin and blond, red or brown hair. People of color are always dark winter. It's clear from the description, are blue or green eyes and white skin the equivalent of black eyes and brown skin? This typology was described by a Swiss painter who noticed that humans have the same physical coloring as nature at a certain time of the year, but it refers to Europeans and their geographic zone.
