  • Here's a look at the drive around Jacksonville, Florida. I'm not exactly sure where I went, but hopefully you can recognize some familiar places. The video starts on the south side of town, on I-95 at exit 348. I made some loops around downtown, then headed to some antique shops in the trendy Five Points district, southwest of downtown Jacksonville. Then, I took I-10 to I-95, drove through the city, and on towards Georgia. The drive ends as I leave Jacksonville, crossing the Trout River Bridge.
    I made this trip in August-September 2019.

That's my city!! I think you went by my old church downtown. I recognized some areas but mostly because you included Five Points in the title. You pulled into (and backed out of) the place I had an endoscopy MANY years ago. You went by the High School I graduated from. Fun to watch this one!

You didn't say where you went to high school. My guess it was Lee High. I think they changed the name after all that hatred recently of whites in the civil war. Damn shame. Gee, can't have a school named Robert E. Lee High School. I lived near 5 Points in 1958/59. I was 13. Lots of memories.

@@Dr.Pepper001 The changed the name of Nathan B Forrest to Westside High School. They haven't changed Lee...yet.

Wow! Thank you for uploading this video of Jacksonville, this city I live in (until later 2020 when I'll be moving to Los Angeles or New York City where I will begin my entertainment career). I lived here since I was a baby at 1 year old and my sister was born at a hospital just north of downtown. I was born in Fernandina Beach.
    Recognized places:
    Main Street Bridge
I-95 north of the eastern terminus of I-10
I-95 exit 348 is US 1 south (Philips Highway, FL 5)
