A long time ago when I played poker, in the early days, a guy slowed rolled me. The problem was that I didn't know that I was supposed to be offended so it didn't have the effect that he intended. I was just slightly confused lol
this is my thing. like it can be a douche move but also i cant imagine getting that upset about it either. its like pitchers getting made guys are happy they homered.

I have agree slow roll can be fatality with quads. In essence though that is game, bluffing, slow rolling. tilting and causing your opponent to guess themselves. Thats how you won and with even a bad hand your able to keep playing. What monster of a slow roll that quads were without question.

I don’t slow roll, even if I lose the hand and call to the River I’ll just flip the cards. Helps my image I think. I’m kind of a loose player, so I get “hero” called a lot on some weird board textures that usually fit my range and then helps with my bluffs. If the guy folds or mucks right away, I won’t show even if they ask.
I'd never slow roll in anything of significance. A family game for $5 maybe, but not anything of magnitude. That's just bad karma

That didn't happen here. It was the guy putting the other guy all-in who had the nuts. I would dearly love to know where I have gone wrong here.

Obviously this 400% turn check jam is just terrible and unbalanced though because he's never doing this with any of his value hands, he's just trying to make such a huge bet that the only hands that will continue are like AT and sets. I'm glad the dude got stacked.
Keep in mind Sean shouldn't even have middle set in his range given he flatted a cutoff open from the button. TT should always be 3 betting there regardless of opponent.

I’ve played with Deeb at Turning Stone quite a few times usually $20-40 and he was always very obnoxious.. ran so f-ing pure against me 🙄

As a newer player, it’s so insane to me that this is frowned upon. If you’re comfortable playing a board that could crush you just because the other player isn’t acting strong, blame yourself. It has happened to me a couple times online now and I entirely blame myself for not going with the gut feeling that they had something

@@TXhydroponix I’m not personally experienced enough to slow roll somebody else. It’s too risky imo bc I’m not familiar with the math or the inner workings of the game. I just see a good hand and try to take the pot with it. But I’ve been slow rolled nasty at least 5 times now and I just feel like I was mega outplayed. Idk from a mostly outsiders perspective, to me it’s like being mad at a football team for qb kneeling their last couple downs at the end of the game to guarantee victory and eliminate any opportunity of success for the other team

Personally I don't see a slow roll as bad etiquette, if I think I have the winning hand but the player ahead of me keeps betting like he does, actually betting my hand for me let it play out, I learn better or they do no reason to be pissed..
