Guess Who's Back skit is a great evidence for this, the skit starts with the Tobey beat and Tobey ends with it trailing off into the skit, but in reverse the skit ends with footsteps then Tobey starts with footsteps.
@@1100MC Only one that doesn't make sense to me is Lucifer and antichrist doesn't flow into each other backwards. The fact im not even sure is crazy this album is amazing even if not.
I’m struggling to understand on what happened in guilty conscience 2 then, so who shot the bullet? And does marshall die in that track or in renaissance
I struggled to feel the flow of the album when I first listened to it. It didn't really make any sense to me and felt like things were moving so quickly with slim, which made the second half feel a little jarring and disjointed. It actually made way more sense to me when I listened to it backwards. Almost as if it was the story of someone dealing with schizophrenia or some sort of personality disorder struggling with addiction, not to a substance, but to a way of being that may have been surpressed. The album is a whole lot deeper in reverse to me, much like how DAMN did when I first listened to it in reverse.
@@Djsinane that is what confuses me😂 if the story in Guilty Conscience 2 wasn’t a dream, and a bullet was shot, and supposedly marshall died, how does he show up on later?
What convinced me is when you listen to it backwards #18 Guess Who’s Back skit when Ken Kaniff’s walking and the end. It blends into the walking at the beginning of #17 Tobey.
Fr. Im not sure why anyone is surprised that a concept of birth to death would not make sense if reversed the stages from death to birth. It's just natural, like Benjamin Button. If the concept made sense in forward order it would make sense in reverse order too, no surprise. The only question is does em have a B side or something to play into that angle. If not, cool. If so, then it is extra creative because we only saw half of the movie when we thought it had ended.
To exaggerate a little bit but some truth to it: The only rapper that has beaten Eminem is Slim Shady 🤣🤣🤣 Slim Shady is also the rapper Eminem is hardest compared to 🤣🤣
This makes total sense! If you look up the word "Renaissance" it means "a fervent period of European cultural, artistic, political and economic “rebirth” following the Middle Ages." In reverse order the last track is Renaissance and only had Slim Shady rapping on it. This is Slim Shady's "rebirth". This is the Renaissance of Slim Shady!
You are right, but it’s not really hidden and IMO this whole rebirth happens before this album and is part of the concept. The graveyard trailer where Slim is ressurected from the dead, Houdini portal, and lyrics in album saying Slim is back. So Em as artist is saying Slim is back from the dead as Shady LP was over 20 years ago, but I still believe Marshall kills him off for good on this project. Thats just the whole concept, nothing deep to it
And how this track ends make much more sense when listening into backwards order. At the start, Slim spits at Marshall "corpse" and make his solo track. But as he gets into the end of his first verse (end of the song) he gets cut off (1:36), says "Wait..." and you can hear like someone tries to say something with his mouth taped shut. That's Marshall waking up as he's still alive. @Edit I guess I reached to far. I thought track ends with "until your funeral, wait..." but the lyrics actually are "until your funeral wake". So either he did that on purpose and made "wake" and "wait" sounds like homophones or my english is just to shitty and I misheard the lyrics.
@@20eyesmisfit Is he tho? Because when I heard this track for the first time I was 100% sure it's an old, not finished song put into the album (hence why it's just a single verse). Later people said it was made through an AI. Because both flow and voice in this track is so different than anything "new" he has done. It just screams Slim Shady to me.
Listening to the album backwards reminds me of this line from the Usual Suspects: “The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he did not exist.”
The Album is all about addiction so forward is Eminem beating addiction and backwards is Eminem letting the addiction beat him... that's why he said listen to it in order
@taahirpetersen3839 it is tho cause slim shady is Marshall on the drugs and Eminem is Marshall off the drugs... slim shady was basically Marshall when he started popping pills
@safersephiroth943 so with Renaissance starting first is emineml beating the addiction but backwards is Eminem losing the fight against slim aka Marshal ego off the drugs

*More points to prove this theory* : 1. ON Guess who's back skit at the end of it you can hear footsteps and the same footsteps are in the Tobey's intro 2. At the end of the Houdini Music video you can see EM and Pete Davidson go on a Road Rage... get it? the next song in backwards after it is CALLED ROAD RAGE 3. Slim brings back Brand new dance cause marshal removed it ( he argued earlier why he removed it in Guilty conscience 2) 4. The promotional video for the album also hints at this, Marshall is clearly locked in the basement (slim has not killed Marshall yet here)
I listened to the full album on repeat for an entire two days. I heard about this theory other day and decided to listen to it backwards. 4 times I listened to it backwards. I have to be honest…this is the most creative album I’ve ever heard anyone drop. And you don’t even have to be a fan of his music, fkow, style and or the genre, but if you can’t grasp the creativity in this album to be able to tell two sides of a story depending on the order you play it, then you shouldn’t be a fan of music at all.

@@BluntVille Oh lmao I’m a Kendrick fan, even before the beef I hated Drake and liked Kendrick, I be trolling under Drake and Kendrick posts. You’ll see me acting normal otherwise.
Honestly, I think it makes more sense backwards for one simple reason. He’s been Marshall for so long, it doesn’t make sense to start with Slim in control. It makes wayyyy more sense backwards as a story of his descent into madness. It seems to me like Slim won the war and organized the album the way he did to cover his tracks and go incognito. on the third verse of the Houdini music video, slim and Marshall morph into one rapper. we see the constant back and forth between the 2 voices throughout the album with slim shady torturing Em
When you look at the way it's posted on TH-cam. The way someone would upload episodes. The "first" video you would watch is somebody save me. And the album plays out back to front. The last song to play is Renaissance. When the album dropped I was saying they dropped it backwards.
What sealed it for me was the menacing laugh at the end of GC2, after he called Paul to tell him about that “dream” that wasn’t a dream and Slim took over, he just called Paul to troll.
@@FlareDope dude got some parts wrong.. yea it was a dream (alarm goes off in the skit) but it was signifying that wut happened in GC2 didn't really happen it was a dream (alarm) meaning Slim didn't really get shot. Marshall pulled the trigger then alarm goes off & he wakes up.
Em didnt kill shady, after all that happened he woke up and the alarm rang cuz it was all a dream. And he called paul and paul hung up on him cuz he thought em was just trolling him. Everything really starts to click into place . We know every move with Em is calculated. Leaking a track called ‘Houdini’ to promote an album called ‘The Death of..’ is a genius move in itself considering all the ‘cheating death’ stunts the magician was most widely known for. It was right there in front of us the whole time. The ‘Death’ of Slim Shady was really just an illusion.. his last trick, if you will. Incredible really.
Definitely makes sense… most people listen in order anyway, Em’s message was a hint Houdini ending with Pete have Road Rage >>> Slim having white shoes on Houdini and the graveyard video > Paul hanging up on Em in Guilty Conscience then listening to the album on Houdini >> etc, etc, etc … Undisputed GOAT
I kept thinking right now. The album name TDOSS , and the hinting of the upcoming side B version of the album... We know that Side A version of the album name is the Death of Slim Shady. But what if the upcoming version of the same album, Side B, renames it from TDOSS into "The Death of Marshall Mathers"? Two sides of the same coin/album.
this man gave us a choose your own adventure album and people still say he isnt the goat 😂 and marshall did grow up at the time that people thought rock songs had secret messages if you played them in reverse so i would not put it past him.
Yooo Shaq this is crazy af. I listened both ways after watching your vid and you right. Eminem is a pure genius. I actually like the album better in reverse 19-1
All You Got (skit) makes even more sense backwards. Slim tells Marshall, “how many times you try to kill me? I always come back”. In reverse order, this happens after Guilty Conscience 2 where Marshall dreams that he kills Slim. Slim laughing at the end of that track implies he survived anyway. Then continuing in reverse order, in Trouble, Slim says “thought you were dreaming, huh?” There’s also several other references to sleeping, waking up, alarm clock sounds and having dreams or nightmares throughout.
@@whatisnikkidoing the theme is more on houdini, which was used to set the mood for the album...so the theme carried on subliminally but it was always there.
Houdini was a magician for sure, but the bigger thing he was known for was being an escape artist. Shady was finding a way to escape his own death. Also, fun fact: the biggest part of being a magician is the art of distraction, the psa of listening in order was a good enough distraction to us the fans to not see what was happening behind the scenes (the reverse order)
Even more telling is in 'Antichrist' you hear bizzare come in towards the end multiple times with the very ominous 'You wanna dance with the Devil?' literally questioning Marshall & the audience if we're ready for the Devil himself, The REAL Slim Shady to once again show himself. And then plays 'Lucifer'
@@dotapark Also at the end of Houdini they are fused together ridding in the car with pete wrecking into shit and the song after (if played in reverse) is road rage.
I think this is the meaning of Tobey. He references Tobey/Peter Parker getting bit by a spider, which we all know turned him into spiderman, a better version of himself enhanced with spider abilities. But Marshall got bit by a g.o.a.t./Slim Shady. Setting up Marshall turning a better version of himself with the g.o.a.t./Slim Shady abilities. Just like Peter Parker got bit by a spider and started the process of turning into spider man. Marshall got bit by a g.o.a.t. and is starting the process of turning into the Slim Shady. Also I absolutely love Temporary. But in my opinion it doesn't fit in the narrative of marshall killing slim if you listen to it in order. But perfectly fits the story if you listen in reverse. After getting bit by the spider, Marshall knows what's coming next so he's writing his goodbye letter to Hailie. He knows Slim is coming back at this point.
Faaactsss like in order I think it’s him making something meaningful and thoughtful for his daughter now that shady is dead, and in reverse it’s foreshadowing PERFECTLY and like you said makes even more sense. He’s a fucking goat. Genius
Yoooo, I'm just gonna drop the Motha F***ing Word here... Homie made an album that goes far beyond production. This Joint is a Masterclass in all Forms of Hip-Hop, Album Production, and Rapping at a level most could never dream of! I don't like to pick favorites but this record is in the damn conversation..absolute genius!
On Em’s site for TDOSS merch, it says, “explore the demise and rebirth of the iconic alter ego” Rebirth wouldn’t make sense unless Renaissance was the last track of the album and also… in Houdini, he says “Sometimes I wonder what the old me’d say, if he could see the way it is today” which doesn’t make front-to-back as Slim already spoke his mind, but backwards, it makes sense since the Renaissance and the other songs haven’t come yet Edit: Also on Trouble, Slim tells Em, “Thought you were dreaming, huh?” which could be a callback to Guilty Conscience 2 since he dreams the whole scenario. Edit 2: This might be a reach, but like how Shaq said that it’s Marshall rapping but Shady is in control in Evil, so Marshall is essentially a vessel for Shady, like he’s possessed. This ties back to the original trailer for TDOSS from the hospital where the baby wakes up as a demon with horns growing out and the forked tongue.
I haven’t seen Em in concert since the anger management tour. I thought he couldn’t get any better than he was at the time. He had proven that hip hop artist can definitely get better with age. That P.Did He? P .Diddy bar was the best wordplay I’ve ever heard. If he tours here in Cali I’m definitely gonna go see him again.

The footsteps you hear in Guess who’s back skit has the same footsteps that lead into Tobey. At the end of GC2 when Em calls Paul, Paul hangs up on Em and then you have Slim Shady’s evil laugh. Paul calls Em and says “good luck” in the beginning of Houdini. In Houdini he says “what you thought you saw ain’t what you saw”. Renaissance has Slim spitting on Em’s grave.
“You never gon’ see me caught sleepin” following immediately after basically confirms that. Shady said we’ll never see him buried, that’s Marshall in the grave
There's no doubt about it, he is a genius & a highly functioning one. Slim Shady is Ems Shadow, all the juicy shit exposed, with zero fks given. Nothing but props. The whole album is hot fya.
I think we gettin a Side B that’s gonna be TOUGH!! Like THATS the one that’ll get him cancelled because this didn’t work to cancel him. the amount of people buying this without actually listening to the album backwards to confirm it works is embarrassing. No the album doesn't work backwards. The album *can not* work backwards, it tells us this in songs and in skits, if it is in reverse then it means the end of the album (which is the start) would mean hes just taking his first drug then, despite him being heavily on drugs in the tracks before hand... The album is taking us on a journey of Slim Shady to who he is today, Slim Shady is his addiction that he is constantly fighting. We open the album with classic Slim Shady, the voice, the flow and rhyme patterns make this very easy to identify. Then we move to Habits where Slim (His drug addict side) forces himself to try a pill and settles on just taking half, this is the start of Eminems drug abuse. We move to the skit where he takes alcohol and pills combined, which leads us into Encore Slim Shady and the "brand new dance" track, taken directly from Encore, this is Eminem at his drug abuse stage. We then come to Evil, Lucifer and Antichrist, these are the relapse era Slim Shady, getting his kicks from murder, in one of the tracks he even uses a scheme and flow from Stay Wide Awake, from Relapse. We then move to Houdini, this is where Eminem is now getting clean but fighting with his addict self, the music video shows us this also. By GC2 we have Recovery Eminem, he is now sober and can control his addiction, Slim Shady represents this by telling Eminem a lot of truths about how at one point, he made Eminem who he is (his drug addiction, made him that crazy rapper saying things we all laughed at) This is highlighted in the song by Eminem accepting what Slim is telling him (This can be seen as one of the 12 steps) and once that happens Eminem says to Slim "let me go" and Slim does this... Eminem beats his addiction. The rest of the album is Eminem today, Head Honcho he copies what he did earlier and uses a flow and scheme from the MMLP2 album. By the end of the album we have the "what if" song, "Somebody Save Me" This is Eminem reflecting on what would happen if he did not beat his addiction, but still shows the thought is always on his mind... The album then loops, and repeats, the end of the album sets up the beginning and the promo work we seen, (Shadys hand coming out of the grave) We go on a journey through his career as an addict and the cycle repeats, showing that he is constantly fighting addiction, but he can keep winning.
@@Darrakkii I mean when I first saw this theory the first thing I did was open spotify and created a reversed playlist for myself and imo it works pretty fucking well.

When I listened to the album in order, I got confused with how Houdini was placed in the last part of the album even though the lyrics says ‘guess whos back’. Now it makes perfect sense if you listen it backwards. Genius !!
the scary thing is that when the album dropped in yt. I texted in yt exactly this 'the doss eminem album' AND THE FIRST SONG THAT POPPED OUT FIRST WAS 'somebody save me' also if you look back at the godzilla song of em.In the end em starts to rap like rap god and when he stops he says 'man stop, look what i am planning haha' and then em stabs the em in the 'deathbed' or 'hospital bed'.ALSO in an another track named 'fall' by em.The song starts of em being annoyed of detroit posts when some of them says that he is not anymore slim shady and he is old & useless in rap and if the slim shady come back.THEN a full black figure COMES OUT OF A TABLET when a couple were watching a post with slim shady inside of it.The black figure start chasing em and em is trying to escape but in the end the black figure with a attack move.Became ONE with em and em leaves with fully black eyes like 'evil'. IF EMINEM WAS PLANNING THIS ALL THIS YEARS THIS MF IS TOO CRAZY
I don't think Marshall really killed Slim listening forward, though. He dreamt it and then there was that laugh at the end of Guilty Conscience 2 alluding to us that Shady was still going to be around.
yeah that’s exactly what i was thinking! Why was there that laugh at the end of the phone call if Marshall sounds genuinely worried if Slim was dead and gone ?
@@yavetteeee Slim is not a physical entity, he is a manifestation of personality in the mind. So the laugh is Slim Shady hiding in the mind. Probably when the World needs him the most. Waiting for that 70-year-old RapBoy😂
i haven't seen anyone mention that one yet-: Like Sharri pappini, Harry Houdini (faked a kidnapping) . If you listen to the album in reverse, and you watch the Basement trailer (which i think is a pivotal part of the story) maybe Marshall and Slim are truly in cahoots (as mentioned in GC2) and Marshall faked his own kidnapping by Shady to fully embrace the Slim Shady character on the potential Side B. And then comes in what everyone has been saying, What you thought you saw ain't what you saw- I think this all makes too much sense. And actually Houdini might be the part where he reveals the entire trick of the album being in reverse and teasing a side B, which would have been a brilliant move, to reveal it from the first lead single, and then he he pulls a stunt and fake-kidnaps himself to be back as Slim. Just thought it was worth mentioning.. One of my fav Em albums of all time for sure! SLIMS REVENGE (side B) in 6 months calling it now lol
Listen to the sound of him walking at the end of guess who's back skit and notice how tobey started. Also if you listen in order, there is tobey's instrumental at the beginning of the skit. So this makes total sense.

That would be genius imho. Thanks for this Shaq, had no idea about reversing the album til you’re video after which I dug deeper for myself. Appreciate all you do big dog!
Either that, or he’s just being straightforward and won’t continue making music as Slim, because of the time we live in, he decided since he no longer “feeds that demon” of addiction, and ego that is (or was) the Slim Shady persona, and this was his way of putting out a great record and seeing what the response to it is in the way of “cancelling him”. IDK! Em is a pure genius like you said Shaq!

In reverse order the last track is Renaissance and only had Slim Shady rapping on it.
@Edit
I guess I reached to far. I thought track ends with "until your funeral, wait..." but the lyrics actually are "until your funeral wake". So either he did that on purpose and made "wake" and "wait" sounds like homophones or my english is just to shitty and I misheard the lyrics.
Why is slim still rapping like Marshall would in Renaissance? Makes no sense at all.

It wasn't about addiction tho
@taahirpetersen3839 it is tho cause slim shady is Marshall on the drugs and Eminem is Marshall off the drugs... slim shady was basically Marshall when he started popping pills
@safersephiroth943 so with Renaissance starting first is emineml beating the addiction but backwards is Eminem losing the fight against slim aka Marshal ego off the drugs

If you think about it , on Houdini Paul is actually warning Marshall about fighting against Shady. “I just listened to the album……good f****** luck”
on the third verse of the Houdini music video, slim and Marshall morph into one rapper. we see the constant back and forth between the 2 voices throughout the album with slim shady torturing Em
When you look at the way it's posted on TH-cam. The way someone would upload episodes. The "first" video you would watch is somebody save me. And the album plays out back to front. The last song to play is Renaissance. When the album dropped I was saying they dropped it backwards.
I started with Somebody Save me specifically because of the way they uploaded it.

What sealed it for me was the menacing laugh at the end of GC2, after he called Paul to tell him about that “dream” that wasn’t a dream and Slim took over, he just called Paul to troll.
Can you explain how it was shady taking over though? Because the whole song was Em killing shady, so doesn’t it make more sense that it was a dream?
But what confuses me is the GC2 skit says that he woke up and he was still dreaming, which is a reference to the previous song he woke up in
@@FlareDope dude got some parts wrong.. yea it was a dream (alarm goes off in the skit) but it was signifying that wut happened in GC2 didn't really happen it was a dream (alarm) meaning Slim didn't really get shot. Marshall pulled the trigger then alarm goes off & he wakes up.
Em didnt kill shady, after all that happened he woke up and the alarm rang cuz it was all a dream. And he called paul and paul hung up on him cuz he thought em was just trolling him. Then paul calls at the beginning of houdini after slim shows marshall what hes done. Im thinking shady is like freddy krueger. Marshall is getting taken over and hes blaming shady, shady is changing his realiyy. but nobody believes him including paul. They all think hes just being crazy. @@FlareDope
Finally, somebody that really understands & appreciates the creativity of this album.
Right in front of our faces exactly - even the album cover has Slim clearly alive -“cheating /fakin his death”
Just realized that.... I knew Houdini was something hidden. He does shit like that all the time
Definitely makes sense… most people listen in order anyway, Em’s message was a hint
Houdini ending with Pete have Road Rage >>>
Slim having white shoes on Houdini and the graveyard video >
Paul hanging up on Em in Guilty Conscience then listening to the album on Houdini >>
etc, etc, etc …
Undisputed GOAT
In the graveyard video, Slim wears Air Max 90, as Marshall said in Houdini
I kept thinking right now. The album name TDOSS , and the hinting of the upcoming side B version of the album...
We know that Side A version of the album name is the Death of Slim Shady. But what if the upcoming version of the same album, Side B, renames it from TDOSS into "The Death of Marshall Mathers"?
Two sides of the same coin/album.
Kendrick did this idea first, in a deeper way
Both did it great though
this man gave us a choose your own adventure album and people still say he isnt the goat 😂 and marshall did grow up at the time that people thought rock songs had secret messages if you played them in reverse so i would not put it past him.
that’s true he used to mention that shit all the time in his songs or in general
Best comment! I remember those books and use to love reading them as a kid lol
yeah he even has reversed lyrics in Stimulate so it makes sense
Yooo Shaq this is crazy af. I listened both ways after watching your vid and you right. Eminem is a pure genius. I actually like the album better in reverse 19-1
All You Got (skit) makes even more sense backwards. Slim tells Marshall, “how many times you try to kill me? I always come back”. In reverse order, this happens after Guilty Conscience 2 where Marshall dreams that he kills Slim. Slim laughing at the end of that track implies he survived anyway.
Then continuing in reverse order, in Trouble, Slim says “thought you were dreaming, huh?”
There’s also several other references to sleeping, waking up, alarm clock sounds and having dreams or nightmares throughout.
And the Ken keniff skit makes even less sense .
@@tornicade What makes sense in that skit in the reverse album context is that the footsteps in the end transitions into the beginning of "Tobey".
@@sunnyboy5242 No without a video skip the skit is at the end of Toby, theory makes no sense

So we are all up rn?

And then plays 'Lucifer'

"Guess who's back" ends with footsteps- just like tobey begins

its crazy because Guess who's back starts how Tobey ends too. it all makes too much sense for it to be a reach at this point
Hold the hell on why is that true wtf 😂
@@dotapark Also at the end of Houdini they are fused together ridding in the car with pete wrecking into shit and the song after (if played in reverse) is road rage.
Because that skit with Ken (not slim) is at the end of Toby, when listening to the actual CD without a skip of a video on YT, it is part of Toby.
Bit by a goat. Did that make him Goatman?
@@johnbloomjr1544😂
Also it reminds me of his song Venom, where he is referencing how Slim infected everyone!
And the fact that he's both real dead and cancelled in society if Slim succeeded
Faaactsss like in order I think it’s him making something meaningful and thoughtful for his daughter now that shady is dead, and in reverse it’s foreshadowing PERFECTLY and like you said makes even more sense. He’s a fucking goat. Genius
Can't deny Em's genius to write lyrics for each song and to structure each song in a way that it tells two different stories.

😮 I never caught that. Thanks
I said same thing.
Love the work you put into this. The thought. The love for Em. Thank you for doing that to share with us. It's always all love from me bro bro
On Em’s site for TDOSS merch, it says, “explore the demise and rebirth of the iconic alter ego”
Rebirth wouldn’t make sense unless Renaissance was the last track of the album
and also… in Houdini, he says “Sometimes I wonder what the old me’d say, if he could see the way it is today” which doesn’t make front-to-back as Slim already spoke his mind, but backwards, it makes sense since the Renaissance and the other songs haven’t come yet
Edit: Also on Trouble, Slim tells Em, “Thought you were dreaming, huh?” which could be a callback to Guilty Conscience 2 since he dreams the whole scenario.

But Toby is playing during the beginning of that skit. Make it make sense.
“You never gon’ see me caught sleepin” following immediately after basically confirms that. Shady said we’ll never see him buried, that’s Marshall in the grave

That’s what I was thinking
the amount of people buying this without actually listening to the album backwards to confirm it works is embarrassing.
The album then loops, and repeats, the end of the album sets up the beginning and the promo work we seen, (Shadys hand coming out of the grave)
We go on a journey through his career as an addict and the cycle repeats, showing that he is constantly fighting addiction, but he can keep winning.

@@yavetteeee
Slim is not a physical entity, he is a manifestation of personality in the mind.
So the laugh is Slim Shady hiding in the mind. The audience heard the subconscious laugh, but the implication is that Marshall didn't.
Meaning that even in correct order, the implication is also that he will come back.
Probably when the World needs him the most.

At the end of Tobey music video, slim in jason mask, cuts Marshall up. Makes perfect sense. Genius isnt giving him enough credit. Unreal man
Have you read Faust? Dostojevsky? .. I can't anymore.
i haven't seen anyone mention that one yet-: Like Sharri pappini, Harry Houdini (faked a kidnapping) .

Ohhhh can you elaborate this sounds nuts?
@@torrientalsolace7785there was a flying sign with a number on it and when you call it's a recorded steve Berman skip saying Slim is missing.

🤯🤯🤯
Can't forget the Guess Who's Back skit ended with footsteps which lead directly into Tobey, which starts with footsteps
no it doesnt, the last 4 seconds of Guess who's back is crickets not footsteps. Tobey ties directly into Guess who's back though.
@@Mxyznot if your listening to the album backwards.
@@hesii470 wtf? That doesn't make any sense lol
@@Mxyz yes it does because Guess Who’s back skit ends with footsteps and Tobey starts with footsteps
@@hesii470 no it doesn't, the last 4 seconds are crickets, not footsteps. You guys are trying to fit a square peg in a round hole.
Bro I think the first single was Houdini because he's pulling a fast one on us by saying to listen in order, he's playing the long game
got to wait for music video because it got to be organized in muisc video. it fire 🔥 🔥
i was suppose to go to bed....Dammit Shaq lol
MORE EM IM HERE FOR IT!!!!!!
It always threw me off that Houdini was toward the end of the album.. but is supposed to represent Slim returning. This makes a lot more sense, though.
Also makes sense with the phonecalls because on guilty Consciece 2 em calls Paul and tells him about his „dream“, then shady laughs hinting that it wasn’t a dream. Then on Houdini in the beginning Paul calls em and tells him he is on his own because of the stuff he (shady) says in the album/did in the dream
I read about that theory earlier today on FB. Great breakdown of this theory!
Eminem is a FUCKING genius
Em for real did an old school of if you listen to the album backwards there’s a hidden message. Whatever artist with the record and you spun it in reverse reveals a message. Em just did that shit in 2024 time
Rap God sitting on his throne, happy with all his fans and the fun chaos he has created, and laughing at anyone crying that he can't be number one. God Goat - You have solidified in everyway, that you are so many levels above - And Fuel - You were showing off. Well Played
And for anyone who doesn't know how the magic works is a brow up bitter.
I think it makes all the sense in the world for “Slim Shady” to have killed off “Marshall Mathers” as a persona (no TMMLP3 or anything like that) and going forward will just refer to himself as Eminem (maybe featuring Slim Shady, or even featuring Marshall Mathers on some tracks in the near future)!
The grave in the beginning says it feels so empty without him implying the grave may be without shady.
I think he was quoting the song 'Without me'
"Without me" was from the Eminem Show
So saying "it feels so empty without him"
Would be Slim talking about Marshal
First it hints the grave dont have eminem body under, em did the trick to survival the slim murder, and he gonna comeback to kill slimshady in the side B, secondly its slim shady wrote the "it feels so empty without him" to implying he still need eminem to be a full mind
on top of this, the second track and the track before last, he starts on both of them with "been waiting a long time for this shit, Long time no see, thought you got rid of my ass", and the first track "Renaissance" is a 100% Slim, Where as the last track is 100% Em. Im just in awe of this creation. TY Dr. Dre
Petition for nolifeshaq to do a stream in reverse order
He said to listen to it in order...he didn't say which order. Genius.
That's why he is one of the greatest of all time
Kendrick lamar and tons of other artist have done this before...This isn't new
@MrEAW56 So........
@@pmPRODUCT85 you guys are acting like you've never seen this before. "Oh mY gAwD hEs sUCh a GEniuS"
@@MrEAW56Kendrick no where near em
@@MrEAW56 kendrick is trash and he didn't even do that people just think he did cuz they fanbots.
I think reverse playlist makes a lot of sense. In habits he asks with R word. When only the other r word used in the diddy line wasn't mentioned yet in normal order.
Oh shit
The definition of renaissance means “the revival of art” and we see if you go back listen to album reverse the last song (Beginning) where he wraps completely in Slim Shady‘s voice means shady is back 100%
That's actually a good point.
🗣️ #GENIUS!!! The SUBSTANCE behind this MAN, His TALENT with His music 🎶 is WHY HE'S THE #GOAT!!!! 💯 💯 💯
2:02 thats deep as hell if you have to listen this album back n forth.
