because of ethanol in the gas now, it wrecks the old-style plunger material, so now the blu one is supposed to not dissolve etc...anyway, thanks for the tips so I can do mine! Yeah and always remove those pins so they don't get crapped over:) Cheers!

I have to replace mine as I just had my 305 rebuilt for my 85 Camaro I drive everyday (past 24 years) and am one of few women who build her own cars, (inside out, body work, welding et) including the carb, alternator etc.:) You need additives into your oil now too, to help the motor and seals as well.
