How do u forget the past if someone abuses u destroyed choices in life of not meeting godly relationship but everything been ruined as a result of there abuse
There is a question running in my mind, Please answer it. if the heaven is without Sin, There is no sin in heaven than how did Lucifer sin in heaven ???
The choice to sin is not sin. “For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:” - Isaiah 14:13 (KJV) There's also 3 heavens
read the book of Revelation, we see the God of love and the same God of wrath do we understand what this means ? we see Him also in the book of 1 Corinthians 11: 28,29,30,31.again do you understand what this means? Read and Read. my prayer is that, Lord teach your people your WORD.
I have to disagree with a lot of this. The idea that God's discipline is explainable or his love is only shown as gentleness, as if He only does things one way, is not recognizing that God says of himself, as written in Isaiah 55:8, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD." The discipline/chastening is for spiritual growth and he can use physical means for spiritual effect (which could be Him just not holding back an evil from affecting us) or spiritual means directly to allow this to happen. How God does this is beyond definition but the scourge is not aimed at the body, but at the points of impact on ones spirits and souls, like metal in the flesh to rip away the grip where one holds onto the fleshly ways, sin, rebellion, etc. His scourge for one may be allowing a physical ailment to occur without intervening or without revelation to cause them to seek Him, to another it may be Him revealing to them the results of their errors (harms they have caused to others) and this could be devastating realization that causes them to change spiritually, for another something else with possibilities infinitum. Love is doing what's necessary to get us to turn from the evil and toward His holiness and even in this, His timing and ways are beyond comprehension except that which He chooses to reveal to us. Some can get out of the grip of sin easily in one area and not in another area. Each child is different. Love is causing impact that changes rather than leaving the individual stunted in their growth.
I like your preaching Andrew but i think you have some things wrong on this topic. We still experience earthly consequences of sin as a discipline(?) which can be really sorrowfull. Wages of sin is death and we still die in this world as a christians. I also don't like how you are questioning Word of God, if God wanted other Word to be There instead of scurge im sure it would be.
You didn't address the one word in the passage I hoped you would. Doesn't the word reproof/rebuke intimate that discipline does involve correction of wrong actions or beliefs, ie: sins? Also, if the purpose of discipline is to train us to walk in holiness, then it is not so far out to say discipline IS a reaction to sin in us. For every part of us that is not walking in perfection is because of sinful beliefs or actions. If God wants us to be trained to walk more like him, then he is also training us to not walk in sinfulness. There isn't any middle gray category. It is either holiness or sinfulness.

Romans 15 (KJV) ¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯ ³ For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me. ⁴ For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope. ⁵ Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
I'm very curious why God chastened israel to the point of complete dispersion throughout the world. I don't think God can deal with rebellion with kindness forever (if even their destruction was a mercy considering the punishment of hell). It probably means you can lose salvation as well by being a stiff necked backturning despiser of the chastening.
In other words, get it right. Once you choose Jesus yeah you should continue to choose Jesus and perservere in faith unto the end and be an overcomer. Would like to hear what is wrong with that concept
@@drummerboy737 by all means please tell me whats wrong that concept. for as far as i m concerned its biblical. where in the bible does it say to choose the bible says the father calls all unto repentence b and accepting the gospel of our salvation which is the death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ and that we are to believe and have faith. that is the foundation in which every believer builds upon. the principles of the doctrine of Christ must be understood and applied to oiur lives before we can move onto the word of righteousness.

nitin kate many believe he didn't sin till in the garden aka outside of heaven. just a thought.
There is a difference in Satan coming before God vs a Christian inheriting the kingdom of heaven.
There is no Sin in heaven God doesn't tolerate it. Satan took his eyes off God when he looked at himself and pride devoured him.
The choice to sin is not sin.
