  • WATCH IN 4K !!!! Here are my new cables with Mundorf Angelique and Supreme Silver Solder. All made by hand by HEADquarter Audio ( me ). Mundorf AMT Dipole are a very good match as Supertweeter for my HQA Qunique RS Open Baffle Speakers. Please subscribe, please watch at Info for my email adress or visit my webside. The song is very difficult to play, please try it :)....

Impressive design.I love baffleless speakers -no box restrictions etc.As Qualio ID is proving they can be commercial success.Which woofers would you recommend for open design?

Hi there how di you connect the 1mF to the diploe tweeter? Across North speaker terminals or on the positive.

Your not the only one that gets goosebumps hair standing up with music, on the topic of amt tweeters do they need a capacitor to use them? I’m unsure hence why I’m asking. Thank you

Hi, yes, they need a cap, use a good one... like Rike or Miflex...cheers Mike

Thank you, one more question, if I’m using a 3 way crossover, I’m
      Guessing that I would
      Still need a capacitor,
Thank you for introducing me to this wonderful song, and your setup is beautiful

@@gtKeon Hi, yes, if you want to use it as a Supertweeter check it out with cheap caps in different size, if you have found the right capacity ( i use 1,0 mF plus Silverglimmer SSGO), then you can invest in expensive ones.. I use Miflex...but dont use it behind the original tweeter cap...but direct to + and - in of the crossover, never without cap! 🤗cheers Mike

    Hello Mike!
From my experience, the plugs/connectors are more important than the wire itself. Why? Because there isn't a perfect connection and the materials are very important ... when used in the connectors, both copper and silver must be used in a harder alloy (guess what? that alloy is a worse conductor than copper for instance).
I've made a test recently with a Supra power cable (~60EUR) with Furutech FI-50 Rhodium NCF (Schuko and IEC ... ~650EUR) and it sounded way better than a stock Shunyata Delta (~700EUR). No doubt the Shunyata wire is better, but the Furutech FI-50 NCF obliterates any other connector on the market.
I would go without esitation for the Furutech CF-601M (R) + CF-602F (R) combo for XLR. I know, they cost 220EUR per pair, but I am sure that there will be a big increase in sound quality.

Hi, as i say all times, everything is important. You can't expect the signal to go undamaged through bad conductor material, or through a bad connector.
I don't like the sound characteristics of rhodium. For me, a cable must play neutrally and without limiting the dynamics. The Mundorf Angelique is a good high starting point, but before I spend €440 on plugs, I would try my cable, as there are a lot more tricks in there that ensure good sound than just a few expensive plugs... Cheerrs mike
