Owned a crossfire for 2 years. Never regretted anything more then buying that piece of shit Chinese bike. It’ll work just fine for about 6 months, then the problems start to appear. First the throttle wire will snap every few weeks. Then the brake shoe will need to be changed evey 7-12 days and the chain will start to get loose and no matter if you tighten it or cut a few pieces it’ll always feel broken. Then the vibrations get so bad that evey piece of the bike is will start to fall off. The side lights will break evey 20 days because of the vibrations even if you’ve never used this bike to go off-roading. They’ll charge you 4times more for the parts needed for repairs, and everything from gloves to jackets cost 3 times more than how much they actually cost if you buy them anywhere else,Things that cost 700rupees will cost 4500-5500.
And you’ll get stopped everywhere by traffic police and get fined for “modification” even if you haven’t done any.
Then finally you’ll get tired of all the shit and sell it for 4 lakhs less than you bought it for and regret buying it.
If you really need a dirt bike then just buy a Honda xr or a second hand crf 250 (don’t buy a crf 250 first hand as a 250cc dirt bike that costs 12-15 lakhs isn’t worth it) or if you want the best value for money bike then just get a duke 390(not an rc390 as its not refined for Nepali roads)
