They're helping me through a tough time myself. My fiancé passed away in November and our daily ritual was to watch the new Game Grumps episodes. Took me awhile and I can't finish the Daganropa 2 but I slowly got back into watching and laughing without pain.
When I was 19 I had to have a biopsy done, that quickly turned into have a tangerine sized lump removed. I had a rotating door of family members and friends coming in to help me with cooking, cleaning, and just keeping me company since we were all waiting to find out the results . Every single person who came in, I made sit and watch Action Girlz Racing with me. I don't know why that episode in particular hit me so hard, but it made me cry laughing every time, and was such a great tension breaker; GG was always on in my apartment but that episode go replayed so many times. I luckily did not have a cancer again, but to this day everyone loves to bring up "remember when we were all waiting to see if you had cancer and you just made us watch that guy fail at playing that knock off bratz racing game?"
That’s so sweet. When I was bedridden after having a biopsy for the tumor in my sinus, I think I just watched game grumps for 4 days straight. Something about their laughter was so calming. Glad to hear everything ended up alright for you. :)
me: *crying* mom: *quietly* "you wanna... watch Game Grumps" I talk about Game Grumps so much that my mom knows that it's my comfort channel. No matter how terrible I felt, Arin and Dan would never fail to put a smile on my face. I quote you guys so much and I will never forget my family's face when I won a game and said "mother, fetch me my celebratory clean diaper!" Thank you all so much!
I love this...I grew up in a very Christian household where I wasn't allowed to curse (or watch anything that had cursing in it) and I remember the first time I saw the Game Grumps, at first I was like 'wow, what terrible language they have...' then I realized I had watched a whole episode and before I knew it I was hooked. Now that I'm older I go around telling everyone I possibly can about them. I quote them every day unintentionally. My husband will say to me quietly "mmm, funny joke?" or "this is a bunch of poopy ass dicks" when I'm upset, and it makes smile every time. I don't know where I'd be without them.
You forgot the timestamp for Markiplier's 10-year grats message. ... ... *WHADDAYA MEAN, "HE DIDN'T SEND THEM A CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE FOR THEIR 10-YEAR ANNIVERSARY"?!*
1:02:08 that “thanks for uh…” and the way Dan looked down and smiled before he said the most simply yet heartfelt thing made me realize how deep of a friendship they both have, how they have both inspired each other so much, and how incredible of a guy Arin is. This channel has kept me invested since 2015, and I’m so unexplainably proud of both of you ☺️❤️✨
Game Grumps have slowly grown into a warm comfort for me over the years especially ruring the backstreet boys reunion tour, like a weighted blanket.. That talks about it's poops a lot while the other half of the blanket says "..Aaron"
When I would have panic attacks in my first year at university I would throw on a game grumps compilation and it’s seriously the only thing that got me through some tough times, I don’t know what I would have done without you. Thank you
To this day when I want to get my wife's attention from the other side of the house I will cry out " Barry!" And I'll hear a reply "Barrrry!" Love you guys. Happy anniversary!!
Congratulations on 10 years, boys! You've left an unforgettable mark on a whole community. Here's to many more, until the day that Arin fulfills the dream of dying on camera, fully monetized ❤
I think a certain Jewish rockstar put it best: "In the ten years since we last saw each other, we've grown so much. As people, as musicians, and also as people." Congratulations gentlemen, a well earned ten years. Cheers to another ten!
I know this is kind of dark but hear me out: a while back I was in an abusive relationship with an alcoholic man. I wasn’t “allowed” to have friends or really see my family. There were so many times he’d be gone causing chaos somewhere or passed out drunk after yelling at me. And all of those times when I was alone I would watch your guys’ videos, it felt like I had friends by my side to help lift my spirits and smile in the brief times that I could. Eventually I got caught up with all of the game grumps videos so I started watching the compilations…and ended up watching all of those, then through you I discovered SuperMega which is another source of joy and comfort in my life. So I just wanna say thank you for being there for me when I needed it the most. Even if you didn’t realize it
F### me that's some heavy s###. Hope your life is a tad better now at least? TH-cam has a lot of negativity on it... but there's people like you and myself who have used it to help with our mental wellbeings. I suspect that you and I aren't in a minority here either.
This video originally came out when I was in the hospital during my daughter's birth. I just remember going down to the cafeteria in the mornings when my wife was still bedridden and listening to this and giggling like a lunatic in the elevators at the hospital. I will always remember how this video came out the week my daughter was born.
The montage at the end made me tear up when the "death approaches" line came on because I remember that was the time I started to like and fully accepted Danny as a part of the Grumps and now he feels like family
Both Arin and Jon had moments where they were like, "Yeah, this is the guy. He'll do good things." I believe Jon actually texted Dan to say the show was in good hands with him.
I'm as guilty of shouting at Arin in the comments for how he's playing Zelda or Sonic games as the next guy but I love you guys and the show and your music and everything else brings me so much happiness. Here's to the next ten years.

I turn on game grumps for my sleep paralysis, too. @@allyhinojosa3507 exactly! Feeling comfortable enough to close my eyes while listening to them was incredible. I remember the first time I finally slept through the night because of them. Happy tears!
What I do whenever I get sleep paralysis and want to gain control back to my body is I wiggle my toes around. Do that and you'll be free from the curse! Now, whenever I sleep I wiggle my toes around first so that dream me can remember to do it.
How crazy! I also have to listen to something to deal with my sleep paralysis! Glad to see that there are others that understand the struggle 😌 game grumps have truly saved me every night
@@TAPTENPAREY that definitely helps so much! Can't remember where I read that, but this also saved my life lol Grumps just have this ability to prevent the sleep paralysis from even happening most nights. Magic!
I was introduced to Game Grumps when I was serving in the Norwegian Royal guard by a friend in 2015. We had some great laughs together and I have stayed with Arin and Dan ever since. Few channels makes me as happy as them. Congratulations on the 10 years! 🥳
Egoraptor is what got me into art. I remember looking to go check his channel and to my surprise it was him on a couch with Jon Tron announcing Game Grumps. I was SO SO excited, I still have the 2 original shirts they made. I made my own lets play channel and even did a little skit reacting to JonTron leaving and Dan coming in. I ended up pursuing art and actually found out I got accepted into an art school while I was recording for my channel. Today I am a character artist at Marvel, I dont quite watch GG as often as I used to but man Arin if you read this, you had a HUGE impact on my life. Thank you.
My absolute favorite part of this is listening to all FOUR of them, past and present, sing "PUSH IT TO THE LIMIT!" at 27:54, and then watching current Grumps at 29:54 do the exact same head movements with the breath in and the head bob. Breathtaking.
I've struggled with chronic homelessness for like 3 years and every time I had no power or my phone service gets cut off, many cold nights, phone charged just so I can get thru the night. I'd watch Game Grumps with my bro who was always there with me. Any time I have nothing, me and my bro just make an evening out of watching game grumps episodes. You two seriously have gotten me thru tough times and I'll always remember that.
@@Dandylion567 It’s incredible how hard people will cling to something or someone when it very clearly isn’t deserved. @@JBoxy7 well there's a strong stigma that therapy is a bad thing, something you do only if you can't handle your own life, it's good that someone that people look up to is willing to openly discuss the fact that they have gone, or are going to therapy. @@wbwam7710 I've never heard that stigma but I can see what u mean. Still think we shouldn't normalize openly talking about your (extra) private life with hundreds of thousands of people

49:20 This is a seriously amazing moment of one human being genuinely concerned and helping another. Incredible Dan, you saw a moment where Arin fell into a habit of deflecting his own kindness and accomplishments and tactfully attempted to help your friend recognize their impact. You didn't try to force him to believe that he was a considerable factor in Brian's life but instead pointed out how Brian very well could not have succeeded in the ways he did and pointed out that it's really no small thing what Arin did in bringing Brian on the team. Also, all while recording a huge anniversary video that will be on the internet for the indefinite future. This is why I love you guys and your videos, I know you are decent people. I'm late but happy 10th to both of you :D
That smile that just crept across Dan's face during Brian's recording got me all in the feels. To imagine just Arin giving both these men the opportunity gave us all NSP and their time to flourish. Simply wonderful.

They're helping me through a tough time myself. My fiancé passed away in November and our daily ritual was to watch the new Game Grumps episodes. Took me awhile and I can't finish the Daganropa 2 but I slowly got back into watching and laughing without pain.
They’re still watching with you 🤍 wishing you so much strength
Stay strong, big cat
So sorry for your loss, I bet your fiance is watching the episodes with you.
Best of wishes.

Dude I've never even watched Gundam and it's one of my all-time favorites from them.
That episode is one of my all-timers

I quote you guys so much and I will never forget my family's face when I won a game and said "mother, fetch me my celebratory clean diaper!"
Thank you all so much!
That's lovely, what a nice thing to read.
I wish I could have seen everyone's face when you said that. Haha.🤣

This video originally came out when I was in the hospital during my daughter's birth. He was probably panicking because they'd already stopped talking about the coats earlier.
"Uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh."
The montage at the end made me tear up when the "death approaches" line came on because I remember that was the time I started to like and fully accepted Danny as a part of the Grumps and now he feels like family
Arin has said something similar - that was the exact moment he knew for sure that Danny was the right choice to continue GG with.
Both Arin and Jon had moments where they were like, "Yeah, this is the guy. He'll do good things." I believe Jon actually texted Dan to say the show was in good hands with him.

Well... the point of therapy is that it's a private discussion
@@coda567 no it's to have a professional give you advice *privately*
@@JBoxy7 well there's a strong stigma that therapy is a bad thing, something you do only if you can't handle your own life, it's good that someone that people look up to is willing to openly discuss the fact that they have gone, or are going to therapy.
