I Love this design . The only thing I'd change is the wall between the Kitchen and Living Room, it would be open concept, and a Garage. Everything else is PERFECT.😊

You could put a toilet and sink in the laundry room area and take out the laundry sink and that big cabinet so many homes have the big laundry sink and no one ever uses them

Just love I think the wall between the kitchen and living room should be open making it a larger space. And would have a glass concertina door in the shower in stead of curtains which would make the bathroom look bigger.

This house is stunning! I love the dark wood exterior and the low lighting and how the wood anesthetic is continued throughout the house. The layout is awesome, and the large front door and the entranceway is great. I absolutely love the huge kitchen and bay window dining room. This is the kind of house you see listed for $1.5 million and only wish you could live there!

It made my heart ache. I'd give anything to have something just like this. I love the layout plan and just everything. Wish somebody rich would offer to build me a small home as this one. I'd think I died and went to heaven. I really, really love this small home. The colors match so beautifully. I just love it more than I can say.

I really love this design.❤ I especially like HALLWAY CLOSET & cabinetry as well as the laundry 🧺 room. The only thing missing is a half bath 🚿, but there is room for one.
I love the way the front porch is constructed. It could easily be enclosed to make more INTERIOR space.
I'm not a fan of the color palette used, but that's an easy fix.

Very nice! I think this size is your niche. You certainly have a sense of what works and how to stay practical. I think however, the front door is too big. But everything is lovely and practical.

Nice entry, and I see a coat closet and bench! The kitchen/diner is very large, and if it were opened more to the living room and the wall between relocated, there would be enough extra square footage to add a powder room opposite the laundry room..

It is good. there is logic in it. What I do not like is that bathroom so close to the dining area and to the kitchen. I would replace it to the back.
My eyes picked up on something that I don't like. The door on the washing machine and dryer for me needs to open the other way from left to right. You've got it from right to left. Which seems like it would be opening and be in the way. Otherwise this small home is beautiful!!!

I would so happy and contented living in this house with a big dog and a cat, but I would make the living room more cosier, and add a back door from the dining area and a little porch at the back. Overall a very nice house 👌

Not sure if you noticed back door off main bedroom and a closet area with deck in the backyard, and door leading outside to the deck area from the main bedroom ( hall next to the bedroom?)

What is the square footage of this house and what would a rough estimate of a home like this one cost ?
The only thing I would change is the cinderblock wall where the fireplace is. A light wood wall would look better & homier. The cinderblock wall makes that room look depressing.
There’s a lot of wasted space in the foyer thru to the kitchen area.
You could squeeze a half bath or commode if you got rid of sink and ironing board In laundry room

What constitute the term "small house?" Square footage between x and y?

I have never understood why architects put a laundry-room by the kitchen, or a bathroom for that matter. Do most people use the bathroom, undress and bathe in their kitchens or dining rooms?! When designing a floor plan put the laundry-room and bathrooms in proximity to the bedrooms for goodness sake. I know I don’t want dirty clothes carried through my house to the area I cook and eat in so they can be washed and dried and carried back to the bedrooms for storage. Put things in perspective designers! If you need a half-bath coming into the house to tidy up after yard work then put one in by all means by your kitchen area, but not the whole shebang!

It is not a small house.. a lot of wasted space . But it is a nice home.

Pretty but that foyer that becomes the hallway has hugely wasted but nice airy space. Dining area is way too big for that kitchen is too smallish. LR is nice and smallish. Bedrooms felt small with insufficient storage. If exterior is real wood, overhangs should be 8’ minimally around entire home.
That kitchen floor makes me dizzy. Prefer solds

While this is a nice small home, I see something very concerning about the design.
The roof. Where the roof meets the fireplace chimney there will be water or snow melt gather at this junction. There should have been a pitch to the roofline where these meet to shed water away from this area. IMO

Like the floor plan but wish it had a master bathroom in the larger bedroom and I would not paint the walls in yellow yucky color.
