Love your videos! I have a question-- will those plants (the size you showed in the the video) survive a zone 5/6 winter out there in the open....or, if they didn't all sell, would how would you protect the plants. I have a fair amount of space to grow in pots, but due to landlords restrictions, I would not be allowed to dig up my yard to put the plants in the ground over the winter...just concerned about how to save "leftover" plants in containers. Thanks for your time.

So I’m highly interested in doin something similar as you are! So far I have ordered 50 red maples and 50 blue spruce along with a couple Japanese maple trees to grow for cuttings in yard. Is my plan of start and good???
Dicofole It's really your preference. Some people don't like holding retail sales at their home... I've done it for years. The advantages of wholesale are, you can grow one specific plant that you know will thrive in your area and become the go-to source for that plant. You can ship to other growers all over the country. Another advantage is the transaction sizes are typically larger. Any time I order plants from other growers I usually always spend at least a couple hundred bucks, if not a couple thousand!

I have to put 40% shade cloth over my potted plant area to keep them from drying out too fast. Even though I water every evening.
