Thank you for comments so far!!! Yes I have missed out the obvious DURO!!!! However after my review I gave it away;) TOOOO BIG! th-cam.com/video/VIpniQxWfFs/w-d-xo.html
Much awe, much respect. It's difficult to find why the bloody hell the awkward TH-cam algorithm didn't offered me way before the most entertaining, passionate and elaborated channel for our beloved watches. Thank you so much. Cheers!
I've only bought casio's for the last 10 years and have no regrets. Started with some stainless Ediface analogues, but my latest is a 5600UE solar square G. It's my favorite so far. It's tough, lightweight, and a good size for my small wrists. I always had issues with full stainless watches being to bulky and heavy for me. I work in a lab around various acids and solvents, so the resin construction has additional benefits.
Discovered your channel only last week and O boy; I am addicted! It is not only V funny, silly fun (silly like myself but you are the Lord, the king, the ayatollah, the emperor, the messiah of creative silliness!) but very to the point, full of useful information and a no nonsense opinion at the same time. Genius! Carry on please, life is suddenly brighter and more enjoyable for me and many more people who follow you channel, I am sure of it! Last but not least; Casios are great! Thanks fella 👍 Why did I ever spend so much money on Swiss mechanical watches? Still try to work this one out 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Pietro!!! You are very kind my friend!! Thank you so much for the support! There are a lot like us all over the world!! We need to join forces with the rest and remind watch lovers you don’t need to be so serious!!!!!!
The best thing about TH-cam is the odd rabbit holes it sends you in, I'm so glad that the algorithms sent me to your channel. I'm loving binging all your reviews.
I can`t believe I haven`t come across this Channel before . The MWC has such a similar taste to mine ( I love cheap affordable watches ) and I love his sense of humour :) Just subscribed , Thank you 😄
Another great vid Russell really enjoyed it! I like the look of that Edifice at the end too. Here's a few handsome Casios that might interest you: 1. Casio Edifice EFR-S108D-1AVUEF (sapphire crystal + 100m water resistance). 2. Casio Edifice 38mm EFV-110D-1AVUEF 3. Casio MTP‑1302PD‑1A1VEF 4. Casio MTP‑1308D
Another great MWC vid to accompany my morning coffee and start my day with a few laughs!! I bought the fishing timer but gave it to the neighbour kid... "There's fish on it!!" 🤣 Another great reason to buy a Casio! Kids love them! I no longer have a digi now, but this may change... A great weekend to all!! Especially all the Dads!
A great video explaining Casio watches. I've been a fan for 40+ years and have owned many. This list you've made is excellent inspiration for a potential next purchase and your madcap personality makes it all a bit of fun.
Appreciate the collection walk through. I just love the gold calculator. That just screams 1980s, like the Rolex Bluesy. I recently added my first Casio, the DW5600. Quartz, good EL, one alarm. Simple. Solid. That recessed button top left messed with me. I thought it was broken. Lol
I owned the DB-380 more than a decade ago, it was really cheap back then ... And my dad got one for himself too, mine was plastic, his was steel. We lost mine in a river... My dad got tired of wearing his. It never broke down though.
My first daily driver Casio was my dad's old G-2300-9V G-Shock back in high school. He wasn't really using it much and I had just broken the either Casio or Timex watch I'd been using up until then. I still have that watch and take care of it best I can while using my Royale and other watches more frequently. He's also given me his old vintage Timex Ironman and Citizen Stiletto, both in working order. I'm saving up now to get him one of the cool upcoming Star Wars Citizen Ani-Digi character watches for Christmas this year, I think he'll like that.
My calculator watch was illegal in my school, although I was never told about it. Meaning, it was confiscated by my teacher on day 1 of me wearing it, and was pronounced lost when my parents come to reclaim it. Thats why whenever I saw a ca53 in my collection, a bit of sourness lingers in my heart, because I was literally saving for it.My dad being angry as he is, could do nothing. So instead he bought me my first F91, which I still have until now.
Great review as ever just bought a Casio royal Due to your review . absolutely love it Looking now for a Casio calculator watch Been of that age 56 now it will bring back great memories . Keep up the good work regards steve 🙂
Great video MWC, thanks for sharing. I would include the cheap protreks SGW100 and SGW300 (they are big but packed with functions), and the very stilish B640 black (with normal screen, not inverted). Go for the fishing WS1200, I think is an amazing underrated watch, with a superb module, lots of functions, and great animations that remind me of the Casios from the 80s. Greetings from Colombia
My everyday watch: Casio Edifice EFS-S510D-1AVUEF-Solar, saphire crystal and 100WR. Bracelet is rubbish but I should have bought more than one. A great value if you can find one!
Hi! I would add Casio Duro or MDV-107-1A2VEF, this one for me is the best value for money you can get. Other Casio I would definitely add is the AQ-800E-1A, I've recently bought and I'm very happy with it.
The blue casio f-108wh-2aef is a nice watch .. weirdly enough I picked it up in Argos ... flicking through the catalogue and picking out a new watch to buy is strangely satisfying !
I just ordered an AE 1500WH. Under $20 US. Biggest time display, maybe I can read at night without my glasses. Before that my most recent Casio is a W753, A Moon and tide data watch also under $20 US.
Awesome video as always mate, you just keep getting better and better, superb! F91w as my daily work horse, never lets me down, and I’m in the building trade so it gets a beating. Keep them coming pal 👍
Loving the content. I have several casio and seiko watches - 90’s and present day. Also the same about early 90’s mountain bikes. I must have a touch of the Retroids!
Hey, great video as always! I’m looking to get my kids into watches (i own 12 Casios and other Japanese and Swiss watches) I’d love to buy my 10 year old son a G-Shock but all i can find are ladies watches. It would help to know the options to get these kids in the game to avoid this industry from dying.
Got me a proper dw290 due to it being the ethan hunt watch from the first and the only good mission impossible movie from 1996. As a kid if the 80s, casio was the future and it is thr only brand of watches i wear.
I have 5 Casios, all purchased in last 6 months. 2 are on this list. They are rather moreish :) Shall watch Pt 2 next...but only after I've been for breakfast at Wetherspoons.
Iv just received a A159 as a gift and I'm in love with it I'm now on a mission to own many more casio watches i can not believe how cheap they are ❤👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Get the Casio MW-600F-1AV I've had it for 4-5 years now never changed the battery it's a dam good beater watch ...really a underrated watch with alot to offer 🤙🤙⌚👌 cant wait for the review 😂
You are absolutely right with your Pringles comparison. You can't own enough CASIO watches. Plus: Once I put on one of my CASIO watches in the morning, I feel bad for the other ones having to stay at home.
This video inspired me to buy the AE1200! I love the aesthetics of it, it has that 90s vibe that I remember from some video games when growing up - even though I didn't live in the 90s myself, my family was poor and I grew up with a lot of the stuff from the time thanks to my parents. Also it being very water resistant, and an absolute monster of features, it is right up my alley, I like having a wrist gadget that feels out of a movie
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Here to say this video yet again helped me with another purchase! I bought a MRW-200H for my younger brother - with him being a non-watch nerd, he broke my heart when we I was talking about watches with him, and he decided to buy a replica watch of a G-Shock, even when the watchmaker had original models, and when he explicitly told us that the models shown were replicas. And I taught him about the qualities to look for a watch, may it be design, durability, or function, and to be aware of trying to buy from reputable brands. This particular model is because my brother doesn't use the watch as a tool, but he does like having an improved look, but his wrists are massive, and only a model with a rubber strap would suffice. And since the MRW is pretty cheap, plus it is just what he was looking for, I took part of the extra money to buy him a real good watch that will last long. He was pretty happy! Especially since I got him the one with a camo style, he enjoys the "military" aesthetic on a watch.
Sorry for my English What a great video When you say. you get never-ending list I recommend a CASIO LINEAGE LCW-M100TSE- which around 160 GBO But you get 1 digital and analog display 2. Tough solar 3.Titanium 4.Sapphire The problem this watch is only selling in Japan but you can get online
On the awards 16:52 you gave Best Bracelet to the A158W at 16:55 , but you presented the A168 at 16:59 instead! I caught it because my wife has the A158W and I have the A168 and we switched bracelets! Great video!!
I love my Casio G-shock DW8300 'Stargate'. It's pricey now and it's a real whopper on your wrist, but it's at the heart of my humble little watch collection.
You should look at casio DBC-32 great illuminator large display like the casio royal and best buttons on a data bank and cheap . Mine was 32 pounds on Amazon .. love the casio vids by the way 👍🏻
check out the casio aw80 line up.. worn in the movie 3 idiots... bang for buck.. outdoors theme ana digi with telememo30 and world time. 40mm but wears like a 38... im just loving it, i got the green one.
I love my a158w. It has everything what I need. It has this vintage looks like f91 but with much better band. And even though it's wr30. I swim with it and it has no problem with it whatsoever.
I picked up the AW-90H from Argos this week. It’s a great watch and if you get the digital and analogue time spot on it’s great to see the minutes hand move.
Just remembered that i had bought a casio as a beater when i was in the states back in 2015 and its still available , not a digital though but smart , its the MW600F-1AV .
So somehow...not quite sure how EXACTLY, I ended up buying the F84W-1 (Japanese version of f91w) and the F91W with a GREEN border! What am I doing and why?? BTW, would you review these? I think it could be fun. Or maybe that's just me and I too need to get a Casio "Fridge". Ok, let's blame the heat and I am going to lie down in a dark room. PS: at least they were cheap MWC, I hope YOU understand me...
Hi and thanks for this interesting and very entertaining video. I can't miss this opportunity to shine a light on the amazing but not very popular W-735H. Bought a bit less than 10 years ago, I've used it pretty much like a G-Shock since (sport, workshop, gardening, moving,...) and it has never failed me. Now that I think about it, it might be the best watch related purchase I ever made.
Sorry but I have a question from France... 158 ? 168 ? 700 ? Same price but what is the best choice et some differences please ? Thanks a lot ! And congratulations for your channel
I hope you have the review of DB-520, the older version of DB-380. I have no problem with DB-380, but I think I must prefer the re-issue of DB-520 but hard to find both online and watch shops nowadays. I'm glad I have that one which is came from 1987 model. My DB-520 is my early school/work partner for almost 23 years and never dissapoints me. Very reliable. I'm always come early at workplace. Battery spending, but nevermind. And DB-520 has more features such as world time and telememo 50 storage that appears on screen. I hope you have review that particular model. But after all, it's Casio 😊🙏
You should get a Casio MDV106 commonly called the Duro if you don’t have one. Currently on Amazon at less than £50. Dive watch styling, 200 m water resistance and unidirectional bezel and it is said that it’s the watch that Bill Gates wears.
Thought you might say that. Luckily I have large wrists. Just had 2 weeks holiday in Rhodes and took 4 watches with me. Really massive Zelos Abyss 3 in Bronze, Casio Duro, Vostock Komandierski and my HUAWEI GT2 smart watch.
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR haha. It’s not a slog with your little pre-recorded interjections! Very slick use of editing. Helps with your mad & manic style! None of us have an attention span anymore so thanks for keeping us amused!
Great! And perfect timing: My daughter (8 years) got her first Casio today! F91 in orange...
Sebastian! That is superb timing! My daughter has the Orange F91 to!;)
My daughter got the f91w in yellow for her 7th bday 😊
Thank you for comments so far!!! Yes I have missed out the obvious DURO!!!! However after my review I gave it away;) TOOOO BIG! th-cam.com/video/VIpniQxWfFs/w-d-xo.html
The Casio Duro is now out at a more wearable 36mm! Check the MDV-10 series - it was launched just a few weeks ago.
Great production quality, as always! Thanks for having a real personality!
Thanks for watching my friend!
Bought 2 Casios this year: A168 ($18) & the DW290 ($38). These watches give me so much happiness and take me back to my youth.
Amazing Rich! Congrats on the purchase!!
Surprisingly entertaining 👍 , a bit like the Argos catalogue in the 80s 😂
Absolutely!!!! Thank you for watching my friend!
The mad watch Argonaut. 🤣😂🤣😂

Super episode Russ, a 20min video that felt like five minutes I enjoyed it that much. Fantastic and honest as always mate 🔥👍👍👍

Every time I see the “Hello.” with the baby hand wave, I chuckle and rewind/watch it a few times!
Hahahaha definitely one of the wife’s best Chris pressies of last year!!!
Your videos are sooo amazing omg!

Lol
Hahahaha not broken just a pain! Have you ever accidents broke of a digital pusher on y’cheap casios before?? I haven’t!
Not yet. But I was digging at that button with a toothpick and pushing on it pretty hard. Thank God for google. Lol
The w800 is awesome as well. Great square'ish and simple design.
Tob! Yes agree it’s a nice looking Casio!
😂 The F-91 backlight segment 👏 bravo!
I have the Casio f91-w, it's my first Casio but I'm getting the feeling it won't be my last!
Wake me up before you go-go. 😂 I loved my calculator watch. Me and you shared the same first watch mate.
Yes my friend!!!!!
Ah for us older subscribers it was the Green Shield Stamp catalogue before Argos arrived.
I owned the DB-380 more than a decade ago, it was really cheap back then ... And my dad got one for himself too, mine was plastic, his was steel.
We lost mine in a river...
My dad got tired of wearing his. It never broke down though.
I bought the fishing watch for one of my mates who’s big into his fishing. Anything to stop him blanking!
I had a Casio Pathfinder that vibrated. They don't make it anymore. It was $30.
The fishing watch rocks! The most inexpensive moon phase on the market and a 10 YEAR battery. Stellar! ✨
Fantatic review of some classic Casios, I love every one of them!
My first daily driver Casio was my dad's old G-2300-9V G-Shock back in high school. He wasn't really using it much and I had just broken the either Casio or Timex watch I'd been using up until then. I still have that watch and take care of it best I can while using my Royale and other watches more frequently. This is great stuff my friend . The Citizen looks good!!!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR Hahaha I recently bought the fishing watch 🎣😎😂🤙🏽 Also buying a few more of these Casios because they’re awesome and addicting 😁
Oooooo some great choices my friend !
I recently picked up a W-800H for around $25 USD...100m water resistance, large legible screen, dual time, 10 year battery...a real bargain!
Very cool watch indeed my friend!
My everyday watch: Casio Edifice EFS-S510D-1AVUEF-Solar, saphire crystal and 100WR. Bracelet is rubbish but I should have bought more than one. A great value if you can find one!
Lovely léon!
It’s all about the Argos!!!!
I just ordered an AE 1500WH. Under $20 US. Biggest time display, maybe I can read at night without my glasses. Before that my most recent Casio is a W753, A Moon and tide data watch also under $20 US.
Just bought the W-218H-3AVEF , niice , and only 29 quid , but it might be too big , doh! Oh , and i have just bought one of yer mugs! its a stunner!
Nice Mal! The G Shick that’s not a GShock!;)

I was always looking at casios in the Argos as a kid loved the game watches as well
A700W-1A is based off the early 80's SA-410. I saw Japanese and Spanish blogs about it.

You are absolutely right with your Pringles comparison. You can't own enough CASIO watches. Plus: Once I put on one of my CASIO watches in the morning, I feel bad for the other ones having to stay at home.
I feel your pain my friend!
You should check the DW-291: a heavy duty confortable watch with mineral crystal, 10 year battery, 200 m WR and lots of functions for a great price.
Great shout Jesus!!!! That’s on the list!
This video inspired me to buy the AE1200! 2. Tough solar
3.Titanium
4.Sapphire
The problem this watch is only selling in Japan but you can get online

Great video, I can say 'snap' on quite a few of those. Didn't you want to include the Casio Duro? I guess it doesn't quite fit with the digital vibe🤔🙂
Thanks my friend! Well the one I had I gave away. Too big for me despite it being awesome!
I love my a158w. It has everything what I need. It has this vintage looks like f91 but with much better band. And even though it's wr30. I swim with it and it has no problem with it whatsoever.
Great calls here my friend! I do love the A158! Go check out part 2;)
You should look at the 358AMW-320C. An 80s and 90s classic! I had one in '85 or so.
Rich! Yes very nice looking! Sporty!!
I picked up the AW-90H from Argos this week. It’s a great watch and if you get the digital and analogue time spot on it’s great to see the minutes hand move.
Yes I like that Phil!
Just remembered that i had bought a casio as a beater when i was in the states back in 2015 and its still available , not a digital though but smart , its the MW600F-1AV .
Very unusual these ones! That one has an SKX handset!;)
Starship Troopers, the data bank watch
So somehow...not quite sure how EXACTLY, I ended up buying the F84W-1 (Japanese version of f91w) and the F91W with a GREEN border! What am I doing and why?? BTW, would you review these? I think it could be fun. Or maybe that's just me and I too need to get a Casio "Fridge". Ok, let's blame the heat and I am going to lie down in a dark room. PS: at least they were cheap MWC, I hope YOU understand me...
Cool! My faves of this list are the A158, A500, A700
Thanks for watching my friend! Part is out this week!!!
Just watching a film called 'Warriors of the future' featuring the Casio DBC
Casios in recent movies such as Army of Thieves and Morbius.
How about the GD-350? How about a review on it?
Aaah DW - 290 the Mission Impossible watch 🤩
Found your channel today and currently binging, how have you not got more subscribers? Im into G shocks and have just picked up a blue GA 2100 today!
Thank you my friend!!! Enjoy there is plenty to get through!;)
Hi and thanks for this interesting and very entertaining video.
1° A 700
2° A 168
3° A 158
I didn't want to subscribe to your channel, but couldn't bloody well help it. You know your onions.
Had my friend then gave it away …………. TOOOOO BIIIIIIIG!!!!!!! Check out my review of it;)
Thought you might say that. Luckily I have large wrists. Just had 2 weeks holiday in Rhodes and took 4 watches with me. Really massive Zelos Abyss 3 in Bronze, Casio Duro, Vostock Komandierski and my HUAWEI GT2 smart watch.
@@StevenMRSenior well it’s amazing value for money Steven that’s for sure!
These watches are so amazing.
17:24 very Brent-esque in your delivery there! Love it. And again at 18:02 😂
Hahahaha thanks nick! All the best! I’m chuffed you watched 18 minutes of it!!!
@@THEMADWATCHCOLLECTOR haha. It’s not a slog with your little pre-recorded interjections! Very slick use of editing. Helps with your mad & manic style! None of us have an attention span anymore so thanks for keeping us amused!
