English with Lucy My mother tongue is Portuguese as it is spoken in Brazil. I speak American English and I fell in love with your British accent. Perfect videos! Thank you so much for being you! XOXO 😍🌸😘
I was born in England, but my son was born in the US, he has had so much trouble with Er, Or and Ir, we found this video and it solved everything. He is 9 and without the stress on these sounds he says the words easy, you are awesome thank-you.
Lucy, you have been such a great help in improving my Language skills! I have scored so much better in my Cambridge exam all because of you! I just received my Certificate for clearing level C1 and I am so happy! Thank you so much for making these videos!
Admiring Lucy immediately transmutes in admiring English. Just recall her voice to improve your results in learning on your own. No more! Only voice! :)
Very helpful! Thanks Lucy! I have faith in God that I'll understand native speakers in the movies, This is my goal. I don't know why but I can understand you but when I'm watching some movies I can't, I can understand just with English subtitles.
I really like the way you get across to the people. It's quite hard to figure out what native speakers talk about but anyone could understand them by doing much more practise.that's the secret
English with Lucy Hi Lucy.. Please tell me your lipstick shade.. I love all the shades you wear. Please mention the lipstick shades too in the description. Thanks in advance.
Hello, Lucy! You are right i respect of your voice! ... but I hope your are now healthy again. Thank you for your tips. Related to the word GUITAR and why it does not follow the rule of the schwa-sound: The reason is that unlike all the other words, the stress is on the last syllable, so no schwa-sound!!!
I really appreciate the way you explain, for many years i struggle with the british pronunciation. I mean it's not the case i couldn't understand what natives said, the problem was in my accent i sound a mix of american and british , i recently follow your diphthongs series and help me a lot since i really love british accent..:)
As one who has had all too many cases of bronchitis I feel your pain Lucy. Hope you completely get over your bought of this nasty condition soon!!! LOVE your channel, & this episode was great.
As an American, I am EXTREMELY impressed when I observe a Brit/Limey say the American English "R" authentically. Dang, that takes real skill/talent/ability. Also, please note that "guitar" does not have a schwa sound because the 2nd syllable is *accented*.
Thank you so so much!! Now I'm on an English school, and with the help of you I could improve my english speaking and writing skills. Thank you so so much, really, I mean it!💗💗
Oh my gosh!!!! It dawned on me that you do indeed know a lot about English keep up the good work my amazing teacher I'd rather you talked about connected speach

Thank god I found your channel, I just realized myself that this is my problem with the British accent and just wanted to clarify. Sweet little guide : D
I think you can teach "The Art of Seduction" waaay better than English. You pronounce the words in such way that my mind travels to another dimension along with you. Keep up the good work!
According to the phoneticians. In British English (among others) people never pronounce the /r/ sound unless is followed by a vowel sound. And the schwa sound is not usually found in stressed syllables. That's kind of a 'rule' for pronouncing the schwa ending.
Im from Norway, I mainly watch these vids. to help me sort out with the pronunciation because when i talk its a mix between American and British thanks to al ofl the American TV shows here :> Kinda sounds a bit wierd to use both pronunciation for the same word within like 10 mins. And plus you are so pretty :D
